What better reason to enact the 'Emergencies Act' . . . ? 'Laugh Police' . . . yeah, the un~funny joke Canada has become.2 points

Meanwhile, as the LPOC continues their years-long assaults on free speech and dissemination of unpopular information, the left4rds are calling conservatives 'fascists'.2 points

true. Ambitious people say "i want to win". Competitive people say "And i want you to lose," Trump is both. Carney is neither comptetative NOR ambitious. He's an opportunist. An opportunist says "what can i steal for myself today without too much work, and then ''ll be gone tomorrow"2 points

Belief may be an ambiguous term here. We’re not talking about religious belief but rather an assessment of enormous amounts of evidence in rigorously peer-reviewed scientific papers that has accumulated relentlessly over decades. That evidence is overwhelmingly in one direction: man-made climate change is real.2 points

Agreed. You cant fact check someone out of a cult. The red hats political beliefs arent about truth, they are about identity. So if you think that you can show them the facts, and they'll wake up, thats not going to work because you're not challenging their opinion, your challenging who they believe they are, their identity. When confronted with the truth, the red hat brain doesn’t update, it fortifies. So when confronted they double down. Even when the evidence is undeniable. Thats why no matter how many undeniable facts you humiliate them with, they'll just attack with more moronic garbage. Nothing will change with the red hats minds till the cost of the lies becomes heavier than the comfort the lies brings.2 points

New York AG Letitia James indicted in Virginia after investigation by Trump's DOJ Virginia has indicted Letitia James for lying on her real-estate paperwork. She claimed the home was her permanent residence when it was not. Didn't Adam Schitforbrains do the same thing?1 point

We have several. The TMX is for oil. So why not spend 1/10 the energy griping to Ont/Que about using Cdn oil? Or a pipeline to the OTHER coast too? Europe imports oil. You don't like the idea of China buying it. So why TWO on the West Coast when the existing one isn't even fully utilized? Those would be Team Canada ideas rather than Team Alberta only short sightedness.1 point

I’m just supporting the equal application of the law. Yours is the devotion. Devotion to a weaponized justice system.1 point

Don't worry Shady... I'm fùcking with you. Your devotion to Trump and all things maga is and has been very obvious.1 point

I disagree with your premise. Sorry, when you referred to somebody breaking our economy i automatically thought of the Liberals.1 point
-
Ok, it just seems like you really don’t think she should have been charged, even though her case has significantly more damages than Trump’s case. For the last time, I’m not defensive over the Liberals who are responsible for actually breaking our economy. You’re the one who is defensive of them.1 point
-
Oh so you are referring to non net investment. That has to do with real estate and inflation.1 point

He’ll probably ignore all of the tax money Canada had to promise in order to attract any investment, when before that, investment came into Canada without tax money being necessary.1 point
-
He's playing a game with you. More money did come in because economies grew etc, but even MORE money went out. You're correctly talking net dollars while he's trying to suggest the gross coming in went up so you're a liar. It's dishonest. So he's going to claim you were wrong because 'More money came in." In other words if you give me 5 dollars and i give you 10 back he'll claim "why did you give him more money" without addressing the 10 i gave back1 point

You're underestimating the importance of getting actual criminals like Letitia out of the justice system.1 point

The only people truly responsible for breaking our economy are the Liberals. They have done more damage than Trump could ever dream of. And people like you have supported it. These clowns still don’t understand how foolish they look.1 point

There were no damages in Trumps case. Zero damages. All loans were paid back in full, on time. There are more damages in James’s case.1 point

What do you mean exemption? Prosecutors allege she saved $18,933 ($600 per year) through this "misrepresentation", including by securing a lower interest rate. This will be thrown out of court, if it even gets there... For a Canadian who complains daily about the state of our country, you sure do step up in defence of the guy who's been trying to break our economy. Most would say that's being hypocritical...1 point

But POTUS demanded Federal prosecution for less than $1000 just proves "vindictive prosecution." Also proves Trump doesn't understand MATH or THE LAW.1 point

800 million! 800 million! AHHH!!! What a twerp. Trump has forced your CNN, the MSN, to bend to his will. His presence and popularity has destroyed MSNBC. Not to mention the hundreds of millions paid by these fake news sellers for promoting...fake news. So bye bye Donna LeMon...bye bye MSNBC...and bye bye to divisive, hate-filled little sh1ts like you.1 point

Yes I did watch it. You're saying you heard Carney promise Trump that he would invest a trillion dollars in the US? Bullshit you did.1 point

Here's the difference, my far-left friend - when honest journalists get things wrong, they retract and correct. I understand this is a foreign concept to you, because you worship the CBC, who rarely retracts when they're wrong and when they do, they put a tiny retraction on page 87, so you never see it. Which is why you so often keep repeating lies you heard on CBC. And why you have to be shown over and over and over and over and over the truth and still don't accept it. Sam Cooper is not discredited because he made a mistake. He has testified regarding his investigations in front of both the US and Canadian governments. You want to disregard anything Cooper investigates because of one mistake and correction. Yet you swallow CBC and Liberals lies whole over and over and over. You eat their sh!t every day and smile and say, "This sh!t tastes great, I want more of it." You are the biggest hypocrite. Canada has been captured by the Chinese Communist Party. One whole province has been taken over by it. BC has been taken over by it, too. The CCP has captured the Liberal party (and certain other party's individual politicians) and you're totally fine with it. And here you are - totally OK with all of this this. Because Sam Cooper, who has been working on this issue for like a decade or more, made one mistake in reporting. One more thing - when I was in college, we were not allowed to use WIki as a source, it was not considered credible enough for investigaitons. Yet, I see that Wiki is often your "go-to" source. You're lucky I respond to your hypocritical, Liberal adoring, misinformed ravings at all, old man. Grow the fuque up.1 point

That's the thing that really bugged me about trump's case. You know who ELSE was just fine with bank fraud? THE BANK!!! They said they didn't care, they had their own assement and would have leant him the money anyway, got paid back in a timely fashion and had no complaints! There was NO VICTIM there. But the dems.... OHHhhhhh this is FRAUD (well civil fraud which is nothing like fraud but whateves) And FRAUD must be punished no matter HOW insignificant!! One guy here argued with me for days that trump's fraud drove up insurance costs for everybody!!! It was Terrible even if there was no victim!!! (not kidding either, this was his whole argument, insurance goes up even tho there was no problem at the bank. Unbelievable.) Now it's all "well there's no victim and it's not REAL fraud". If hypocrisy could produce energy the lefties could power the world.1 point

Deficits don't matter to right-wing parties because it's money borrowed from the rich that other social classes will have to repay—not the rich themselves.1 point

I'm inclined to agree. With Hamas left intact and bolstered by prison releases from Israel we simply enter into another period of consolidation... which will be followed (in the fullness of time) by another period of fighting themselves to a standstill. There are short term benefits here for all but the ideology remains. Hopefully I'm wrong, but I see this is a pause and not an end state. I was going write something a bit longer but this article pretty much captures what I was going to say in a more articulate manner than I could muster. Here's a quote (that resonates with me) for anyone disinclined to read it: "The West, and too often Israel herself, has convinced itself that terror is a grievance to be addressed rather than an ideology to be destroyed." https://nationalpost.com/opinion/trumps-mideast-peace-deal-will-only-lead-to-more-bloodshed?itm_source=index There's an African proverb that says: "he who forgives ends the quarrel." Hamas has religious objectives instead of political ones... there is no room for forgiveness and no negotiating with the remnants of it, or any of the prisoners being released for that matter. Here's another proverb..."a bird does not change its feathers because the weather has turned bad."1 point

If Poilievre Were prime minister there be no need for him to be down there because this would have already been resolved. Trump disrespected him to his face and treated him like an underling. It is plain to anyone with a brain that trump considers him to be an employee, not an equal There's no need to hope. We're already there1 point
