A raw unfiltered look at Israel's enemy
ironstone replied to carepov's topic in The Rest of the World
Most Palestinians also reject the 2 state model. They want to wipe Israel off the map. -
Well to be fair, Carney did say he was European. “I am European, actually,” he told a moderator in a World Economic Forum session posted to social media. “I am an Irish citizen. Speaking as a European …” https://torontosun.com/news/national/warmington-mark-carney-has-spoken-as-a-european-but-will-he-speak-as-canadas-pm

What does it even mean to be Canadian these days? Since 2015, Canada had a Prime Minister who publicly stated that we have no core values. Late last year, Justin Trudeau told the New York Times that Canada is becoming a new kind of country, not defined by our history or European national origins, but by a “pan-cultural heritage”. “There is no core identity, no mainstream in Canada,” Trudeau said, concluding that he sees Canada as “the first post-national state.” Even the New York Times called the suggestion “radical.”

It's more proof that he would like to prolong the trade war with the US as long as it benefits his party.

The Trump administration is slowly getting rid of people that would turn the country into a sh*thole. More Than 250 Tren de Aragua Gang Members Deported to El Salvador Prison: Rubio But...a judge is trying to block these efforts. Judge Blocks Trump’s Efforts to Deport Gang Members Under 1798 Alien Enemies Act The ACLU and Democracy Forward filed a lawsuit challenging Trump’s invocation of the Alien Enemies Act to speed along deportations of Venezuelan nationals. One side is trying to deport these violent gang members..and the Democrats are fighting that initiative.

So much so that they voted for the man that wanted to make Canada the first 'post national state'. https://torontosun.com/2016/09/14/trudeau-says-canada-has-no-core-identity Late last year, Justin Trudeau told the New York Times that Canada is becoming a new kind of country, not defined by our history or European national origins, but by a “pan-cultural heritage”. “There is no core identity, no mainstream in Canada,” Trudeau said, concluding that he sees Canada as “the first post-national state.” Even the New York Times called the suggestion “radical.”

Wrong country but you get the idea😉 -
From April 1 of 2024: Gasoline: Going from $65 per tonne to $80, means the carbon price on a litre of gasoline will now be 17.6 cents per litre, up 3.3 cents per litre from before. That means filling a 50 litre tank from empty will cost about $8.80 in carbon price, about $1.65 more than before. https://financialpost.com/commodities/energy/oil-gas/carbon-tax-increases-april-1-2024 On the example cited above, it would be nice to save that much on a fill up. I check the GasBuddy app every time I go out so it will be interesting to see how much the price drops, if any.

Canada Needs to Redirect Energy and Trade Away From U.S.

Ford was the biggest embarrassment of all when he threatened to cut off their power 'with a smile on my face'. It's not a bad thing to diversify our markets with more countries, but what have the Liberals done about it since 2015? -
Proof Mark Carney will fail as a politician

Now Carney is sending $84 million to Syria. https://thecountersignal.com/liberals-send-84m-to-syria-ease-sanctions-on-terror-linked-gov/ The Liberal government is sending $84 million in taxpayer funds to Syria and easing sanctions on the country’s interim government, which is led by the head of a designated terrorist organization. Fox News cited an Alawite estimate of over 4,000 dead, witnesses describing mass executions and targeted violence against families accused of supporting Assad’s former government. The Syrian Network for Human Rights has documented at least 125 civilian deaths including mass executions by government-aligned forces. Some things never change, governments pissing away money left, right and centre. -
Mark Carney = Michael Ignatief - Humility

It's a social construct..and it's fluid too🙄 -
Isn't he the guy that said he'll turn off the power to some states 'with a smile on my face!' ? He's backed down from that incredibly stupid comment, but this man has an ego. I wish our Premier's were like Danielle Smith.

More from the New York Post on Carney. It's like the far-left Liberals and far-left Democrats are interchangeable lol. https://nypost.com/2025/03/11/world-news/canadian-leader-mark-carneys-deep-ties-to-us-democrats-exposed/ -

When I saw that photo the first thing that popped into my head was Elizabeth Warren. -
Carney has a brilliant plan. He's going to make the big polluters pay, and he'll start with our own steel and aluminum plants. Polluters must pay. Now he was asked if this just would trickle down to Canadian consumers "No,” replied Carney. “Because what the big companies are producing by and large are not products that we are consuming. There’s some element of that but … you know, a steel company, how much steel are you using these days, Todd? Not as much — not as much we used to.” Surely the big companies would never dare to pass on the extra cost down the line to us, would they? https://www.msn.com/en-ca/money/topstories/jamie-sarkonak-carneys-carbon-plan-would-punish-canada-just-like-trumps-tariffs/ar-AA1yUoai Trump puts tariffs on us...and Carney too.😒

COP 30 is coming up in Brazil. Here is what they're doing to prepare for it. For a climate change conference, you can't make this up. As always, Canada will send a HUGE entourage. Eight-mile stretch of Amazon forest is felled... to build COP30 road -
Will Putin agree to a ceasefire?

Trump was the only one that has been consistent in saying he wants this war to end. -
I will condemn the use of violence. I condemn those who were violent on Jan 6, it was a disgusting act. I also condemn the far more numerous acts of violence perpetrated by BLM/Antifa over a period of years. How about you? You seem to be saying violence is acceptable as long as it's your side doing it.
