The Conservatives spent the last 14 years not being conservative, and allowing government bureaucracy and deficits to run wild. The police spent far too much of their time hunting down people who dared to misgender people or said something rude on the internet and not nearly enough going after knife crime. The NHS is falling apart, burdened with massive bureaucracy the Tories showed no interest in cutting. They campaigned on limiting legal immigration to 100k a year and stopping illegal immigration. Instead, legal immigration grew to 700k a year and they did nothing about illegal immigration. The results of all this are similar to here: crime out of control, housing shortages and cost rises, and an overburdened healthcare system on the verge of collapse. They didn't deserve to get in again. And their left-wing government made it much easier to vote in Labour on the assumption they probably couldn't get any further Left or be any more incompetent than the Tories. I doubt it will help much, though. Labour are not the party to slash bureaucracy and regulation, especially when most of those bureaucrats are unionized. Nor are they likely to cut the deficit.

I am not even sure what point you are really pressing at here. NATO and US needs to continue to do more and keep the pressure on. Ukraine needs to keep fighting, and take more of the war to Russians. Fight smart, make Russia pay in as much blood as you can.

Honestly, get a Toyota hybrid if you have the choice. Don't settle for less. They've been making them for 20 years now and you get the best of both worlds: your vehicle recovers the energy used in braking by converting it to potential energy instead of just dissipating heat into the atmosphere, so city fuel economy is excellent you get the quick refuelling times and unlimited range of a gas vehicle (stations are everywhere and it takes 1 minute to refuel) Additionally, they're cheap, they last for hundreds of thousands of Km, and their resale value is unbelievable. There may be a wait-list for a Highlander hybrid, but that's one that they've made for 20 years and like I said, the resale is incomparable with other vehicles.

It's not that bad. I mean it's not good, don't get me wrong, but it's not that bad Trump just has to reign in the gov't spending which props up a false economy, stimulate business investment and the like and let the market do it's job. There might be a slowdown in there for a little while as the hangover when the drunken spending stops, but within 4 years its quite possible to get inflation back under control and get jobs moving. He cleaned up the border in less time than that last time, and while i doubt it'll be perfect he can vastly improve it again fairly quickly. It's kind of like us here in canada - justin's so bad that just showing up and not being that stupid will make PP look like some sort of financial genius in comparison We've got a LOT further to go than the states of course but the principle's the same. The two big questions are going to be "will he control the house and senate" and "how agressive are the dems going to be to create more civil unrest like we saw them do in trump's last term?" If trump gets blocked in the congress or the senate then it gets a lot harder to make things happen, and if the dems are out there pushing for another 6 billion in damages and disruptions in major cities again that kind of instability can create issues.

There is no connection between Fascism and social Convservatism. I don't know what your definition of social Conservatism would be but it must be some kind of woke or Communist false definition. Social Conservatism is not extreme right wing either. Ordinary conservatism could be described as right of centre on the political spectrum and social Conservatism is just a part of right wing beliefs but encompasses people who are Christians and believe in Christian principles.
