I’d say that the EA and general reaction of the government to the protests are seen by half the country as a disgusting abomination of democracy. The problem for Canadians is that the media and government are run by a segment of the other half of Canadians. I’d call them the self-preserving elites who don’t really do much of consequence. The convoy did force government to back off somewhat.

Kids deaths are extremely rare. My understand is the health risk to kids and the general population of getting the vaccine are lower than if they didn't get the vaccine. For anyone of any population, if your health risks of getting the vaccine are lower than if they didn't get the vaccine, then logically you should get the vaccine.
