Since 2019, Joe Biden has repeatedly distanced himself from his family’s business dealings, saying that he has never so much as discussed them with his relatives or with anyone else. But House impeachment inquiry interviews, public records and emails reviewed by POLITICO show that members of his inner circle were regularly enmeshed in those dealings: Many of the president’s closest staffers and advisers have doubled as his relatives’ business associates, both during and after their stints working for the man at the center of the Biden family orbit. The most corrupt president is our time is being forced out by his own party. They just don't want to admit it, so they leak this info to make it seem like it's just politics moving Joe out. He will be removed at the DNC convention.3 points

You’re naive and reckless here. The agenda is clear: Teach children that non-biological gender and multiple forms of sexuality are to be affirmed and celebrated, whether or not such views violate the moral or religious beliefs of parents or science itself. This isn’t a maybe. This is the reality in almost all public schools. We don’t allow prayer but we put up pride flags. I understand the argument that neither should be mandatory, but to depose Christianity and elevate this dubious grab bag of identities and orientations is odd. To make it part of the curriculum is a social engineering experiment on kids and society that hasn’t happened in any successful civilization. No thanks. More than enough rights are already granted to the LGBTQ2S+ “community”. Female sports, religious people, science-minded people, and free speech have taken serious blows from which we may not recover.3 points

Not quite accurate. Which is why a lot of parents are starting to get upset. In fact you're quite right that they don't force people to go to Santa Claus or Greek festivals or Hanukkah or anything like that. But in fact they are demanding people take Part in pride week in the schools including teachers who may feel otherwise. Which is why you're not seeing a backlash against santa or the Greeks but you are seeing one against transgender and gay pride events. Frankly if the gays just kept their festivals and such to themselves the same way everybody else tries to do then it wouldn't be an issue but they are actually trying to force kids to participate. Their entire argument is that it is somehow inclusive. Nothing can be further from the truth but that's their argument.3 points

Do you know how to distinguish right from wrong? Invading a sovereign nation, committing war crimes, raping and killing women and children, and kidnapping thousands of Ukrainian children and forcing them into Russia is justified because Ukraine is corrupt??? Didn't your parents ever teach you morality?2 points

We give one day in June to honour the over 4000 men that gave their lives to begin the ending of WWII. We give one day in November to honour the deaths of over 8 million people that sacrificed their lives in 20thy century wars. Yet, we give an entire month to celebrate and fete those that decided to exercise alternative sexual orientation, desires and, deviations that do zero for society except demand recognition. WTF!!!2 points

https://www.foxnews.com/media/ohio-sheriff-fed-up-crime-stemming-from-border-crisis-calls-death-penalty-renewal Ohio sheriff fed up with crime stemming from border crisis calls for death penalty renewal An Ohio sheriff said he supported the renewal of the death penalty for certain crimes as the state is ravaged by nefarious activity stemming from the porous southern border in an interview with Fox News Digital. Butler County Sheriff Richard Jones, drew a connection between President Biden's border policies and an uptick in mayhem from illegal immigrants, which he said cost his taxpayers $4 million to incarcerate them. "I am angry," Jones said, adding he could go "on and on" about the destruction caused by illegal immigrants. "People are fed up, and we want something done. And I don't know that we can stand President Biden being here. And this is just a sample of what he's done. Lord, help us all." Over the last three years, Jones said 1,000 illegal immigrants were thrown in his jail for committing 2,000 crimes, many violent in nature. "We had one guy that was deported eight times. He was in my jail under eight different names, and that's what we know of," Jones told Fox News Digital. "He's here. He's committed murder while he's here. And we believe that this isn't the first time he's committed murder. And we've had people that have been hit with vehicles killed. We've had people that have been stabbed. So the crime is increasing." The sheriff recounted a few incidents that haunted him. One incident was when an illegal immigrant took a 9-year-old off her bicycle and molested her. Another is about a paraplegic who was hit by an illegal immigrant, who fled the scene. As for those who say that homegrown citizens also commit crimes, Jones responded, "I don't need any extra crime coming from other countries where they empty their prisons out." Another reason why UNELECTED JOE is going to be voted out of office. THIS SHIT is ALL BIDEN'S FAULT.1 point

I think it's the younger ones who are more prudish. Every Pride event I've ever gone to, the people who were really flaunting it were usually the older folks because they're the ones who know what Pride was like before it went corporate.1 point

Because the point was that the defense team had their star attorney publicly contradicting Donald's whining about the judge for almost a year, and he was never fired. In in the real world, this would undermine the argument, but in the reality distortion bubble, it fades from view along with the fact that Donald cries wolf and complains about the judge/jury/prosecutor etc as a matter of habit. All you're doing here is proving that you don't actually know what you're talking about: § 175.10 Falsifying business records in the first degree. A person is guilty of falsifying business records in the first degree when he commits the crime of falsifying business records in the second degree, and when his intent to defraud includes an intent to commit another crime or to aid or conceal the commission thereof. The elevating crimes technically don't even need to have been committed at all, as long as you can prove beyond reasonable doubt that was the intention. Intention is important. It's what can elevate something like trespassing from a simple fine or misdemeanor to a serious felony. If you're caught trespassing in a Balaclava with bolt-cutters and a gun, now you're in the shit.1 point

I don't think they are under any obligation--or that there should be any expectation--that they provide "October surprise" campaign aid to candidates. Especially when they don't actually know and don't have the details. Comey made that "mistake" in 2016 and they seem to have learned from it. Remember that the FBI knew what the FBI had, but they didn't necessarily know what Giuliani actually had, or what condition it was in or what claims he would make about the contents. There is no reason for the FBI to give Giuliani and the NY post some kind of blanket endorsement for whatever they might say. The custody and provenance of that information ended up taking months to work out. And it turns out there was nothing incriminating Joe Biden in any way. So if the FBI had acted rashly to add fuel to Giuliani's claims it could have, in a repeat of 2016, interfered in the election. With just weeks to go before voting day, the FBI absolutely did the right thing to not endorse Giuliani's version.1 point

And shelf stackers and all others? I cannot understand why there is such backlash. Losing beer stores is not an issue. the only ones to lose are the owners of the Beer stores and they are the big international brewer Some LCBO stores will shut down and people laid off. That is all good for taxpayers. As for the government, they lose nothing, they actually gain as they will not have to pay rents, taxes on property etc. They still make money on every bottle or can that is sold so, the will make more money. This As for paying the beer store millions, well, they are paying them to pull out early. One year later it will balance out. It all seems like a great idea to me.1 point

Dear Mr. Thick Skull, Donald Trump was not convicted of violating Federal Law. DO YOU UNDERSTAND? The STATE GOVERNMENT is not the FEDERAL GOVERNMENT. Donald Trump was convicted of violations NEW YORK STATE LAW, including New York State Election Law, which makes it illegal for "any two or more persons" to "conspire to promote or prevent the election of any person to a public office by unlawful means." So it does not matter what Federal Law says or what a former FEC Chair thinks about Federal Law because this was not a case of Federal Law. So why don’t you sit down and ask yourself this simple question: WHY ARE YOU READING AND BELIEVING MEDIA WHICH IS DIRECTLY LYING TO YOU? Here are the official instructions (.gov website!!!) to the jury which the judge gave them. You can read these for yourself to see the exact laws involved. So you don’t need to believe me, or Fox News, you can just go to the source and see for yourself. https://www.nycourts.gov/LegacyPDFS/press/PDFs/People v. DJT Jury Instructions and Charges FINAL 5-23-24.pdf Quoting from that official court document: ”For the crime of Falsifying Business Records in the First Degree, the intent to defraud must include an intent to commit another crime or to aid or conceal the commission thereof. Under our law, although the People must prove an intent to commit another crime or to aid or conceal the commission thereof, they need not prove that the other crime was in fact committed, aided, or concealed.” “The People allege that the other crime the defendant intended to commit, aid, or conceal is a violation of New York Election Law section 17-152. Section 17-152 of the New York Election Law provides that any two or more persons who conspire to promote or prevent the election of any person to a public office by unlawful means and which conspiracy is acted upon by one or more of the parties thereto, shall be guilty of conspiracy to promote or prevent an election. Under our law, a person is guilty of such a conspiracy when, with intent that conduct be performed that would promote or prevent the election of a person to public office by unlawful means, he or she agrees with one or more persons to engage in or cause the performance of such conduct. Knowledge of a conspiracy does not by itself make the defendant a coconspirator. The defendant must intend that conduct be performed that would promote or prevent the election of a person to public office by unlawful means. Intent means conscious objective or purpose. Thus, a person acts with the intent that conduct be performed that would promote or prevent the election of a person to public office by unlawful means when his or her conscious objective or purpose is that such conduct be performed. Evidence that defendant was present when others agreed to engage in the performance of a crime does not by itself show that he personally agreed to engage in the conspiracy.”1 point

There is no "normal" when it comes to packing the court. This is nothing more than wish casting of the most extreme kind of petty political partisanship from the left because you all want to politicize the court far more than you currently cry about it being. It is the same stupid hypocrisy with the left crying about saving Democracy by having to destroy it, cheering on the removal of a candidate from the polls so people can't even vote for them to "Save Democracy!" Packing the court is the term for doing something outside of "normal" to modify the courts for purely political purposes. Simply nominating and appointing Supreme Court justices as they retire as part of an ordinary course of business is not court packing. I understand it just fine, if you and others are reducing it to mean a President appoints someone because they are ideologically aligned with them... well, duh. That is what every President does. The term is meaningless at that point as every appointment is "court packing" No, that is a bad presumption on your part. So, where is your evidence?1 point

And the former FEC chair would have testified that had they classified the payment as an election expense (as NY claims he should have) then it would have been a crime. The FEC Chair would have said that the classification was appropriate in accordance to FEC rules.1 point

No it will not. Right now, as we speak, US Democratic Senator Menendez is being prosecuted for bribery charges. Are the Democrats complaining about that? No. Cause if he is guilty, he shouldn’t be in the Senate, he should be in prison. The Democrats are the Law & Order Party, and the Republicans are the Corruption Party. Being in a political party does not make you corrupt. You want to go into politics and you choose one of the two parties. There have been corrupt people in both parties. But as an institution, today, the Republican Party itself is clearly corrupt and pro-crime.1 point

1. There are MANDATORY festivals? 2. You're executing a semantic exercise to try to bend your opinion into fact here. 3. You think it's simple, but it's politics so you have to make an argument that convinces others. I think that the concept of 'tolerance' is simple but I also see that we need to explain it sometimes. ... Our education system has always engaged in expressions of culture, including those with a moral aspect. But they are not religious, and care is taken to proscribe agreeable lines to protect the rights of those who object. It can be and often is a messy affair. One example is allowing parents to opt their children out. But reasonable people understand that such discussions need to be respectful. We also give a day for Native People, a Month for Black People, a day for lovers... Etc. Celebrate or don't.1 point

There are scientific and non-scientific definitions for the terms 'hypothesis' and 'theory'. Non-scientific usage of the terms often finds them being synonymous with one another. On the other hand, scientific usage of the terms defines 'hypothesis' as an assumption based on no data or research, while it defines 'theory' as being based on research and observable data. YOU (not being a scientist) see them as being synonymous, while Alina Chan (a molecular biologist) uses the scientific definitions of the terms. Did Chan use both terms in her NYT piece? Yes she did, in describing the 'lab leak theory' as being theory based on observable evidence, and describing the claims of 'zoonotic spillover' as being simply hypothesis based on the fact that exactly zero evidence exists that Sars-CoV-2 was transmitted naturally from wild animals to humans.1 point

You might as well be working for Putin pushing this propaganda. Unfortunately, this led to the Russians rebelling?! Russia funded that rebellion, armed that rebellion, and pushed that rebellion. Hell, Russia was putting troops there covertly to back them as well. Let's not pretend like this was all some naturally occurring uprising here. This is such revisionist BS. Not based on any facts and 100% pushing pro-Russian propaganda. They can't negotiate peace with someone from a position of weakness if we are not supporting them and a real peace deal must come with security guarantees which Russia is not offering. You expect Ukraine to give Russia everything and basically just trust that Russia is going to behave like a honest and trustworthy peace partner. AFTER Russia had already taken Crimea and had already instigated the rebellion in the Donbas. No, this is exactly what you should be saying about Russia. You show more disdain towards NATO for supporting Ukraine against Russia than you do for what Russia did to Ukraine in the Donbas. And yet again... none of this was actually a direct response to anything I had previous just said to you.1 point
-
there was a moment where Russia was reeling and Ukraine was poised to win decisively but then NATO simply failed to provide Ukraine with military hardware in sufficient quantities instead of hundreds of tanks, armoured fighting vehicles & artillery pieces Ukraine was provided with dozens and NATO dithered for a full year before deciding that Ukraine needed F-16's in the meantime, the Kremlin was able to regroup and dig in, with a massive defence in depth so the window of opportunity for the Ukrainians to win outright has been closed allowing the Russians to reimpose a stalemate with a Russian bridgehead in the Donbass1 point

He's calculated, but operating within a dictatorship where the information that flows to the top has been what Putin wants to hear, rather than the reality. He'd never have invaded Ukraine in the first place if not for the misguided belief it would be over quickly, that the Ukrainians wouldn't resist tooth-and-nail, and that the Russian "bear" was even remotely as capable as everyone had previously understood. Exactly. Whoops. The self-serving delusion that democracies are soft and incapable of showing resolve or defending themselves is one that has led many dictators to their doom.1 point
