Congress makes laws. We have a "Constitution," and that's what it says. 2) The current immigration law does not allow the government to immediately return illegal immigrants. There must be due process. 3) Because of the pandemic, emergency measures allowing immediate deportation could be imposed, but those measures were ruled illegal by a Federal judge once the pandemic emergency was declared over. 4) So Congress, realizing that we needed better laws and more funding to stop illegal immigration, agreed on a bi-partisan immigration bill, which would have given the President authority to immediately return illegal immigrants. (Are you following this, or are you too dum to get it? Cause it's very simple). 5) Trump, realizing that passing the bill would reduce illegal immigration, called his buddies in Congress and told them to vote against the bill, so that he would have a campaign issue. HENCE: Donald Trump is the REASON WHY we have so much illegal immigration right now.
