  1. I think Ford will win, but probably lose some seats. In my riding it's usually Liberal at both levels although last time a PC actually got in provincially. I held my nose and voted for for Ford because the two other main parties are even worse in my opinion.
  2. What has the Trudeau government done that could be considered as governing like Conservatives?
  3. Nobody can say that about the Trudeau government. It's all been far-left with them.
  4. Have you ever been asked to provide ID for anything? If yes, how did you react? Did you start screaming and yelling in protest?
  5. Yeah it's not like anyone has ever had their signature forged by someone else right?
  6. This is who is governing right now.
  7. How can mail in ballots be as secure as in person voting where ID must be shown? I'm not saying do away with mail in voting altogether, just that it is not as secure as in person/with ID.
  8. Mail in voting is rather less secure than in person voting. More room for cheating.
  9. I see Abrams has her name on a ton of books, many of the self-help and her 'amazing journey' blah blah. Books by her. Books about her. She is praised to high heaven and then some in these books. It is quite an amazing financial turnaround. She went from financial habits like this: The “hefty” tax bill from the IRS was $54,000, with a further $410,000 in liabilities, according to Fox News. She owed $96,000 in student loan debt and $83,000 in credit card debt, AP reported. To this: multimillionaire. Georgia politician and Democratic organizer Stacey Abrams has joined the ranks of thousands of politicians who become very wealthy in a very short time, but what sets her story apart from others is how she did it. On the latest episode of the Drill Down podcast, Peter and Eric are joined by GAI Fellow and former Congressman from Utah, Jason Chaffetz to unpack the new research out of GAI on Abrams’s business dealings during her time in the state legislature and how she hid her involvement. Abrams co-founded NOWaccount, a payment services company, in 2010—but with little success at first. That began to change in 2013 when, at the request of then-state legislator Abrams, a loan program was tailored in a way that made her company the only such firm of its class (and thereby extremely profitable). She became financially savvy literally overnight lol.
  10. That is quite a huge jump in net worth in a very short time for Abrams.
  11. How would you have answered that question during the Biden/Harris administration?
  12. Why didn't they catch this one before then? These were the same people that didn't want to even catch Hunter Biden lol.
  13. Everyone knows there is virtually no waste or fraud in government spending...right? Nevada Woman Pleads Guilty to Nearly $100 Million COVID-19 Tax Credit Fraud The IRS warned last year that the vast majority of an employment tax credit program it reviewed showed ‘risk of being improper.’ A woman from Nevada involved in defrauding the United States of tens of millions of dollars’ worth of COVID-19 pandemic tax credits has pleaded guilty in the case, according to the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ). Candies Goode-McCoy of Las Vegas “conspired with others to file tax returns seeking fraudulent refunds based on the employee retention credit (ERC) and paid sick and family leave credit,” the agency said in a Feb. 14 statement. “From around June 2022 through September 2023, McCoy filed approximately 1,227 false tax returns for her businesses and others claiming these refundable credits.” In total, the fraudulent claims sought more than $98 million in refunds, of which the IRS paid out roughly $33 million, according to the DOJ statement. McCoy received more than $1.3 million in these refunds and received about $800,000 in payments from clients for whom she knowingly filed fraudulent returns, according to the statement.
  14. Just burning comic books like that could be considered an extremely mild response by Muslims based on how many of them reacted to certain things in the past. I have to wonder how any American could be opposed to auditing and cutting what is clearly wasteful spending. https://www.msn.com/en-us/politics/government/americans-take-a-different-stance-they-support-musk-s-doge/ar-AA1zehjO
  15. Because if you are so concerned about trans rights outside of the US, don't you think USAID would have been funding that cause in those countries which typically really frown on those people? Or was USAID even more afraid of offending Islam?
  16. Some crazy stuff uncovered lol. Database Lists 12 Million People Older Than 120 Eligible for Social Security: Musk More than 12 million people in the Social Security Administration’s (SSA’s) database of eligible benefits recipients are listed as being over the age of 120, according to data shared by tech billionaire Elon Musk. Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency, or DOGE, discovered the data while reviewing SSA records for potential waste or fraud. “According to the Social Security database, these are the numbers of people in each age bucket with the death field set to false!” Musk wrote on his social media platform X on Feb. 17, sharing a chart of the various age brackets. The chart shows that there are more than 17 million centenarians who are marked as alive and eligible for benefits in the SSA system, of which more than 12 million are allegedly older than 120.
  17. Has USAID been funding that kind of agenda in any Muslim countries?
  18. Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be any appetite for change, as in cutting off funding to Gaza. They have no incentive to develop their economy as long as they get funded by the rest of the world. All they will keep doing is making babies, rockets, bombs, tunnels, and Hamas leaders will continue to get filthy rich.
  19. When you add up all of the 'chicken feed' the sum can be staggering. How does a transgender comic book promote US human rights?
  20. Transgender comic books. DEI in Serbia. And on and on... How does this sort of thing help American farmers? https://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/world/us/70000-for-transgender-comic-in-peru-1-5-million-for-dei-in-serbia-trump-press-secretary-slams-usaid-amid-doge-scrutiny/articleshow/117907246.cms
