  1. How would it be so different though from " the election was stolen" claim, without a single piece of evidence thrown out by dozens of cases and still all of the MAGA and half of Republicans (seemingly) believe it? If one has moved from the standard of fact and objective truth, to "whatever serves me best becomes, is made into the truth", how much sense does it make to fish for the lowest bottom? There wouldn't be any, obviously. Every new low will be breached by the next enthusiast of false news and manufactured lies.

  2. No blow is too low for Donald Trump, who this week began peddling the claim that Nikki Haley is Constitutionally ineligible to serve as President, because her immigrant parents were not yet citizens at the time of Haley’s 1972 birth in South Carolina. Trump, who is himself Constitutionally ineligible to serve as President, has also falsely claimed that Barack Obama and Ted Cruz were born overseas and Constitutionally ineligible to serve as President. Meantime, I await for the day when the MAGA wake the F up and realize that Donald Trump is a conman who’s been lying to them for years about practically everything. https://truthsocial.com/@realDonaldTrump/posts/111721484609384209

  3. So protesting is bad in your creepy totalitarian vision of society? The truckers had the right to protest and so do Palestinians. You don’t get to have different rules for the groups you like. Either you support free speech or you don’t. Obviously violence is another matter. The courts can and do shut down highly disruptive activities, though in Canada they generally let much more go if it’s an Indigenous railway blockade or BLM riot. Too much radical left ideological capture in Canada.

  4. When a leftist or a minority does it, it's always ok, so whether or not it's hate speech depends on who's talking. Examples of "OK hate speech": https://www.westernstandard.news/news/trudeau-calls-the-unvaccinated-racist-and-misogynistic-extremists/article_a3bacece-2e14-5b8c-bf37-eddd672205f3.html Got it?

  5. Well, no. Because the President could resign the day before a Senate vote, if it came to that.

  6. you're getting very confused. none of the J6 convictions had anything to do with the 14th Amendment. if SCOTUS rules in Trumps favour on the 14th Amendment then nothing changes for J6 convictions. still waiting for that exculpatory evidence to overturn the J6 convictions.

  7. Did he have any evidence for those claims? What was the substance of them, any, objectively speaking? Fox News admitted they were "false statements". If not, they have to be one and the same thing: the difference is only what completely made up "truth" comes out of one's finger. You need to see things for what they are, and "grow up".

  8. Incorrect. Conspiracy to commit murder can be charged without an actual murder. It's not the job of any SC to determine guilt of a crime. Doesn't mean he hasn't been victimized So it's just hatred that motivated the anti trump crowd. We've known that for some time now.

  9. I think it would have been really funny to see the look on Trump's face if Seal Team 6 had marched into the courtroom with their weapons ready during that argument about them assassinating Biden's political rival.

  10. Of course you aren’t convinced! After all; we saw with our own eyes the live video of a violent riot consisting of people who were trying to stop the certification of the Electoral College. But you say we didn’t see it. We did see it. Now you say there was no insurrection that day, yet people were convicted of seditious conspiracy. So you say that all of their convictions were false. It’s obvious that you do not accept reality. Whether that is from an in-born neurological defect, a learning disability, too many punches to the head, extensive drug use… I cannot say. But the facts are clear: It is extremely difficult to convict someone of seditious conspiracy. Not only does the prosecution need to prove that the person engaged in sedition, the prosecution must also prove that the accused did so deliberately in concert with other individuals. You cannot be convicted of seditious conspiracy if you act alone. The Proud Boys were highly organized on January 6. They left Trump’s speech very early, in order to surveil the Capitol for weaknesses. They used radio communication to select the most vulnerable points to attack to gain entry to the U.S. Capitol. When one point failed, they coordinated to attack a different point. There is extensive evidence of these facts, leading Tarrio to not only be convicted of seditious conspiracy, but to rack up the maximum punishment allowable by law for the act.

  11. It seems universities are teaching their college age children to trigger themselves over anything they or their radical professors don't like to hear. For example, when someone like Charlie Kirk or Ben Shapiro visit a left-leaning university, they are met with liberal students who are easily traumatized and readily insecure. It makes for entertaining video, but it illustrates how powerful the left has gotten with its bullshit take on "hate speech".

  13. What Trump’s lawyer said was neither sensible nor was it true. What he said was the only excuse he could think of to justify the absurd. The Constitution does not say that the President is immune from criminal prosecution unless convicted by impeachment. What’s more, Trump’s lawyers argued that Trump could not be convicted by the Senate because he was no longer President, and several Senators voted for his acquittal for that very reason. Thus, Trump’s logic says that if a crime is undetected until after the President leaves office, or if the President resigns one day before the Senate votes to convict, then he cannot be charged with criminal offenses. This would create a unique system of justice in which one person cannot be tried for crimes the same as anyone else.

  14. Today, Donald Trump’s attorney argued before a Federal court of appeals that Donald Trump cannot be prosecuted for crimes he allegedly committed while President. He argued that a President can ONLY be prosecuted for committing a crime if he is first impeached and convicted by the Senate. John Lauro then argued that President Joe Biden should be prosecuted for (get this) violating Donald Trump’s Absolute Immunity. So Donald Trump has absolute immunity from prosecution… but Joe Biden does not.

  15. The Truckers Protest was a loose organization of thousands of people who heard there was going to be a protest against the little dictator and they were not convicted of a crime and most did nothing illegal. A few involved in the occupation were charged and being tried. But the overwhelming majority were not charged or convicted of anything.

It's just the gov't deparment that advises ministers and cabinet and basically turns out little "Humphrey's" for those who are fans of Yes Minister The clerk of the council is the head of the civil service in Canada. That list is published so we know she was never the clerk, but she could have had an important role, its a huge department

  18. Of course they’re close. Duh. “Sedition is conduct or speech that incites individuals to violently rebel against the authority of the government. Insurrection includes the actual acts of violence and rebellion.” In US Federal Law, seditious conspiracy covers BOTH insurrection and sedition AND requires proof of conspiracy: ”If two or more persons in any State or Territory, or in any place subject to the jurisdiction of the United States, conspire to overthrow, put down, or to destroy by force the Government of the United States, or to levy war against them, or to oppose by force the authority thereof, or by force to prevent, hinder, or delay the execution of any law of the United States, or by force to seize, take, or possess any property of the United States contrary to the authority thereof.” QUESTION: How comes I keep quoting US Federal Law to you, and you never do? Your approach seems to be to deny that US Federal Law exists.

  19. In case you've forgotten, the Dems spent 3 years running a witch hunt with the FBI. Those guys lied to Americans about 20,000 times and the FBI even got caught committing felonies. At the end, how much "evidence" of collusion did they have? Not one iota. The emails weren't found to be hacked, the only witness of the source of the emails said that they were leaked, the entrapment meeting with the Russian girl at Trump tower came up empty-handed, the ALFA Bank lead was bunk, Hillary's lawyer lied to the FBI and wasn't charged, the FBI leaned on Trump associates for "testimony" and got nothing... You guys ran your mouth for YEARS with no evidence. Now you're butthurt because Trump talked for two months. What's worse, myata? Lying and committing crimes for three years or being wrong for 2 months? Go soak your head you stupid little hypocrite.

If they are known to be DIShonest - then the opposite is true Myata, Michael and Treebeard appear to be supporting the idea that track record should never matter. Given their track records, i think we can understand why they'd feel that way Translation - live within your echo chamber so that you don't hear anything that might be disquieting Mike - you couldn't be more of a left winger if you tried.

  21. How were the people who had donated to the truckers convoy criminals exactly? Which criminal code did they violate? Were they charged or informed? What you really mean is you support dictatorship and violating human rights as long as it involves someone you don't like. Typical leftie.

  23. Grow up, dummy. This appears to be what's known as a 'spurious allegation', more along the lines of "He paid Russian hookers to pee on a bed", which CNN and CBC ran with. As an anonymous internet poster, I hold myself to a higher standard than they do. Trump's accusations were more like "The guys who were caught cheating several times on the 2016 election appear to have run some more of their scams", after they spent years making scams easier, and then truckloads of post-election ballots swung a state or two.

  24. No, you have to stop as soon as a judge says you must. Such cases are common and always the authorities get a judicial order requiring the protesters to go away. That never actually happened in ottawa. Nobody actually ruled it wasn't legal. They were never told by a judge that they were in violation and had to stop. THe closest they came was the honking, and when the judge orderedt hey stop Strange that, wouldn't you say?

  26. I know there was a Delta variant that came in a second wave and killed a lot of people, and then Omicron became the prevalent strain and it was far more transmissible but much less deadly. The original two variants, Alpha and Delta, were replaced by the far more transmissible, but less deadly Omicron. Plus, very high proportions of the most susceptible age groups were vaccinated, making Omicron even less deadly. New York was hit hard because of very high population density, it’s the crossroads of the world (LOTS of international and domestic travelers coming and going), it got hit very, very early, when the virus was its deadliest and there were absolutely no vaccinations, and insufficient availability of PPE. That’s what happened.

  28. Immigrants don't commit crimes, poor people do, especially poor people from countries with a lot of crime and violence and lack of rule of law due to the poverty of the country. Doctors from the middle east aren't committing many crimes when they move here and neither are their children. The biggest reason people are typically poor is because they're aren't well educated. Import poor people and a disproportionate # of them will commit crimes compared to the Canadian average.

  37. To recap: The Great Leader proclaimed to his supporters to fight, which they did and they entered the Capitol building to stop the peaceful transfer of power and abduct the VP. Many have been found guilty and Great Leader may be banned from running again. In a few years, nobody will be proud to have supported this hypocritical and selfish embarrassment. 39. It does not seem like you have the best understanding of history when it comes to Ukraine. The Ukrainians do not want to become part of Russia. This war has been ongoing since 2014, when Russia invaded the Crimea and Eastern Ukraine. Historically Ukrainians have suffered horribly under Russian rule. The whole "NATO is to blame" is just useless Russian propaganda. I know of new Ukrainians in Canada, and literally every single one is in support of fighting off the Russian invaders. The Ukrainians can give up, but that would mean Russia annexing 20% of Ukraine, and having the ethnic Ukrainians persecuted.

  40. It's what I'm reducing it to I guess - I don't feel like I have much else to work with. For what it's worth though I think the entire ME was dealt a truly rotten hand by powers-that-be that should have known better. It's little suspicious how easily Israel's supporters cite the UN when discussing the legitimacy of Israel's creation and then just as easily condemn the UN on virtually everything else it's done since. I know. But this is another two way street where unfortunately there are plenty of Israelis and their supporters who want to destroy Palestine. I suppose. What Hamas is firing seems pretty easy for Israel to deal with. What Israel throws back seems like overkill to say the least. In any case I really think Israel's supporters need to neutralize Iran.

  43. How do we go from we Canadians get along to NATO...your response are very cryptic, not sure if it is a language problem, or if your not understanding my posts... First Russia is still alive and well, infact they have decided to start grabbing some of it's old territory back, by military force.... Europe is doing what the soviet union once down grabbed up all the surrounding countries to form a barrier for Russia...those ex Warsaw nations are doing this by allowing them access to the European union...and for most it makes becoming a NATO member easier... Russia biggest mistake was thinking NATO was going to sit around and watch...and now NATO who has been asleep for 30 years is now waking up and starting to rearm, becasue of Russian aggression...Today NATO is not a threat to Russia it barely able to look after it's own borders...Why is Canada having a hard time assembling a BATTLE GROUP, becasue we suck.......Russia mean while is still throwing thousands of it's men into a meat grinder, and has no intention of stopping...until it gets what it wants or Putin is over thrown...life's means nothing to Russia, never has. So why do we need NATO again? NATO is nothing more than a club where a few members have the ability to wage war.. the others are just a weight hanging on to it's neck....and some are like Canada, we are in the club, we don't following any of the rules, becasue we know western countries are to polite to kick us out, and that is slowly changing as Canada is being left out in the cold on some vital NATO issues...It's not something to be proud of...it is something to be afraid off... Canada will support any conflict that involves NATO, thats a given.....but it will do that with all our shitty equipment...who is going to pay, our sons and daughters with their lives...we have shown the same thing in 3 conflicts already so it is not a surprise........Becasue we as a nation have decided it is cheaper to bury our sons and daughters than give them the equipment to do a job we have asked them to do...now how is that for national sprite, does it make you proud, make you want to stand up and salute...it makes me sick, embarrassed to be Canadian, we are not united, nor do we get along...we just don't care enough to take action...it is outside our bubble Don't worry we have as a nation set aside one half day to honor our soldiers sacrifices, we will honor your sons, daughters then go home and forget they even existed...Their memory will be held intact by the veterans and their families....Becasue rest of Canadian don't really care.... those unlucky enough to survive these conflicts well they will be asking for to much at that moment of they need us the most, thrown into a corner, only to watch their numbers shrink due to them taking their own lives... fU*K YA, makes you proud to be Canadian doesn't.

I'm beginning to think most do not: https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/montreal/schools-should-sing-national-anthem-says-st-lazare-resident-1.1331635 Do they sign the anthem in indigenous schools on reserves? Is there a school in the continental US that doesn't sing the US anthem and/or recite the pledge of allegiance? Doubtful. Here's a wedge issue: does a voter consider themselves "Canadian" in nationality, and are they glad to be one?
