  1. This is more than just a bad policy. This is criminal neglect that led to the deaths of thousands of Americans. Next year, the House should impeach Joe Biden AND Kamala Harris and convict them in the Senate, thus keeping both of them out of politics for life and sending a message to the libs that we will not tolerate this any more. You know what, throw in Mayorkas.

  2. The Thrill Is Gone: Joy Reid Loses Half Her Audience After Election - and We All Know Why – RedState MSNBC’s Joy Reid, one of the most prominent race hustlers in America, has seen a dramatic decline in viewership since the conclusion of the 2024 presidential race, losing almost half her audience. Reid’s show, “The ReidOut,” plummeted from an average of 1.4 million viewers to 759,000, according to the latest statistics from Nielsen Media Research. This represents a staggering 47 percent decline. The network's primetime lineup has lost a whopping 53% in total viewers, averaging at 621,000, and an astonishing 61% of viewers in the key demo, averaging 57,000. MSNBC's biggest star, Rachel Maddow, who is only on-air Mondays, went from averaging 2.4 million total viewers leading up to the election to averaging just 1.4 million, a 43% drop. People are fleeing the woke by the bus full. They've had enough. We may be seeing a fundamental change in America and the end of the woke era.

  10. The True Definition of Woke? Only conservatives seem to know. As for the depth of conservative knowledge...it's so shallow you couldn't get your feet wet wading through it if you tried.

  15. Woke has nothing to do with climate change. Woke is based on group identity politics. Wikipedia defines it as: "...refer[ing] to a broader awareness of social inequalities such as racial injustice, sexism, and denial of LGBT rights." So when you're making e.g. hiring decisions not based on merit but on trying to help "fix" racial or gender inequalities then that policy is described as "woke". The people who don't like the label just don't like those policies/decisions being criticized because the label is usually used in a derogatory sense. If people want to keep making (IMO largely cringe-worthy) decisions based on the "woke" precepts they themselves invented and/or are pushing then I see no reason why their own label shouldn't be used to describe these decisions.

  21. Ya I semi-agree with @Michael Hardner (gee this is becoming a habit...). Maybe you meant 5 million per year? Its actually about 5.5 million projected. Even if tripled that would be about 16.5 million per year. Perhaps add incidentals and/or costs to consumers and perhaps we come to about 30 million? Ish? I think trashing the OHRC completely would be political suicide for Doug...or anyone. Now if you wanna talk about scaling it back some...I'd be down for that.

  26. They should have been removed years ago. They might once have served a purpose. They no longer do except to allow activists and cranks to harass individuals and businesses without any personal cost. The only people who have to pay anything are those who need to hire lawyers to defend themselves. There are individuals who have lodged dozens of complaints against a variety of institutions and individuals in hopes of garnering money. Or just out of a sanctimonious desire to punish them. In this case, as they say, the process is the punishment. The Ontario government funds the Ontario Human Rights Commission to the tune of five BILLION dollars a year. It's an absurd waste of money. On the other hand, wasting money is kind of Doug Ford's thing. That and beer. If he has any other interests I have not noticed them.

  27. At the time I had zero sympathy for these people. As a law and order conservative I wanted them moved on after the first weekend. I found the abrogation of responsibility on the part of local police to be infuriating. And eventually, as I always expected, once the police actually made a move on them they left without putting up much of a fight. But over the past few years I have seen so many cases of violent people being released because the courts were too busy to hear their cases in a timely matter, too many cases of people who commit outrageous acts of violence being given slaps on the wrist because the criminal court system is now, by intent and law, racist. And let us not forget too many cases of people being arrested for acts of political (sometimes violent) activism only to have their cases dropped by a friendly Crown. So it's hard not to believe these people are being singled out for the vengeance of the government in a system that just does not give a damn about fairness, justice, or protection of the public.

  29. I think the majority of Trump's most diehard supporters know he is a liar, a cheat, and corrupt, but they don't care. He has created an enemy for them, and vows to fight this enemy for them. They know he is a dirty fighter, but all is fair in fighting "the enemy within." He has them convinced that he is "the chosen one." How else to explain the meme below?

  31. Excellent. We need to stay moderate. The USA is leaning dangerously into an area of history, where its left vs right, not too different than Germany (1930-33), where it was fascists vs communists. We should reject both ideologies, and preserve democracy.

  32. I've found animals that have had arrows still stuck in them normally in where the bones are large and thick.......and to be honest not that many, maybe two....one in the upper hip joint the other stuck in the hind quarters....we did not notice until we had dropped the deer with a rifle, later.... i've also seen animals shot with a rifle that got away or could not be found by hunters....Animals are normally pretty easy to spook, forcing a snapshot or worse, mostly the ones i've seen were shot just before dark making tracking that much more difficult.... That all being said most arrows normally go right through the animal, thats how much power they have...hitting one in the skull thats a ways off the optimal aiming point, might be a fluke or someone being stupid, sometimes you cant fix stupid... Me an a good friend once came across two moose hunters while we were hunting partridge...one of them said have you seen a moose with a gun any where near here...at first i thought the man was crazy, then he explained his partner shot the moose dead on in the upper part of the skull and it had glanced off the moose's head..., the round did not penetrate instead knocked the moose out...dropping him to the ground...the boys went in to take there hero shots, one had placed his rifle in the rack...both had one foot on the moose head the other on the ground....when the moose jumped up, looked at the hunters and well the moose went one way the hunters went the other....only the moose had even the odds and was now armed, trotting off with the mans rifle...what a nice treat that would be bagging an armed moose, meat plus another rifle with a story behind it...

  34. There's only one country and one direction from which we'll ever be invaded. In any case I've long suggested we simply build the mother of all cobalt bombs and tell the world to go pee up a rope. If they don't like it go make peace with one another and get back to us.

  39. I couldn't give a tinkers dam for anyone who moved to Europe or anywhere else. I only pay attention to people who want to fix things and improve them and even less to those who want to tear shit down and pretend who you vote for will fix everything, everywhere, all at once. And I'm neither foolish nor callous enough to think saving $10 to fill my gas tank is worth taking $1200 out of the pocket of some family that needs it to eat either. Neither changing the govt nor sucking up to the USA is going to build houses, make them affordable, lower food costs or bring a glut of doctors. Especially for one that squawks about defending our North due to the melting ice while denying climate change at the same time.

  44. I'm responding to this days later, but I think you're prevaricating. On one hand you're right. People should focus on what's important. On the other hand, we have an obvious case of people doing exactly the opposite, going nuclear on a nothing-burger and bringing government institutions to bear against people who aren't doing what they want them to. In a normal, reasonable world, the worst that should happen here is that folks view the Township of Emo as backward, old-fashioned, or perhaps a bit ignorant. Maybe if the Township didn't like the negative attention, they'd vote the Mayor out, or maybe they'd quietly appreciate it. It's up to them. Instead, now we are living through the batshit madness of the CHRC laying the hammer down and imposing fines on people for not flying a rainbow flag. If anyone is struggling to understand how a turd like Trump gets elected (a second time no less), you need look no further than cases like this.

  45. So we went from removing laws that banned homosexual acts because most people thought that they were unnatural and immoral to making the public celebrate acts that many people still think are unnatural or immoral, punishable by drastic fines and possible charges. Not even Sodom issued penalties for not supporting homosexual acts. Pathetic.
