  1. 'It's one thing if it's a minor incursion...' And presumably, something else if it's not? You can't bring yourself to admit that Biden was not infallible. I was impressed by what Trump and Vance said to Zelensky.
  2. https://www.businessinsider.com/biden-suggests-russia-no-punishment-minor-ukraine-invasion-wh-clarify-2022-1?op=1 President Joe Biden appeared to suggest the US may not heavily punish Russia if it conducts a "minor incursion" into Ukraine, prompting the White House to swiftly clarify his remarks. Speaking to reporters Wednesday, Biden said that he predicts President Vladimir Putin will invade Ukraine and that NATO needs to be in agreement on a response. "I think what you're going to see is that Russia will be held accountable if it invades, and it depends on what it does," Biden said. "It's one thing if it's a minor incursion and we [NATO] end up having to fight about what to do and not to do."
  3. You guys basically sat around and did nothing while millions of unvetted military age men walked across your southern border for four years in broad daylight . Did you have any concern when Putin annexed Crimea in 2014? Maybe Biden shouldn't have said that a minor incursion by Russia wouldn't be a big deal?
  4. Maybe the shine might be coming off Carney just a bit? https://torontosun.com/opinion/columnists/lilley-peruvian-mayor-issues-warning-about-making-carney-canadas-pm Mayor Lopez Aliaga says based on Carney’s actions when he was chairman of Brookfield Asset Management, there should be serious questions asked about Carney’s character. In an interview from Lima, Aliaga said Brookfield, chaired by Carney, was “making massive profits off a toxic contract” plagued by bribes. “Canadians need to know the way Brookfield, under Mr. Mark Carney, operates here. They need to know how they obtain money from the suffering of poor people,” Aliaga said.
  5. I have zero concerns about Jews, Israelis who want to come and live in Canada. They won't be committing hate crimes against Muslims.
  6. It's fair game to criticize PP but it's also fair to point to the Liberals rather dismal record since 2015. 'Anger and discontent'. It is the job of the official opposition to hold the government to account.
  7. A lot of Canadians fell for 'sunny ways!'. Were you one of them?
  8. Trump will be tougher on Iran. He won't coddle them like Obama and Biden did. I don't want Palestinians exterminated. That's a pretty ominous term to use although it is kind of what Hamas wants to do with Israel. I don't shed any tears when the IDF takes out Hamas fighters. As I have stated before, the status quo with Israel and Gaza does not work. I don't want Palestinians over in the West either because of the baggage they bring.

  10. Witness Will Tell House DOGE Panel How Terrorists Got $122 Million from USAID Evidence of mis-directed U.S. tax dollars is growing wider and deeper as investigators within and without government keep digging. Middle East Forum (MEF) Executive Director Gregg Roman said he will testify that “there’s a fox loose in the henhouse of our foreign aid system” before the panel’s Feb. 26 hearing focusing on “America Last: How Foreign Aid Undermined U.S. Interests Around the World. “This problem began under the Obama administration, grew under the Biden administration, and now requires immediate action to halt dangerous mismanagement and a fatal moral confusion,” Roman said in a statement made available to The Epoch Times. That USAID is directing tax dollars to terrorist groups and their affiliates that are committed to the destruction of the United States and its allies is not merely mismanagement, according to Roman. “We’re not just talking about waste, fraud, and abuse—this is a national security problem,” Roman said. “Every misdirected dollar destabilizes conflict zones and puts American lives at risk.” Greene will discuss at length during questioning by members of the panel the multiple groups with terrorist links that received portions of the $122 million in U.S. funding. The links were confirmed by MEF investigators through U.S. government documents, USAID records, and other publicly available information sources. Among the groups is the Christian relief agency World Vision, which in 2014 sent funds it received from the U.S. government through the Islamic Relief Agency to a group formed by Osama bin Laden as a precursor to al-Qaeda. The money was approved despite protests from a USAID whistleblower. Another such group is Helping Hand for Relief and Development, which MEF investigators found was connected with the 2008 attacks by a Pakistani-based Islamic terrorist group that killed 164 people in Mumbai, India. Other groups benefiting from USAID funding include Lebanon’s Jamal Trust Bank, which is linked to Hezbollah, and Bayader & Unlimited Friends Association (UFA), which is connected to Hamas, according to government records examined by MEF investigators.
  11. Some more good news for Americans under Trump. On the same day this week that New Brunswick’s Irving Paper said it’s closing half of its operations in the province, Apple announced a US$500 billion investment in the United States. Apple’s announcement came on the heels of Saudi Arabia committing to a US$600 billion investment in the United States in January, and an Emirati businessman pledging US$20 billion to build data centres in the country earlier the same month. Meanwhile, the Tissue subsidiary of Irving, whose Paper division cited rising energy costs for cutting operations in Canada, announced a US$600 million expansion to its operations in Macon, Georgia, in late November. While the threat of Donald Trump’s tariffs on Canadian exports is garnering most of the attention, whether in the news cycle or amid the Liberal leadership race, an issue that may be getting overlooked is how the U.S. president’s focus on cutting taxes and regulations and using other tactics to attract business is impacting Canada’s competitiveness in getting investments.
  12. Can you show me any evidence that shows a clear majority of Palestinians do not support Hamas?
  13. Among Palestinians, it seems there is still strong support for Hamas and their ultimate goal. https://www.timesofisrael.com/liveblog_entry/poll-over-70-palestinians-still-maintain-hamas-correct-to-commit-oct-7-atrocities/
  14. What do the Palestinians think about a two-state solution?
  15. Palestinians do not want a two-state solution. They want a one-state solution. No Jews allowed, not a single one.
  16. We know that the status quo in Gaza does not work.
  17. Ah yes, the Khadr family. Known as Canada's 'first family of terrorism'. Omar Khadr, multimillionaire. Thanks to the Liberals. It's an honour that Musk has Canadian citizenship.
  18. Canada should not be giving a dime to the barbarians in Gaza.
  19. Ukraine drafted another resolution at the UN: US Votes Against Ukraine-Drafted UN Resolution Seeking Full Russian Withdrawal The United States voted against a U.N. resolution on Feb. 24 that condemns Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, on the third anniversary of the war. The three-page U.N. General Assembly resolution, as presented by Ukraine’s delegation at the international body, called for Russia to “completely and unconditionally withdraw all of its military forces from the territory of Ukraine within its internationally recognized borders.” In all, 93 countries voted in favor of the Ukrainian resolution, while 65 countries abstained. The United States and Russia were among the 18 countries that voted against the resolution. Damn. Surely the Russians would have had no choice but to completely withdraw from Ukrainian territory if there was a UN Resolution?😉
  20. I've seen a few pretty nasty comments in here. Where is DUI offender? Another name I haven't seen in a while is Dog On Porch. Does anyone know what happened to him?
  21. I for one, will not apologize for wanting to see the Russia/Ukraine war end. Ukraine cannot get everything it wants. The Russian military has been degraded with these huge losses. Who knows just how many casualties each side has taken during this conflict? Canada already has enough debt and we can't afford to keep giving this much to Ukraine.
  22. I'm Canadian and our current Prime Minister already has expressed his love for Xi and the CCP. I am no fan of any of those countries or their leaders One thing you did leave out is the West inviting radical Islam to it's soil.
  23. The EU can support Ukraine all they want. Money, weapons, they can even send soldiers since they are bursting at the seams with young, military age men.
