  4. Irving is a company run for profit, Alberta Bitumen is a 1/3 of the price of Saudi oil, top that off with a nice grant to build a refinery and Ya mr Irving will jump on board with a huge smile while stuffing his pockets. It saves jobs out west, and it increases jobs here in NB, it is a win win... Or do we only do that for Quebec companies.... Not a whole lot of business sense required for that one.

  6. How do you know that Carter and Obama didn't cheat? Clinton didn't just cheat, he is credibly accused of rape. The Dems hung him on the lesser charge of cheating because it was politically expedient, just like they hung Cuomo for butt-grabbing to get him off the hook for covid murdering people in care homes and then covering it up. Trump isn't even in the top half of the population of the US re: obesity. LMAO. I never said their wealth was comparable at all, I just said that Trump doesn't pretend to live modestly when he doesn't, like Bernie et al do. And you talk about others being a joke lol. That's so f'd up and stupid that I'm just gonna leave it there without comment. I honestly cut off first part of this quote thinking it was the dumbest. I can't believe you were just warming up. I missed the part where he sent the FBI and IRS after Pence... Did you even accuse him of that? I think not. Again, such a sin. Call the waahmbulance if you can't deal with it. I never said I was religious, and I think that the fact that you have nothing to be proud of is worse than Trump's sense of pride.

  8. I don't think it will be a secession overnight rather, it will be a slow drawn out devolution as the federal government becomes an ever more dysfunctional burden provinces will simply start to drift like Quebec, it won't be a sudden withdrawal rather the provinces will start to defy Ottawa, simply by ignoring it because actually, Ottawa's authority is an illusion

  11. 1. You are not talking to a reasonable person. This poster has changed identies on this board, and in a previous iteration was heavily anti-gay and anti-human... Post with them if you're bored, I guess, but I offer to have a better discussion with you if you promise to put them on your 'ignore' list.

  12. 1. 2. Yeah, you are just talking from impressions here. Crime is down across the board over decades especially since they introduced the pill... Do you count Kelowna as a city because crime is pretty bad there I think. I'm not saying you are right or wrong but this needs a thorough analysis. 3. Absolutely. And your enemies to evidence are: (tied) Reactionary assholes & bleeding heart liberals...

  13. Not at all. Did you even read the story, no one was showing anyone their private parts. They'd be in JAIL if they did, not subject to School Board discipline. I even posted reason HOW to get rid of the teacher that wouldn't violate union or human rights regulations. I also fully agree that the Board seems to be chickenshit about taking it on, just like I've herd managers bawl that they can't get rid of a useless non-performing employee 'because they're union" or "because they're gay/minority". That's bullshit, it just means the Board/Manager is also too lazy to make the effort to follow the rules.

  14. The economy is not the stock market. Where do you think that money your paying goes to, taxes? FFS recently the gas tax went up two cents and the price went up almost a whole dollar. Speculation and greed in a field most working people can't afford to dabble in themselves. Of course it's the wealthy that benefit most, and that's the system you're touting as a solution. Here you are more or less claiming that welfare drives up the cost to you, when if you were just a peon with a hot dog cart, welfare people could buy one of your hot dogs. Or buy one you stuffed for 40 hours a week in the factory or owned the whole damn factory. Something Henry Ford knew 100 years ago. Now admit it, a UBI is a far more efficient way to handle gov't payments and quit dancing around the point with distractions.

It does matter, to get it out of the ground you need to pay Canadian workers for that, then Canadian workers to refine it, then Canadians to transport it, then Canadians to sell it , Not to mention all the work that will be providfed to build all that infra structure... all of them paying income taxes which support programs for Canadians...

  19. If Butts thinks that they needed bots to generate 600,000 #TrudeauMustGo tweets then he's completely out of touch. A more likely scenario is that there were 600,000 #TrudeauMustGo tweets and then Twitter put a lid on it.

  20. If the mysterious “handlers” did it, then won’t they just find a different candidate, since they’re the ones in charge? And why are there “handlers”? Why don’t one of the handlers just run instead? Are the handlers a bunch of 20-something’s in their dorm rooms? Has the whole Republican establishment been outsmarted by a team of invisible, undetectable college kids?

  24. A quarter million people tuned into Rumble to see Trump's Ohio rally on the 17th. Rumble is a Canadian company that moved to Florida to escape Liberal censorship and meddling. Doing well, I'd say... A thing people noted was how LARGE the Salty Army has become. If you don't know what that is, you're likely stuck in a media echo chamber. As Crowder leads in with Gowan. You're a strange animal. Got to follow...

  25. Well, to me it's not that a crazy person is wearing enormous fake breasts with giant nipples to teach school. It's that the school board is so bloody frightened of appearing even slightly transphobic they don't dare tell them to stop. The teacher is dressed like some kind of pornographic caricature. It's a bizarre sexual fetish displayed in public in front of kids. And regardless of how mature you think high school kids are, remember that some are 14 and come from very morally conservative communities. Regardless, this would be a huge distraction in class, and in this case a safety issue. Almost anyone can see the absurdity of this yet we have a school board quivering and wringing their hands and not daring to do anything but express their full support for a 'transgender' teacher. And it's that cowardice on the part of largely progressive politicians and bureaucrats which has allowed the more extreme demands of a rather shrill activist group to push past the boundaries of common sense. It would be nice if our politicians at every level weren't such cowards, but most of them appear to be. Is it in the nature of a politician? Have we taught them to be that way?

  27. It's actually sad. The only positive to come out of his awful presidential saga is seeing how long they've managed to keep his lights 'on' for so long. Most people deteriorate far more rapidly when they get to his stage of mental decline.

  28. No one said that Joe Biden masterminded anything. He can't even get the pablum off of his own chin. Presuhdent Teluhprompter is just following the script. The FBI has already committed actual, serious crimes and told thousands of lies trying to get rid of Trump. Of course he has problems. How many lies would the FBI have to tell to put you in jail?

  29. Had they not stolen it, there'd be no questions. However a lot of people saw those little red wagons arrive late at night. Not allowing scrutineers to watch the vote count should have been a clue. But you know...the heat of it all to get a result. The people won't allow that again...so cheat differently, Democrats.

  30. There's no "big lie", stop being such a child ffs . FYI if there ever was a big lie it was Russian collusion, when Dems and their FBI committed crimes to get warrants to spy on political rivals in order to overturn an election that was mostly fair, aside from all the previous times that the Dems cheated on it. If there was another big lie in our time it was covid, and the pseudovax. The riot on Jan 6th was small, short-lived, quickly condemned as it was happening by Trump & other conservatives, and non-violent. In a country of over 300 million, with at least as many guns, only a small handful of unarmed people did anything remotely alarming. The most idiotic episode of hypocrisy in the whole history of the world is Dems in 2022 acting like it's treason to question the results of an election, and acting like they got PTSD from Jan 6th. Every single one of those lying dolts supported the collusion scam, and every single one of them supported violent riots in other people's neighbourhoods. The fact that they experienced some rioting was just karma. They all deserved it.

  31. Yes, it is a global commodity but there are ancillary costs. It costs a lot less by pipeline than by ship. Plus, the key is reliance upon other country oil as opposed to self reliant on ours. Did we learn nothing during the pandemic being reliant on other countries for vaccinations and the supply chain for our needs??

  32. The point here is not whether the Founders of the US were Deists, Muslims or Christians. Many were Christians, of course. The point is that America was initially settled by Christians who came to America to flee religious persecution of OTHER CHRISTIANS. The Pilgrims in Massachusetts, or Penn’s Quakers who settled Pennsylvania… these were very religious Protestants who were persecuted by the state run Protestant Church of England. That is the precise reason why the Founders built a Constitutional wall separating church and state. And we should understand that this Wall exists to protect Christians as much as anyone. If the US government were to embrace Christianity as its state religion, how long until it starts discriminating against your particular church? If the US allows teachers to lead prayer in classrooms, what happens when it’s not the Bible used in your church?

  34. Oh yes, we are impacted by this war! What are you babbling about? Hello? Aren't we spending billions? You forgot that already, or you didn't know? Wasn't this war being given by Trudeau, as a reason for inflation? Furthemrmore - if Trudeau isn't serious about the sanctions - he should just not put any sanctions at all. Canada has been losing credibility with all the contradicting statements by Trudeau. No need to add another one. Anyway - I don't want to waste time on foolish, ignorant babbles. Think what you like. Have a nice day.

  35. Over 750,000 at the last count. It's more to do with participation than adoration though. ''I just felt I had to be here at this moment in history'' With the BBC streaming it live nonstop since the lying in state began it's the ultimate ''selfie''. Your own high res' clip of you bowing to the box to keep for all posterity. Even in death Her Majesty is fulfilling her duty as a tourist magnet. God bless her. London is going to be sold out for the Coronation within hours of its date being announced. There's probably money to be made gambling on the date and booking rooms now. Book a whole week and sell it off to some rich American two weeks before the day at 10 x the cost.

  36. I'll just stop right there and say BS, because evangelicals voted like mad for Trump and the Trumpistas in the PRIMARIES. It's not true that there are only two parties, because each party has primaries and big changes are made by how people vote in the primaries. As for this: "Democrats lean more to Socialism, progressivism (LGBTQ stuff taught in schools, trans people rights to use women's washrooms, etc., open borders, climate change radicalism, and the big thing, abortion, which is killing millions of unborn babies. " Hmm... So Jesus believed in Capitalism? Jesus would have stoned Lesbians? That's really an interesting thing: LESBIANISM is SUPER ANTI-CHRISTIAN... when Lesbianism isn't mentioned a single time in the Bible. ALL THOSE SINS, and Christians are focused on a "sin" that doesn't even appear in the Bible. I don't think transgenderism appears a single time either. So is this alleged "Christianity" really based on the Holy Bible and the teachings of Jesus, or is it really based on bigotry and hate? And Christians think "Socialism" is a sin, and they reject the teachings of Christ where he repeatedly says that wealth is good because it lets you help the poor, that wealthy people cannot enter heaven, that wealth belongs to Caesar, etc., etc. Yah... those "Christians" are really into the literal word-for-word teaching of the Scriptures. I already mentioned that Christ and his family were immigrants, and denied a room at the Inn so Mary had to give birth in a barn. The Bible doesn't teach us to close our borders, it tells us to open them. Sorry, it just plain does. But if you believe in a religion that says the Bible is sinful, I suppose that's your choice, but I think you should rename your religion to what it really is.

  37. I find it odd that after reciting some classic fallacies about immigration, you acknowledge that domestic economy would grow but state that only the corporation and boomer would profit. Why wouldn't the home renovation guy, dog walker, or chef?

  38. No it does not make the news when it happens, it is very common and saw it only less than 10 years ago, I also have relatives who had the same thing happen to them. It is also very common to have a dress code in many corporations/office environment. You know you are defending an adult showing its private parts to entire classes of minors?

  41. You ought to learn how to read. Stop looking at everything as your team versus the other team. It's not football. In this case, the "Liberal" judge ruled in favor of the "conservative" CIA over the "Liberal" New York Times. The lawsuit was between the NY Times and the CIA. The Times wanted to obtain classified information from the CIA, on the basis that the President disclosed it. The CIA refused to confirm or deny the existence of the material. The Court held that the President's disclosure, via Twitter, had not declassified the material because no declassification protocol had been followed. To wit: "Declassification cannot occur unless designated officials follow specified procedures. Moreover, courts cannot “simply assume, over the well-documented and specific affidavits of the CIA to the contrary,” that disclosure is required simply because the information has already been made public." Footnote: "Executive order 13,526 established the detailed process through which secret information can be appropriately declassified." Fat Orange Man has claimed that as president, he had an "absolute right" of declassification. Courts have already ruled that this is not the case. And, frankly, if you gave a shit about the United States, you'd agree that the President cannot randomly and secretly declassify things to suit his personal whim. As President, he is the servant of the people and he is bound by oath to protect and defend the nation. There must be some logical or reasonable purpose for declassifying material, and protecting yourself from criminal prosecution is not one of those purposes. IOW, "I declassified it because it's my absolute right and I said so" is not good enough, any more than, "I launched the nuclear bombs because it's my absolute right and I said so" is.

  42. Yet from his basement lair, Biden was able to secretly manipulate the outcomes of Presidential elections in six states so effectively that Trump’s army of Uber-lawyers couldn’t find a shred of evidence. THAT’S a badass! He’s 64 levels of 3D chess over your head, fascist. Sucks to be you, huh?

  46. I'm not talking about inflation here. I'm talking about government overspending, which Trudeau is guilty of. He was overspending before the pandemic and he's overspending now. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt and accept the COVID stimulus and lockdowns, but the way he's expanding the federal public service is just bad fiscal management - full stop. You're absolutely right that "Justinflation" is a circus act that every opposition around the world is using to attack its standing government, but there is at least a grain of truth to it. Running huge and unnecessary deficits makes the problem worse, not better.

  47. Jello's handlers stole the 2020 election is how the optics look to an ever growing angry crowd. They won't be able to cheat the same way so easily as Joe is now a liability and Kamala isn't any better. That's a lot of skullduggery even in a swing-state where things might still be remotely close.
