It's not even accurate to say that he's "admitting to censorship". He was admitting to suppressing the truth for the FBI and for the WH This has NOTHING to do with mere censorship, and everything to do with the prevention of allowing the truth to get out in order to influence elections. No one would care if people's posts about "Lizard Hillary" were being de-prioritized or blocked, or if people advocating for actual violence were getting shadow-banned or outright banned: this is a completely different topic altogether. What's extremely concerning is that the WH and the FBI took direct action to suppress the truth on FB. When we talk about the possible evils of censorship, this is top-tier. This is just as serious a threat to the American democracy as if 10,000 fully armed insurrectionists attacked the WH. The US gov't can deal with 10,000 insurgents as easily as you and I can flush the toilet. When the WH and FBI are secretly conspiring to suppress the truth it's a whole new kind of animal that has to be taken seriously.3 points

If she's elected president, Kamala Harris pledges to spend hundreds of millions of dollars on the wall along the southern border — a project she once opposed and called "un-American" during the Trump administration. There you go. She's endorsing his no tax on tips and his border wall. She's practically endorsing him.2 points

Yeah, right, more like some left-wing bureaucrat who doesn't like Trump trying to abuse their authority. "The fact is that a private photographer was permitted on the premises and for whatever reason an unnamed individual, clearly suffering from a mental health episode, decided to physically block members of President Trump's team during a very solemn ceremony," Cheung said in the statement.2 points

I think we should try to understand where some of the resentment against experts comes from, and also how they themselves are not always above politicizing issues. Doris Grinspun didn't just come out and say that safe injection sites save lives - an objective analysis she's qualified to offer. She went political and came out swinging with an accusation that this was a death sentence (by Conservatives). There's an implied maliciousness to the decision, with no acknowledgement or analysis of the costs or the repercussions these sites have on their communities (something she's probably not qualified to offer). It's definitely not helpful when you have dinks like Poilievre doing everything he can to undermine experts for cheap political points, but out-of-touch academics and biased/self-affirming public sector reps do a lot to undermine their own positions.2 points

Anybody can read about how absolutely corrupt the FDA, CDC, NIH are - there's entire books written about it. There is a revolving door between these entities and Big Pharma - the execs go from approving the drugs to working for the companies who produce them and vice versa. This is the US healthcare system that RFK Jr. has been lobbying to reform and has teamed up with Trump to spearhead. I think it absolutely needs to be done. US citizens are amongst the most unhealthy populations on the planet, the most obese. Vaccines added to the childhood schedule have gone from about 12 shots in the late 1980's for babies up to 1 year old, to a number in the 70's today. For babies! In their first year of life! It's utterly ridiculous and has done very little to improve Americans' health. But it has certainly filled the wallets of Pharma execs.2 points

As Hodad pointed out, this loan program is minuscule. In California, there are undocumented immigrants who are 50 years old, who’ve lived in California since they were two years old, who have been working and paying taxes for decades. They aren’t plucking people out of the Rio Grande and handing them $150,000.2 points

The wisdom of this proposal aside, your "math" is off. It's not a gift, it's a secondary loan for down payment assistance and closing costs for people who already qualify for a home loan (financially stable, tax-paying folks contributing to the economy). The loan is repaid to the state as well as a share of the increased value when the home is sold. And it could add a relatively small number of plausible buyers into the market (adding demand) to increase prices slightly, it's not even in the same galaxy as a 1:1 price increase. For reference, in a state of over 39 million people, 1,700 of these loans have been issued -- total count for the program, none to undocumented, of course. So adding undocumented folks who are already positioned to afford a home in California means we're talking a very tiny drop in the bucket.2 points

Violins. I’ve identified some problems and solutions. Wait, did you, Hardner, Herbie and Exflyer help cause these problems? I was trying to tell Hardner but his head is still buried in the sand.2 points

lol yeah you can feel the proper respect Do...do you not understand the difference between going to a memorial service as part of one's official duties and staging one for a campaign event/photo op? Of course you don't, you're super retarded.1 point

What does that have to do with her not showing up? She absolutely can be there. And Trump didn't campaign. He showed up, paid his respects and left. There was nothing on her schedule. She hasn't done anything yet. She's not even campaigning. Apparently she's preparing for a 15 min interview with her emotional support candidate because the softball questions CNN will lob at her are too hard. Kind of like that dinner that was so hard she had to have mock dinners to prepare. I mean, don't you feel the least bit dirty schilling for Harris like this?1 point

The point, you dumb Nazi f*ck, is that white people don't have racial solidarity because white people don't have a shared culture and history. "White" is a broad category that includes a whole shitload of different ethnic groups that have historically hated each other.1 point

You're responding to someone who is not a conservative as if he was one. Mulroney, Churchill and Thatcher were conservatives. Franco, Pinochet and Mussolini were not. Don't give credibility to their bullshit game.1 point

Planned Parenthood Doctor Admits To Selling Aborted Baby Body Parts (Disturbing Video!) Psalms 36:1, “The transgression of the wicked saith within my heart, that there is no fear of God before his eyes.” http://www.lovethetruth.com/jis_images/slaughtered_child-abortion.jpg According to the Taxpayer's Federation of Canada, they have mentioned on their website that our own dear Marxist dictator in Ottawa has been sending billions of out tax dollars to other countries to help promote abortion. The more that this buffoon in Ottawa keeps borrowing money from the banksters, the more inflation will keep going higher. This is your tax dollars at work. ☹️1 point

Why? I asked you that point blank and you've got no answer. Why is it disgraceful? What is disgraceful about it? What is the end result that is negative? You DO NOT think it's "disgraceful". YOU just want to hate on Republicans and you see this as a way to do so. You're a complete hypocrite. If you can't answer the simple question WHY then you're full of crap and you're only politically posturing.1 point

You won't even bother responding to my numerous examples and comments about how not everyone who dies is from voluntary ingestion of a dangerous and illegal drug. Even then... your big point is that it doesn't matter that people die from addiction because at some point they started it? Really?1 point

I highly recommend the Netflix series about Wyatt Earp's feud with Ike Clanton. The normal movies that you see about the OK Corral saga don't even scratch the surface. One thing that's hard not to notice after you start watching it is Ike's uncanny resemblance to every modern Dem politician: He was a shameless liar he was descended from a Confederate soldier he controlled the media's narratives, to the extent where they would lie for him he used the court to go after his enemies he used terrorism to intimidate his enemies, like the Dems did with the KKK in the past and now BLM and Antifa even though he was the criminal, he had the FBI (town sheriff at the time) lying and committing crimes for him he burned down a town If that doesn't scream DEMI, nothing does.1 point

Yeah, they were not "forced," but if they wanted to live their lives with normalcy, the restrictions did, in fact, force them. Want to travel? Want to stay in the military? You sitting here acting like that is not forcing people is dumb and dishonest. Nevermind, Biden tried to do far more to almost everyone in the country with his illegal / Unconstitutional employer mandate through OSHA. Yes, include the 50+ group and the vast majority of deaths were 50+ and many related to other mitigating health factors. The point remains the same, those under 40 and in good health had almost no risk from COVID being anything serious. Wait... you still think people should be testing? FFS, why are you not hiding in your basement in a HAZMAT suit then. The vaccine doesn't prevent spread either, it only helps to mitigate the symptoms. If your Grandmother is vaccinated, then that should help her. They are only like 50% effective in preventing infection for crying out loud. So, flip a coin, that is how much benefit demanding that 16 year old be vaccinated would do for you.1 point

Ah, but Harris is different, jackass/dumbass; she's a money grubbing whore - much more so than the typical candidate. Her piece of shit website says it all.1 point

I think it is disgraceful that any person in America thinks it’s ok for a Supreme Court Justice to accept $4 million in “gifts,” especially when the combat is that Sotomayor requires that groups buy 600 returnable copies of her children’s book in return for a speaking engagement. If she makes $2 a book, that’s only a $1,200 honoraria. Donald and Melania have frequently taken home six-figure checks for speaking.1 point

Not what she talked about, but also, no, she didn't. Assuming she voted in the primary her vote helped send a delegate to the convention. Once Biden dropped out that delegate was free to vote for a new nominee. And in this case most voted for Harris. She didn't lose her right to vote. The candidate she supported dropped out.1 point

It doesn't really matter what the Bidens did now because they got away with it. Despite his blatant crimes against America, Biden was able to become president and screw the country for 4 years. The damage is done. Impeaching him now serves no purpose. He's gonna live out his days in luxury, and will just wake up every morning not even remembering that he was charged or convicted of anything.1 point

well, Canada & India joined the British Empire on the same day by the Treaty of Paris 1763 to end the Seven Years War so a Punjabi Sikh is technically just as British as the next Canadian, any way you slice it now, if you are abandoning the British Empire, that's fair enough but that basically renders you into an American by default to include the fact that Paul Bunyan was an American invention from Minnesota1 point

You're right. Totally unfair. We should start having people stand trial in the jurisdictions in which the crimes were committed to avoid any appearance of bias.1 point

Lol. She wrote multiple NY Times Bestseller books that did well enough to earn $3m, right? You must have very high standards for "doing well." And doing the work to earn money as an author is decidedly different, is it not, than receiving lavish gifts from politically interested billionaires? There is no evidence of Biden's corruption. There are tons of unfounded accusations from the Republicans, but like Trump's secret evidence of election fraud, nobody has actually produced anything.1 point

I remember when Obama gave a State of the Union Address and took the Supreme Court to task for their ruling in Citizen’s United. And I remember the Republicans pretending to be so shocked that a President would complain about a Supreme Court decision. One party wants campaign finance reform and donation limits, and another who thinks that if oligarchs can’t donate $50 million a month to political campaigns, it’s depriving them of free speech.1 point

OK I stand corrected. She's not a fake, she's just very, very dumb. I mean she says "throughout my career I've mostly done campaign fundraising" and yet somehow she's surprised that campaign fundraising involves asking people for money?1 point

It is interesting how some pretend to be rational and then their inner conspiracy theorist comes out when the results do not line up right. The benchmark process when it comes to CES and LAUS is decades old. I could supply all sorts of data to back this up. Every February and April, we revise the past year based on new information.1 point
