Any ways, you guys are way too late to the party to complain at this point. This is NOT the first trans that Bud has hired. Remember this guy? Spuds Mckenzie? The most manly of dogs in the drinking world? Yep - actually a biological female.3 points

It's pretty clear he's not. This is just how he thinks of things. You can make all the excuses for him you like but at the end of the day he was very clear about what he said - and it wasn't your twist on it.2 points

Strong economies do invest in themselves. You think those roads and schools and hospitals and universities just spring out of the ground like mushrooms? He is clearly speaking to young people and using “credit card” as shorthand to describe borrowing and education amd home improvement as an example of responsible investment. What you righttards are claiming doesn’t make sense, why agenda would he be pushing tellling youth to use credit cards as opposed to other form of payment or borrowing and why would he tell them to spend it on education and home improvement but not on things like TVs? This is that distortion you guys love to do where you cherry pick tiny snippets of words taken out of context, apply strict literal interpretations them you sh-t your ideas into the mouth of the next cultist in line who distorts it even further before sh-tting into the mouth of the next guy.2 points

Thank you for providing another example of your inability to think critically and how you’re so easily manipulated by your human caterpillar. The video clearly does NOT say what your caterpillar tells you it says If you had finished high school you’d know that nobody pays for university or buys a house with a credit card, dimwit. So that would be your first clue that he’s speaking metaphorically. Also he clearly does NOT say “this is what I want you to do” So right away it is a lie for this thread tot claim that Justin Trudeau advises people to borrow on their credit cards to help stimulate the economy So now you agree with his general point that it’s responsible to borrow to invest in enterprises that create value…. but you’re upset and outraged that in his example he didn’t name a borrowing instrument with a lower interest rate?2 points

So who's engaging in culture wars? Certainly not the company who chooses to give someone who happens to be trans the same opportunity they could give to another person who happens to not be trans. The objectors are the ones making it into a culture war, not the company. It's no more "foisting" than showing mix-race couples on ads - just like mixed-race couples, trans people are part of life, so why object to them appearing in media as a spokesperson? I sure hope this company doesn't fold in front of this, imo, transphobic reaction.1 point

This is a disaster for both Ukraine and Russia and Putin is the cause. He has turned much of Ukraine into a waste land and has weakened Russia militarily, is responsible for 10's if not 100's of thousands of deaths and turned Russia into an international pariah. I don't know that there will be any real winners but NATO will certainly be stronger as a result and Putin has no one but himself to blame.1 point

How would YOU KNOW that? Seems like you ONLY consume right wing media and you are just biased against "left wing media" trying to justify your prejudice. No $1.6B lawsuits showing LYING against any but Fox.1 point

the weird part is telling people to put it on their credit card when a homeowner could get a low interest line of credit based off the equity in the home then he tells people to put their college tuition on a credit card ? he really does live in his own little rich boy world, he has no idea how things actually work1 point

Canadians are no friend to America Canadians are speech banning, gun grabbing, hysterical enemies of American freedom Canadians are shameless freeloaders who live by American defense, while siding with America's enemies Canadians are just passive aggressive about it in this case, Canada trying to stick to America anyway it can even if that means the little Canadian frog is going to get stung by the big Chinese scorpion1 point

Let's assume for a moment that all the overblown hyperbole generated by by right-wing media were true. You are still advocating taking the choice out of the hands of parents and trained medical professionals and placing it in the hands of legislators. And, IMHO, that should be avoided at all costs.1 point

I disagree. It’s clearly the conservative culture war It’s not like Bud’s entire marketing strategy and brand is now based on this trans person. They did a little social media gig with ONE trans influencer, probably one of dozens of social Media influencers they do promos with. Conservatives are overreacting to gin up controversy as per their usual M.O. InBev is also a major global corporation with many large brands in its stable I highly doubt the entire corporation is tanking because of this one limited consumer boycott of this one brand1 point

I don't think all those children swept up in a fad and being given drugs and surgery by adults swept up by ideology is something to simply smile and wave at in hopes it goes away. People's lives are being ruined by this. It's more than a little more serious than hippies with long hair. And then they grew up. And still had their body parts intact.1 point

You claim only two facts: 1) Joe Biden allegedly left a voicemail about an article that was posted. This is not a crime. 2) Joe Biden receives money from Hunter. Where is your evidence of this? Was it reported on Joe Biden’s financial disclosure or tax returns? If there’s evidence he received this money and it was not reported, there’s a crime. Or if it was earned in an illegal fashion. So where is the proof?1 point

To a certain point, sure. But now court documents have surfaced which prove fox has wilfully spread false information about the 2020 election. On air they'd say the election was stolen, yet off the air they all shared that they held the belief that Donald's claims were false. This garbage was a major breach of public trust and extremely damaging to our electoral system. They spread malicious propaganda with impunity and damaged our country. Straight up. So it's your contention that all of fox's viewers know that the election was not rigged and just watch Tucker lying to them because they find it entertaining? Wow.... You got some balls trying to feed me that tripe. I'll give you that. Well I don't like to brag... But I have saved a few moronic alt-right zealots from being crushed by the weight of their own stupidity. But granted, those are few and far between.1 point

The misdemeanor "false business records" charges are ROUTINE and a SLAM DUNK. The thing that's NOVEL and therefore weaker, are the crimes being hidden by the fraud, and thereby raising the violations to FELONIES. But Bragg has not even publicly specified which crimes were being hidden, so no one yet knows how weak it is. Rumor is that it's either tax evasion or campaign finance violations. If they have proof of tax evasion, that is a slam dunk.1 point

That it's a bit of a fad that's been taken a little too far and seriously is not something I dispute and I think conservatives reaction to it is what will stand out the most. I'm convinced half the reason people do make such an issue out of it is that its just about the easiest way to rattle a conservatives cage. I mean it wasn't that long ago that conservatives got all icky and convinced it was the end-of-the-world over guys with long hair and girls wearing pants. I wouldn't be surprised if lots of conservatives were hippies themselves back in the day.1 point

Liberals are the epitome of "do as I say, not as I do". Even with climate they talk the talk but don't walk the walk. I don't particularly like Liberals, stretching back a long time. They are arrogant elitists who think they know better than anyone. The NDP, Greens, and the Bloc at least care about their principles more than winning, which I can respect. Which is why they'll never win i guess.1 point
-
In my opinion the federal Liberals will still be hard to beat, despite Trudeau's numerous failures that expose him as being unworthy of the office. Plus, he's got the NDP vote on his side as well. They're enjoying the biggest slice of the federal pie they've had for many years, and will continue supporting Trudeau's Liberals. Therefore I say all is lost, my friends. Canada is lost.1 point

The Liberals do well because: 1. they elect true bilingual leaders from Quebec, which the Quebecois like. 2. They appeal to the left-of-center political sensibilities of the urban voters of Quebec and Ontario. That's usually enough for them to take the election. Maybe Pierre Poillievre's French name will get him some play in Quebec. Jagmeet Singh should change his name to Jean-Luc Francois.1 point

Nice topic. I think the spirit of "getting along" goes back to before the Liberals, so I would not give them full credit for that. Also, Sir John A, who helped establish the confederation, was a conservative. .... Today in fact we have the opposite going on. Liberal PM Justin Trudeau has openly expressed intolerance and sown division among Canadians. His comments about the unvaccinated, for example, branding them as racists and misogynists. It was bizarre.1 point

Wouldn't this be an example of cancel culture, but from the conservative side? Let's be honest here. Cancel culture has been an often used weapon by leftists for years now. Why is it a fair tactic only if the left uses it? Top 10 recent examples of cancel culture - Washington Times How has your side reacted with anything that has the Trump brand? I can't recall if I have ever had a Bud Light in my life. I didn't know who this Dylan Mulvaney guy was until this Bud Light story went crazy but I would pass on buying that brand now. I would rather see these big companies concentrate on business and not social engineering.1 point

Funny thing, Many companies seem to find that when the y spend a lot on market research the market researchers wind up somehow getting an 'agenda' sucked into their figures. This has cost many companies a lot of money. Gillette for example - a company that literally makes most of it's money selling mens shaving gear somehow got it into their heads after 'market research' that making an advert totally trashing men was a good idea. Other companies have had similar incidents I don't know how it happens but it does occasionally seem to, that a big market research budget sometimes comes back with stupidity like that.1 point

Woke also means pushing the alphabet soup of LGBTQRCHID letters and their sick agenda, transgenderism nonsense, CRT and climate change nonsense. All mentioned are just more communist like bs that serves nothing but a waste of we the people's woke time and taxpayer's tax dollars. The lefty liberals are always looking for something to whine about. They do it for the money and nothing else. The liberals could careless about the LGBT or transgender people rights. It's all just a joke to them. But sadly, for many liberals, they take everything liberalism says and does way to serious. Sadly, liberalism is a terrible disease to end up, and way too many people that call themselves liberals have that disease. To cure that disease is to become a conservative minded person so they once again can start to think again. Truth will prevail over lies. The woke like to push racism and to pretend that they are all in for democracy. Yet, when anyone challenges their wokeness, they go ballistic. This should tell us all that they cannot justify anything that they say or do because they refuse to debate their communist like woke agenda. For conservatives like me, yes, wokeness has replaced socialism with wokeism. The world needs to get back to conservatism once again. More freedom, less government and less taxes are needed. We all need to end wokeism once and for all. It's killing us all. My opinion.-1 points
