I can tell you that across the board 20% tariffs and a 60% across the board China tariff will vastly increase prices, FAR MORE than the inflation under Biden. Harris’ plan of targeting manufacturing in the USA is a far better way to create economic growth in the USA and without the tariffs we’ll be able to export those goods.

I can explain the economics behind that if you like but at the end of the day biden drove up inflation and that drove up interest rates, which will now lead to the economy slowing down and will put recessionary pressures on the markets.

I don't know where this CPC minority idea comes from. The seat count for the CPC is predicted to be 220 seats. That is one of the largest majorities in history. It rivals Diefenbaker and Mulroney's super majorities. The CPC has maintaines over 200 seats since Feb. 11, 2024 and is unlikely to drop below 200 before an election 11 months from now. An early election is not in any party's interest except for the CPC.
