Enbridge sees strong demand in U.S., hurdles in Canada | Financial Post “We are going to be allocating capital predominantly in the U.S. until competitive projects in other jurisdictions present themselves that compel us to allocate capital elsewhere" all carney had to do was cancel the anti pipeline law. Instead he dicked around with some half-assed special zone nonsense that even a novice can see is going to phiss the first nations off and now nobody is going to want to put money into Canada. So all that talk of pipeline crap is going to come to nothing. Which he knew, he doesn't want to actually see pipelines he just wants people to think he's pro pipeline. So there's not going to be any new Energy Corridor, there's not going to be any new pipelines, there's not going to be new markets, we're going to keep selling our oil at a discount to the Americans and once again carney is basically bowing down to what the Americans want. Anybody who voted liberal in the last election sold our country out2 points

You realize these 'journalists' are all Palestinians, right? That they are thus required to say whatever Hamas wants them to say? That so-called journalists in Gaza have turned out, as often as not, to e members of Hamas? They are Palestinians who report what news Hamas wants them to. Oh? You've been watching? Show us some videos or pictures, please. Well... you are.2 points
-
Right. Gaza has a very young population, and Hamas has been in charge of their school system for 18 years, which means all those young people have been indoctrinated by Hamas. Hatred of Jews is prevalent throughout the Muslim world. It's sky high in Gaza. Many Palestinian civilians took advantage of the holes in the fences on Oct 7 to cross into Israel to burn, loot, rape and kidnap. Iran thanks you for being a good follower of their propaganda.2 points

This comment is simply ignorant. But it shows how successful Iran's propaganda campaign has been. By the way, the term 'zionist' is not a pejorative term, though the left and antisemites are trying to make it so. It just means those who support a homeland for Jews. Thus all Israelis are 'zionists'. Israel is attacked by Hamas, Hezbollah, and Yemen, all organized, funded, equipped and advised by Iran. And yet it's somehow Israel's fault for not dying quietly, for not being 'good victims'.2 points

Try again... The closest to 300K housing starts in Canada was 273K in 1976 or 271K in 2021. What's this Harper stuff....? Brilliant deduction that the cost of living was cheaper back in the late 80's. Good gawd little man.... seriously2 points

He's not much of a thinker. He's just a follower. Whatever his social media or "conservative" news feed is telling him about something is exactly what his opinion on it will be, and any "research" he does on it will simply be to echo and confirm that, rather than inform himself. If he devoted even 1% of the energy he spends ranting and venting his emotions on actually double-checking his work, his sources and considering contradicting information, he might actually learn something from time to time. Instead, he's proudly proclaimed that he won't do this, not realizing how foolish it makes him look. It's why he regularly gets caught mis-citing articles, posting garbage or gets bamboozled by AI-generated slop. If you devote 100% skepticism to anything that contradicts your worldview, and 0% skepticism to anything that confirms it, you too could live in a comfy bubble like Army Guy. That's why he and the little angry no-life are such pals now. Fox's 24/7 spazzing is justified by the fact that Army Guy gets some emotional support and validation. 🥰1 point

2015 Trudeau wasn't elected to force young Canadians to take a harmful injection in 2020, or to seize people's bank accounts for donating to a peaceful protest. He wasn't elected to subvert our judicial system to keep criminals in business. He wasn't elected to send the courts after political enemies. But you support all of those things. You don't think of fascism as the gov't exercising undue political power over things the gov't shouldn't be involved in, you think of fascism as "governments doing reasonable things that you just don't like". Ironically, that makes you a classic fascist.1 point

Well, not to nitpick but you're talking about an authoritarian or dictator rather than a fascist but your point is absolutely valid. Al Capone corruptally was the de facto leader of Chicago for many years and was well loved. Funded soup kitchens and everything. Caesar was much beloved of the people and literally was a dictator. The romans appointed him as dictator. It's basically w here we get the word from. Hitler was actually insanely popular for most of his time. Someone can be a despot, authoritarian, dictator or the like and still be quite popular. In fact it's extremely common1 point

And a genocide in which the vast majority of the "victims" were: martyred by their own side, or terrorists, who were actually intent on killing women and children themselves1 point

You would have to be 17 different kinds of stupid not to realize this is going to p*ss trump off, and that trump allows his emotions to affect his decisions and actions. This was the stupidest thing he could have done right now. I mean it's dumb to do it at all, but if you're going to do it and wait till negotiations with trump are over and then do it. This is the equivalent of telling your boss that you really like to sleep with his wife cuz she's cute while you're in the middle of negotiating your raise.1 point

What choice did Israel have? Seriously. And nobody should have created Jordan, Syria or Saudi Arabia. Anything more you want to complain about from the distant past? The only reason there are such problems around Israel is the massive, vicious religious bigotry and extremism of the Arabs who cannot stand the thought of a tiny state there not governed by Muslims.1 point

How many have starved so far? Oh? None? Oh, okay. Are you aware that the UN has been sounding the alarm for months now about the worst crisis of the 21st century, with a huge unhoused refugee population, starvation, mass rape, death, cholera etc? In Sudan? Probably not. No Jews there so who cares?1 point

Here's your concentration camp before the war. Looks like pretty much every Arab city or town, and one hell of a lot better than a lot of what you'll see in Bangladesh, Pakistan or parts of Egypt, Nigeria or Brazil. What starving civilians? Hours and hours of video coming out of gaza every day and none of starving civilians. You know what starving people look like? https://www.iwm.org.uk/collections/item/object/2050871101 point

This entire comment of yours is stupid. No excuse. You are repeatedly making vague comments as if authorities can in fact subjectively do as they please and it is myself and cdnfox telling you otherwise. No, law enforcement operates with the authority to enforce laws with force. The place to contest their actions is in court, but that doesn't make what they are doing right just because they are doing it. They can also break the law, make mistakes, and be wrong. But... this is you like usual just playing dumb and obfuscating. No, been pretty clear and provided examples. You can objectively say that using the word "green" is illegal and that objective measurement is that you said the word "green" but such a law is clearly stupid and subjective. As I have already noted many times and explained above, an objective measure doesn't change the stupid, wrong, subjective reasoning behind it.1 point

The Fat Fascist flaps his gums once again and threatens us over foreign policy. If this leaves any doubt whatsoever that the Mango Mussolini does not recognize Canada as a sovereign nation, you are a dupe of supreme proportions. It also shows the limp-wristed **** state of America where citizens of both Democrat and Republican leanings have surrendered the will of their nation to one man rule. No separation of powers, one man alone shoots off his fat mouth and says how and if every agency and delegation will act. Canada's decision to (when, if and under what terms) recognize Palestinian statehood has absolutely nothing at all to do with Canada-US trade. This is just another deranged rant by a tyrant to influence the talks because HE doesn't "like" it. It's understandable that Carney does not respond at this point in the talks so as not to inflame things, but he should make it clear to his underlings that they can and should tell the Fat F(ck to shut his mouth and go die under a rock in some fetid corner. And we all wait for Poilievre's response to this - regardless if the CPC supports recognition of Palestine or not, it is not about that at all, it is about political interference in sovereign Canadian politics. This points out once again that the vast majority of interference in Canadian politics, since this country's inception has not come from Russia, China or India but from the USA. This has only been exacerbated by Donny Diaper's major effort to turn his country into an untrustworthy and unreliable ally. Like is inscribed on the Peace Arch: Two brothers of a common mother, and Canadians recognize both who is the Big Brother and the number of big brothers that are outright arseholes.1 point

How convenient. The feds absolutely have jurisdiction over maritime affairs. They can also set conditions to financing. I'm not pointing fingers at the Maritimes, just pointing out your sense of entitlement that you are due something other Canadians are not for the same service and that they should pay to provide it for you. As a British Columbian I would love to see you guys get pipelines and terminals but it is not our fault if you can't or our responsibility to get you one.1 point
-
YOU need to whine to EBY, the feds and the maritimes have no control over your provincial ferry service...no amount of whining or crying is going to change that....prices for tickets here in the maritimes are controlled buy the feds....all maritimers do is pay until that loan is paid out... I could say the same, want lower prices on your ferries tell carney to buy you some....instead of pointing the fingers at the maritimes, that had planed and prepared a business plan to which the feds approved.... And yet here we are hoping and praying for a pipeline for decades now....remember Justine told the nation there is no business case for LNG exports....and not a single dollar is spent on one...and here we sit listening to you guys cry about a small reduction in fees....while you have what 3 or 4 LNG terminals that have had federal dollars spent on........1 point

Good Lord are you all still debating this? 1. The investigation into the russia hoax has been brewing for 8 years. More in fact. Personally...I hope all the perpetrators get to spend old age in fcking cages. This is not a distraction! It's necessary! 2. Jeffery Epstein was a CIA, MOSAD, MI6 OPERATIVE! He was also very unscrupulous, as was/is Don Maxwell's daughter Gizz-lane. He used sex with pretty young girls to entrap wealthy clients. He had learned how to hide money for these wealthy clients...many of whom were in the arms business in one way or another. It appears that Trump got wise to ol' Jeffrey's games and turfed him from his home. This is what we know to be true. The rest is pure conjecture. Personally...I think Jeffery "flew too close to the sun" if you will. He wasn't bright enough to know when to quit...when it's gotten dangerous... He was a slimeball who got what he deserved. But should any "list" of names with sorted details to ever come out...power structures all over the world would lose all credibility. Not a bad reason to bury it and hope all those involved learn the lesson. Ya...I like to hope...1 point

There is no wide spread starvation. They find the most egregious examples that are compouded by other issues and then you folks pretend like that is every young child there when it is not. You notice how these photos of starving kids have parents that don't look like they are starving? It is not to say there are not tragedies and they are heart breaking, where some people and some kids have medical issues compounded by the lack of advanced care. To sit here acting like it is some wide spread mass starvation is just a lie.1 point

Ahhh so four news organizations are reporting what's happening and you don't believe them. I think you're the one falling for the propaganda. Nunavut is a territory not a province. It used to be part of the NWTs. It's certainly a unique region in this country. So is PEI. You could argue that the Maritimes could all be one single province based on their population. You could also argue Saskatchewan and Manitoba could be one province based on its population relative to the top four provinces. You could also argue that Ontario could be three or four provinces based on specific regions. Who's the arbiter though? Why are there two Dakotas in the US? Why is Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland separate parts of the UK when the England is larger than all of them combined? Sorry for all the questions, but these issues aren't cut and dry.1 point
