  1. Testimony, under oath, is fake news? But I suppose an anonymous source is to be trusted and unquestionable?

  2. He has said he was going to just that, unleash all our resources and make our economy grow once again....i take it you don't like money is that it... He has said already he is going to cut foreign aid and give that funding to the military...more than they are getting with the liberals....who cut the military by 1 bil this year alone...and he has already said the military is not his top priority... You do know it is our nations responsibility for it's own security, not trumps, we have been the ones that decided to let that responsibility slide so you guys could have a few more social programs...well now trump has had enough and there is going to be consequences for being lardards... And who knows what it is going to cost to fix, but what i do know is the tariffs are going to cost a lot more...for you and me....

  4. It's about changing EVERYONE. You're trying to shoehorn your ridiculous terms into mainstream society, and it's pissing Americans off. My suggestion is that you keep your tranny agenda to yourself. The majority of America will not have it.

  5. I hope you meant that as sarcasm. Or did you forget Crise d'Octobre? My Father and Father-in-law left our base in the West for Montreal to be exactly that: armed enforcement of military law under the War Measures Act. The Big Turd is the only PM in the Empire to have declared war on his own country. As far as buy-back weapons going to Ukraine: only a total fool would suggest such idiocy. The logistics of supporting a myriad of different sporting rifles with non-NATO ammunition is simply ridiculous (this expressed by my Son-in-law, a retired infantry brigade officer).

  7. It's an old tactic. They start with a common, gut-level disgust and revulsion about some group then play up their impact and influence, even suggesting a conspiracy. They never engage in a rational discussion of rights, or trade-offs.

  8. I never have understood this animosity towards Transgenders for the past 5 years. Personally, I have met a handful of transgenders, but otherwise, it is a nothing burger. I don't have a strong opinion either way. I am also not influenced by ridiculous propaganda. Transgender people are not "grooming children in schools." In fact, I have never known any Transgenders in powerful positions. What I do know, is that the tactics of the MAGA clan to vilify this group of people that makes up roughly 0.5% of the population is eerily reminiscent of what Germany did to it's Jewish population (0.9% of the population) in the 1930s.

  12. PP is not going to cut any oil he is going to ramp up all our resources....oil and gas included....He is going to cut funding to Foreign identities, and organizations, cut some of our new social programs, cut the CBC, and if we are lucky maybe reduce the postal service to one pony and 2 riders...cut civil service numbers.... But until he announces his election campaign promises you liberals and NDP support will continue to guess, and speculate that the sky is fallen...atleast for the next 8 to 12 years... and once things get back on plane, a liberal will come in and wreck it all....

  19. Like what? Should we tell people that have never and most likely will never violate any laws by using a gun that they can't own a gun because someone else might? Maybe we should ban tvs and cars so they won't get stolen while we are at it. After all, if there are no tvs or cars, then no one can break the law by stealing them.

  20. Firstly, Singh's pension is not an issue. He will still be an MP and leader of the NDP after the next election. His seat is not in danger. But a more serious situation is that four of the G7 governments are in crisis. France, Germany, the USA and now Canada. It seems it is up to Italy, maybe Japan, and the UK to hold the fort.

As disgusting as anyone who would rack up a trillion dollars of debt might seem to be, remember that they were voted in by our electorate.

  22. Polievre needs to pay attention to Trudeau's situation. The Dept. of Finance warned the PMO not to persue it's reckless spending anf the PMO refused to listen. Trudeau is now burnt toast on the way to the bin. The lesson for PP is don't make the mistake of ignoring the advice of the professionals in the public service, They are the men and women who have decades of experience and know what they are talking about. If Pierre doesn't get rid of his illusions that he knows better than the people who know what they are doing, he will follow Prime Minister Trudeau into defeat.

  24. Oh, that's a given, but you apparently don't even have a high opinion of your own. You say things like "You've been given links" and suggest I haven't gone through them, but when I challenge you on your assertion, you say that it "doesn't matter anymore." I suspect it never did. I suspect your primary source is your own opinion, objective evidence be damned. Do people are just sick of dealing with your dishonesty. I'm going to assume you meant something like "Dude" instead of "Do". Anyway, you haven't provided any evidence that I've been dishonest. Personally, I think that everyone matters, even people like you who say things like this. These ad hominem attacks of yours are a real disgrace.

Much like my opinion that everyone that voted for the liberals, and NDP should be shoot with a bag of their own sh*t, they lack the moral values the average Canadian has, they support parties that have or are working on tearing this nation down piece by piece...they lie, are deceitful, steal, govern for their own benefits, wasteful of out tax dollars, and need the government to support their every whim....and your proud of all those things... the average Canadian is tired of all this bullshit....your time is almost up....your party had really wasted it's time in power, your choice of leader goes down in history as one of the worst PM ever.....and the NDP party has played a role in all of that.........our country over all is worst off than it was in 2015....And if you and your friends can not see that, again your mor0ns...

  26. I'm not offended by Trump's joke. If you pick your candidates mainly because of DEI that's your right. There is no getting around the fact that Harris was not a good candidate. Most Americans thought so too. Nobody has been able to name any notable accomplishments by VP Harris to date.

  27. This is more than just a bad policy. This is criminal neglect that led to the deaths of thousands of Americans. Next year, the House should impeach Joe Biden AND Kamala Harris and convict them in the Senate, thus keeping both of them out of politics for life and sending a message to the libs that we will not tolerate this any more. You know what, throw in Mayorkas.

  30. It was entirely coined because of feelings. And everybody knows it and everybody has been telling you this. The quote provided from the person who invented it absolutely demonstrates this. And it is not 'accurate'. It's a term that someone shoehorned in to try to get it to fit without using the word 'normal'. What's really galling is that you would even attempt to use "it's accurate" as an argument considering you're trying to claim that calling a biological man a man is offensive despite the fact that it's as accurate as you can get.

  31. Not really. My take on this is that we should simply bus everyone on unemployment or other government assistance out to work the fields until they find a better job. We can also offer work permits for folks who want to be here to work. Most of those here illegally keep their families back in the country of origin and send money back to them they are making here. We don't have to make them all citizens.

  33. Both our bodies and our brains are dimorphic (differentiate to male or female). But the developmental processes that differentiate a body and differentiate a brain are two different processes. In the first trimester of pregnancy, the body sexually differentiates under the influence of genes – and either testes or ovaries develop. During the last trimester of pregnancy, the brain sexually differentiates under the influence of genes and hormones – and either a male or female brain develops. Usually, these two processes are coincident – (male body + male brain or female body + female brain) and a cisgender person is born. But sometimes, the brain develops the opposite gender from the body – (male body + female brain or female body + male brain) and a transgender person is born. You can read about this online for free in the chapter The Biological Basis of Gender Incongruence in the book Human Sexuality

  36. It's always had an impact. It's just that it's become impossible for even the media to ignore. I'm fairly sure the large number of newcomers since the Mulroney government has had an impact on our wage stagnation and even the behaviour of employers. Ie, why train university grads up when you can just hire one of the flood of newcomers who's got lots of experience and will work cheaper? There's always been opposition, too. But that opposition had nowhere to go since all parties fully supported heavy immigration and none were willing to even suggest lowering it. Then, too, just because someone wants immigration lower doesn't mean that alone is going to guide their vote. People have lots of priorities in elections. I've never seen a poll that didn't have substantial opposition to heavy immigration. Usually close to half the population opposed it, often going over. Never seen an editorial criticizing immigration itself (as opposed to refugees, foreign workers and students). It's like it's a third rail. Even Postmedia only criticizes the latter, never the former. They all show a growing sense of discomfort with the levels of very foreign people filling the cities and not doing much to integrate. And some of them DO explicitly say immigration is too high, like the Angus Reid poll in 2018. No, man. It's not that easy. A bigger economy doesn't make it better. Bringing in lots of people gives us a higher GDP but if they're the wrong kind (low skilled) it lowers GDP per person and decreases government revenue (which requires them to tax higher income, ie, middle-income people more). That doesn't make the economy better at all. It makes it harder for young, inexperienced people here to find work and it pushes higher income people to go elsewhere. Lot of software people are working in the US because they pay better. They're replaced here by imports from India who will work cheap. But we don't have a more productive economy but a less productive economy. We have more people doing work cheaply which discourages employers from investing in new, modern equipment which would require fewer employees. We have a major productivity problem in this country because of a lack of proper creative destruction. Too much government interference keeping bad companies alive and flooding us with cheap labour so no one has to innovate. If I didn't say it here I said it the other day on another topic. Sure, employers will always seek to get the cheapest, meekest, most easily cowed employees. There's no reason the government should help them in this other than corruption. It's not good for the country or society. It might be good for certain members of that government when they retire or are booted out, though. I'd be interested to know where these people wind up working and for how much money and how that might relate to some of the policies they pushed while in office.

  37. Lol, the best defense is an offense ... but try making it believable next time. You're not fooling anyone. “Cisgender” originated in the 1990s – coined by a biologist. As a scientific term, it merely means that the sexual identity of your body coincides with the sexual identity of your brain. It appears that some cisgenders take offence to it, as if it is taking something away from them, some special categorization or privilege. But of course, it doesn’t. It’s just another biological term used to describe a person. I think at the root of all this anti-transgenderism is this feeling of being threatened by what you do not understand.
