It's not even accurate to say that he's "admitting to censorship". He was admitting to suppressing the truth for the FBI and for the WH This has NOTHING to do with mere censorship, and everything to do with the prevention of allowing the truth to get out in order to influence elections. No one would care if people's posts about "Lizard Hillary" were being de-prioritized or blocked, or if people advocating for actual violence were getting shadow-banned or outright banned: this is a completely different topic altogether. What's extremely concerning is that the WH and the FBI took direct action to suppress the truth on FB. When we talk about the possible evils of censorship, this is top-tier. This is just as serious a threat to the American democracy as if 10,000 fully armed insurrectionists attacked the WH. The US gov't can deal with 10,000 insurgents as easily as you and I can flush the toilet. When the WH and FBI are secretly conspiring to suppress the truth it's a whole new kind of animal that has to be taken seriously.3 points

If she's elected president, Kamala Harris pledges to spend hundreds of millions of dollars on the wall along the southern border — a project she once opposed and called "un-American" during the Trump administration. There you go. She's endorsing his no tax on tips and his border wall. She's practically endorsing him.2 points

Yeah, right, more like some left-wing bureaucrat who doesn't like Trump trying to abuse their authority. "The fact is that a private photographer was permitted on the premises and for whatever reason an unnamed individual, clearly suffering from a mental health episode, decided to physically block members of President Trump's team during a very solemn ceremony," Cheung said in the statement.2 points

I think we should try to understand where some of the resentment against experts comes from, and also how they themselves are not always above politicizing issues. Doris Grinspun didn't just come out and say that safe injection sites save lives - an objective analysis she's qualified to offer. She went political and came out swinging with an accusation that this was a death sentence (by Conservatives). There's an implied maliciousness to the decision, with no acknowledgement or analysis of the costs or the repercussions these sites have on their communities (something she's probably not qualified to offer). It's definitely not helpful when you have dinks like Poilievre doing everything he can to undermine experts for cheap political points, but out-of-touch academics and biased/self-affirming public sector reps do a lot to undermine their own positions.2 points

Anybody can read about how absolutely corrupt the FDA, CDC, NIH are - there's entire books written about it. There is a revolving door between these entities and Big Pharma - the execs go from approving the drugs to working for the companies who produce them and vice versa. This is the US healthcare system that RFK Jr. has been lobbying to reform and has teamed up with Trump to spearhead. I think it absolutely needs to be done. US citizens are amongst the most unhealthy populations on the planet, the most obese. Vaccines added to the childhood schedule have gone from about 12 shots in the late 1980's for babies up to 1 year old, to a number in the 70's today. For babies! In their first year of life! It's utterly ridiculous and has done very little to improve Americans' health. But it has certainly filled the wallets of Pharma execs.2 points

As Hodad pointed out, this loan program is minuscule. In California, there are undocumented immigrants who are 50 years old, who’ve lived in California since they were two years old, who have been working and paying taxes for decades. They aren’t plucking people out of the Rio Grande and handing them $150,000.2 points

The wisdom of this proposal aside, your "math" is off. It's not a gift, it's a secondary loan for down payment assistance and closing costs for people who already qualify for a home loan (financially stable, tax-paying folks contributing to the economy). The loan is repaid to the state as well as a share of the increased value when the home is sold. And it could add a relatively small number of plausible buyers into the market (adding demand) to increase prices slightly, it's not even in the same galaxy as a 1:1 price increase. For reference, in a state of over 39 million people, 1,700 of these loans have been issued -- total count for the program, none to undocumented, of course. So adding undocumented folks who are already positioned to afford a home in California means we're talking a very tiny drop in the bucket.2 points

Violins. I’ve identified some problems and solutions. Wait, did you, Hardner, Herbie and Exflyer help cause these problems? I was trying to tell Hardner but his head is still buried in the sand.2 points

indeed Canada being a monarchy, is a fundamentally anti-Nationalist institution Canada is the spawn of the British Empire, which was an anathema to Nationalism Nationalism in the Canadian context is the Fenians and/or the FLQ hence why Quebec is the only Nationalist region of Canada Anglo Canada, having abandoned God, King & Country, has simply been rendered into the Post National State on both sides of the border, depending on the season otherwise known in Canadian terms as being a Snowbird1 point

It isn't the "British" commonwealth anymore though. All members of the commonwealth are equal members. The British Crown in Canada has as much relevance as calling it the Australian Crown. Legally it is called the Canadian Crown and King Charles is the King of Canada. They're separate titles. Canada is no longer a vassal of Britain.1 point

Look at all of them. They all just take turns lying and regurgitating false narratives in every thread. For all we know it's just one AI chatbot telling all the DNC/CNN lies from 7 or 8 different username accounts. A Chat GPTLiarbot could easily spew CNN BS fast enough to keep a Rebound, robo, Hodad, exflyer, eyeball, DUI, and Dirty Dog account going. If you prevented it from ever telling the truth, and programmed it to use all the words with 6 or more letters incorrectly, you'd never know the difference.1 point

And it worked. Look at @eyeball As you've already posted, too - it went much further than just social media. It was the creation of the TNI (Trusted News Initiative) that made sure ALL media and news outlets towed the narrative line. "Safe & Effective" Anything other than following that script, was censored and silenced. Learn from history. The people doing the censoring have NEVER been the good guys. Not even once.1 point

He wasn't sure, he had to look it up He once said that time was linear and didn't change, i said it absolutely was not and that time was relative to the observer as Einstein's equations say and that time is not an absolute but rather it is dynamic depending on a variety of factors including the presence of mass and which time frame you're in based on acceleration, and it is as dr who put it, a "Big ball of wibbly-wobbly timey-wimey stuff" I think he got mad because he thought dr who was a real doctor and he was trying to find the quote before he realized i was quoting a joke from a tv show LOL i wasn't trying to trick him, i thought it was obvious dr who wasn't a 'real doctor', but you know how he is. He's so fragile! Anyway i got put on ignore shortly after1 point

I highly recommend the Netflix series about Wyatt Earp's feud with Ike Clanton. The normal movies that you see about the OK Corral saga don't even scratch the surface. One thing that's hard not to notice after you start watching it is Ike's uncanny resemblance to every modern Dem politician: He was a shameless liar he was descended from a Confederate soldier he controlled the media's narratives, to the extent where they would lie for him he used the court to go after his enemies he used terrorism to intimidate his enemies, like the Dems did with the KKK in the past and now BLM and Antifa even though he was the criminal, he had the FBI (town sheriff at the time) lying and committing crimes for him he burned down a town If that doesn't scream DEMI, nothing does.1 point

I don't blame her for telling the lies, I blame the MSM for pretending they make sense, and I blame cultists for believing everything she says no matter how stupid it is.1 point

Do you even bother to think about what you write? If you need downpayment assistance and help with a loan, you do not qualify for a home loan. If you qualify for a home loan, that means you already have those things. If you are a financially stable person, that means you are able to save money for a home loan and should have money to cover closing costs. I mean, what could go wrong with the state backing loans... it is almost like we learned nothing from 2007/2008.1 point

It doesn't really matter what the Bidens did now because they got away with it. Despite his blatant crimes against America, Biden was able to become president and screw the country for 4 years. The damage is done. Impeaching him now serves no purpose. He's gonna live out his days in luxury, and will just wake up every morning not even remembering that he was charged or convicted of anything.1 point

Who cares if the FDA doesn't recommend ivermectin for covid? It's hard to hold the FDA up as experts when they also approved opiods, Thalidomide, Vioxx and Gardasil. They clearly work for Big Pharma, not for protecting the public from bad drugs.1 point
-
When you think about it, for all the criticism of Donald Trump, he never pressured social media to remove covid posts he didn't like. Marion Gruber and Phil Krause at the FDA, who, after seeing the data, resigned because they couldn't go along with young people getting boosters, did not resign under Trump's administration, but when the Biden administration wanted to push boosters for all.1 point

You're right. Totally unfair. We should start having people stand trial in the jurisdictions in which the crimes were committed to avoid any appearance of bias.1 point

LOL again just repeating that doesn't make it true I posted the specific laws and cites. Sorry kiddo you're in the wrong here. The gov't says so, the dictionary says so, common sense says so. Hard fail on your part So now you're butt hurt and the only thing you have left is posting little down arrows to make yourself feel like somehow you can fight back against the mean person who beat you up so bad. It's like hearing you wimper every time you do it ? And i see you're in denial with @User and sticking your head in the sand with your fingers in your ears with @WestCanMan So denial, whimpering subservient behavior, and refusal to face the facts. It was. Probably more profitable too. I delivered 80 to 100 newspapers up and down a couple of blocks when I was 11 - 13 growing up in Toronto. I raked some of my customers leaves and shovelled their snow too. Being a dog walker never occurred to me. Seems like a natural for a little go getter though. Do they even have paperboys anymore? I was one of the original bicycle couriers down around King and Yonge St between Jarvis and York. On one of these with a basket hanging off the handlebars. They don't make them like they used too.1 point

Hm.... so you have no idea why revisions are done. that's what I thought. Did not expect you to be rational. My bad. Keep in mind that the benchmarking process dates back to 1940... long before the liberals that you hate existed. The revisions to the LAUS and CES data are simple math. They are estimates and so new information changes the estimates.1 point
