  1. Watching Freeland on the stand today was nauseating. Does she have some kind of mental problem that she can only say one.....word......every.......five.......seconds? Watching her break down and cry, saying she only invoked the Emergency Act because she cares about Canadians sooooo much.......just nauseating.

  3. Back in the day, we had our CO vist our outpost while on exercise , were we had two prisoners from our own BN chained up to a tracked APC, chained up becasue they kept escaping, we had taken off their boots and socks so they could not run very fast, refused to take them to the bathroom becasue they kept trying to escape while taking a leak, we had led them in their t shirts and taken their belt so they would have to run and hold up their pants at the same time. it was fall with frost on the ground, let's just say these guys were cold as shi* Anyways it pissed off the LT Col, he lined us up and shouted if your willing to do this to someone in our own BN what would you do to an enemy soldier that had just killed some of your comrades...this point stuck with me the rest of my career. sometimes compassion is the virtue that is the first one we forget.. I think compassion is dead today. My point is this those in this convoy were Canadians, yes, they were pain in the asses, but still they were Canadians no more or less than any one of those that lived in Ottawa. and if we are willing to treat Canadians this way, how do we treat others. i remember the vaccine arguments when there were talks about arrests, sending people to camps, with no compassion or total disregard to who these people where and what made them different than the rest of us... The event is over, but it should invoke discussion until we take away some lessons learned.

  6. I know i have seen the article posted by someone else, i don't mean to steal your thunder i just thought it could use its own topic of discussion. Today as they the committee was reviewing amendments, for the handgun ban bill. they conservative make a brutal discovery. Catching the liberal/ NDP is an act of deception and lies. but first i want to dial it back, a bit first. i remember a discussion i had on here about what was to be included in the original "assault gun ban" and the discussion revolved around what that included, rumors had it it included airsoft, replicate guns, pellet guns and BB guns, there was many articles out there about how large this airsoft industry was, so the liberals/ NDP back tracked on these few look a likes, the liberals are getting very good at this deception, today i found out that those were included in the amendments and are now part of the ban. if it looks like, feels like smells like a real military weapon it is gone, banned, history. skippin forward, today the committee was looking at all the proposed amendment when they came upon an Amendment G4 , which goes on to state all semi-automatic weapons that have the ability to have a magazine attached are now classified as Banned, this includes shot guns, bolt action rifles, .22 cal bolt actions, thousands of different types, that's not all, becasue it is an amendment it cannot have any Finacial means attached to it, meaning NO buy back is planned, just that they are going to be illegal hand them in thank you very much. The liberals promised they would not attack Hunters or their tools in any way, and here we sit, with thousands of new rifles attached to the "handgun bill". and what is really scary this amendment was backed by liberals / NDP/and Block. most of these banned weapons don't even look like anything the military has, they are banned becasue most are magazine feed, or could be modified to hold more than 5 rounds, or they are semi autos...like duck guns, or deer hunting rifles. It has nothing to do with safety and more about division. I wonder why they have to resort to deceiving the nation into believing this huge lie of keeping Canadians safer. And we wonder why Canadians have little faith in our experts who have been bought and paid for by the government to promote another boondoggle like this one. instead of pouring resources into preventing criminal activities, we as a nation like to punish ourselves by sticking it to law bidding gun owners. the point is that while nobody really cares about a few gun owners, but this could be about any personal property we own, and how easy it is for the government to take it away, with or without compensation. you have no property rights, And it is already happening in some cities as they ban fossil fuel powered tools like lawn mowers, leaf blowers chain saws etc.. Canadians will continue to stick their heads up their asses until someone slaps their and says you're going to feel some slight discomfort for a few seconds... Anyways there is some good news Alberta has already told Justin none of this is going to happen in Alberta, they would not use RCMP to confiscate or managed this gun grab and have joined the legal case against the feds to challenge if this is legal. in the first-place rumor has it Saskatchewan is also joining the fight. I am so done with this liberal / NDP/ leftist movement we need an election... and on this front there are rumors, that the liberals might be preparing for a spring election... It's coming from the conservatives, but i can't imagine why, it makes no sense to me, they have nothing to gain. unless they are cutting ties with the NDP maybe...anyways one can hope...

  10. Trudeau will be on the stand tomorrow. I'm finding him to look very psychopathic, too. The unblinking, bug eyes, the constant repetition of "Get. Vaccinated.", the obvious excitement he has with having power over the lives of the "little people".......really starting to creep me out. One of my friends in the US said to me "I think we're in trouble. Our president has dementia and your prime minister is insane."

  12. The source is an expert. White Privilege does not exist. Neither does Asian Privilege, (since Asian Americans are richer, have better jobs and more college degrees than white people.) You may not like the facts, but they exist whether you like them or not. And yes, there is such a thing as inequity, but today in America, RACE is neither the reason for it nor an excuse to whine about it. Some people are stupid. Some are smart. Some people are lazy. Some people work hard. If you want to RIGHT HERE AND NOW make the racist contention that being stupid and lazy is a matter of race, take your best shot. THIS person is smarter than THIS person. Race is irrelevant, except to racists.

  15. In comparison, AOC is a relative newcomer to the world of politics and is a media rock star. She has not shown any signs of great intelligence or even that she is of average intelligence. She is like an amoeba compared to Clarence Thomas. I have yet to see any real examples of white privilege either. It doesn't help the argument when certain wealthy, people of colour who happen to have a platform to speak on talk about white privilege. Like Joy Reid for example.

Every now and then they catch a big one. In any case to bring it all back to the topic...

  17. I find this hard to believe, we may have different perspectives due to elements or postings, I retired in 2015, and it was uncommon to find someone without at least 4 medals on their chest, and a good number with more than 8 most of them from conflict areas. I've also attended Brigade parades in Petawawa ont, and seen nothing but a sea of medals with the exception of the rookies. , while in Afghanistan there were lots of air force guys there i say lots maybe a couple hundred per tour. not to mention the navy guys ships divers filling in for Combat engineers EOD guys...and support guys from all 3 elements, considering the amount of people rotated in and put of Afghanistan was in the 40 k or more, not to mention all the other.

  19. Q Why do Canadians do it doggie style? A So they can do it and watch the hockey game. (Sorry. I couldn't resist.) In the state of Florida, there is a Stand Your Ground law, where someone defending his/her life with lethal force does not have to retreat before opening fire. Seems to have a chllling effect on scumbag animals who want to invade homes or mug people on the street.

  20. Whoa there. The actual lyrics of the song is.. "I don't give a d**M for all the rest of Canada, All the rest of Canada, All the rest of Canada. I don't give a d**n of all the rest of Canada, I'm from Saskatoon." As for the email joking about tanks, have we forgotten about the Winnipeg general strike so soon. The protest continued for 3 weeks. It was a street party for the participants who had 3 weeks to make their point. It was hell for the citizens of Ottawa and could have had dire ramifications on the country, but when the police acted, nobody was seriously hurt and everybody went home. It was a textbook crowd control. Some people chose martyrdom and got arrested. People who had their bank accounts frozen were those who chose to refuse to leave. They were given the choice and they made it. Former Prime Minister Trudeau was told a few years after the War Measures act was declared, that had he not beem PM, he would have been one of those arrested. To which he replied, "Yah, but I wouldn't have b*****d about it. My greatest admirantion goes to a man like Ali. He refused to join the war in Viet Nam. Rather than run to Canada like some others, he stayed and proudly went to jail. He accepted the consequences of his actions.

  22. I agree with a lot of what you say except the part about the extreme right in the conservative movement. These days, being pro-life can be considered extremist when it is not. I think of the Chretien/Martin era when they were very aggressive in trying to balance the budget, and they were successful. Many of us didn't like how they did it at the time, but it did work. Currently, any Conservative politician that would propose these same kinds of measures would immediately be labeled a right-wing extremist People and the MSM have always been far more forgiving to the Liberals than they would to the Conservatives, even when both governments are enacting virtually identical policies. Liberal energy policy drives me nuts. The same can be said for the majority of democratic leaders world-wide. They are moving way too fast without a reliable alternative in place. Yes to more hybrids, yes to nuclear powered container ships. Yes to more nuclear energy. I think it makes more sense to adapt to the climate than to squander trillions while China and India sit back and laugh. John Robson had a good article years ago suggesting that Conservatives might have more success if they actually were more conservative and not emulating the Liberals.

  24. Why do you think it’s fine for government to take this money earmarked for fighting climate change from those who earned it and give it to people who didn’t earn it? Yes it’s communist because it’s state redistribution of wealth through central planning. You don’t understand it because you think you’re a conservative when you’re actually NDP in your policy perspective.

  31. I wish I could believe that this inquiry would call out government overreach and result in a fundamental change for the better in terms of protecting the rights and freedoms of Canadians, but nothing has improved in the media coverage or government rhetoric. Canadians under these conditions will accept Canadians being banned from protesting, having their money stolen, and being beaten up by unaccountable police under the cover of an “emergency.” I just want for my kids to be able to live and work outside Canada because I don’t trust this government or the unquestioning indoctrinated public. It’s a watered down democracy that redistributes (steals) too much money from workers and hands it to those who don’t earn it. The elites pontificate about the next utopian scheme to tax and spend the money of workers that they don’t like or respect. The government’s treatment of the thousands of protesters in the convoy, the vast majority of whom were middle of the road Canadians, tells you exactly what this government is capable of doing to citizens. Freeland and Trudeau are the poster children of this total violation of constitutional principles. It doesn’t matter. Tonight the CBC will paint a sympathetic picture of Trudeau’s testimony. ExFlyer and Moonbox will defend it on here. I don’t even want to bother weighing in on this anymore. Canada is probably a write off. At this point I’m renewing my British passport, looking at property in the US, and hoping my kids set themselves up so they can get out the next time this kind of oppression or worse rolls out.

  32. No it’s not a “dumb” discussion. Canadian governments routinely steal money from those who earn it and hand it to those who don’t in some ideological “We know who deserved what” form of redistribution. That is exactly the kind of unaccountable interference one would find in an extreme left-wing country, because Canada is an extreme left-wing country. You’re just so totally indoctrinated in the idea that government should decide how you should live and how much of your money you should keep that you think all this is fine.

  38. I have had a fascination with the long con for years, ever since I saw The Sting. I have to hand it to President Trump. A long con is complex when aimed at a single victim but to con tens of millions of people at the same time takes real talent. The problem is, a long con requires precise timing. There comes a point when the grifter and his shills have to blow off the mark and disappear. In this case, that moment should have been on Nov. 7, 2020, when the networks called the race for President Biden. If President Trump had stuck to that timing, it would have been the scam of the century. He fell into the trap that falls on many grifters, they get greedy. Hubris is the hero that foils more villains than the Lone Ranger. I say this as an interested observer, and I am not trying to tell Americans how to vote.

  41. 1. "Correlates" but isn't known to be caused by. The relationship between variables is unknown, at least from this summary. 2. Why not ? Was that proven ? How would one do so. Once again, the totally USELESS nature of sociology classes. Every single one I took in college (not that I took a lot, just a couple to satisfy the science thing) links IQ to crime, as if the two were Siamese twins. And you know how Sociology types are: They say on one hand that they are right about everything and yet they also are the first to point the finger to the lack of proof for anything they don't like. It's kind of amusing to watch the same people who deny climate change put on a whole new set of clothes when they try to use science to prove racism doesn't exist. I'm pretty sure American Thinker is not suggesting that racism doesn't exist. It sounds like they are trying to leave race OUT of this discussion, or at least point to factors other than race. And the important question is - 'why?'. Why are we engaging in this exercise. I don't think anybody should discuss the matter until we explain why we're here... Why do we engage in this exercise? At this forum, that's like asking me why I would take a sub assignment of ESE pre-K kids. Why deal with retards? The why seems obvious: The subject of the white privilege lie. So far, you seem to be the only one on the other side willing to discuss it, or at least ask some intelligent questions why.

  42. As I read your mouth-crap I notice that you can't see the similarity between a "vax app" and a "vaccine passport" and the gesundheitspass. Shocker. FYI the vaccine passport and gesundheitspass were both tools used by the government to justify discrimination against a specific group of people based on false pretences. The fascist government in Canada scrapped the vaccine passport, but it seems like we might have a new vaccine-tracking app coming to our phones in the future, and there's probably nothing preventing the government from adding pseudovaxes to the list, which will enable them to discriminate again.
