Did you notice how the CBC, CTV news hosts and political pundits are constantly mocking or slurring the American GOP (Republicans) for the many votes they are casting to choose their house speaker? The Democrats and the mainstream media seem to be obsessed with trying to fault the GOP for not reaching an immediate majority vote and some even claim the democratic system is collapsing somehow. How ridiculous can they get and desperate to find fault with the Republicans? The media just prove over and over how shallow their thinking is and how little credibility they have. The sky is not falling and the American system will continue as normal. At some point the House will choose a speaker and they will move on. No need for all the chicken littles to panic and loose their marbles.

Canada has a one-China policy and does not have an official foreign diplomatic post in Taiwan. This should tell us something about the liberal left in Canada and their disastrous foreign affairs. This situation of loving Communist countries goes back 53 years or so when PM Pierre Trudeau was the first western leader to lead Canada to officially recognize the People's Republic of China and establish diplomatic relations in 1970. It is well-known the Trudeaus had a fascination with Communist dictatorships and became personal friends with Cuba's Fidel Castro. Why Liberals at large so easily bought into this is a mystery. It may have something to do with Liberals in the 1960s feeling their oats and thinking they somehow could be the great arbitrator of the world's problems. They wholeheartedly rushed in to give all their support to the U.N. and embraced multiculturalism as the be all and end all. They continue down this path and have added progressivism into the mix and rejected our historic Judeo-Christian culture and civilization and our European roots as of any importance. It has been said that key Liberals consider Canada as a "post-national" state. Nationalism is frowned on and Canadians have even been accused of genocide without any basis at all. There seems to be an obsession by liberals (and left) with encouraging national shame for colonizing this part of north America. This liberal left thinking has had dire consequences with nation building and national defence. Canada's armed forces cannot even get people to join because of this progressivism/liberalism deeply embedded in our government departments. They have in effect declared war on our historic traditional values. They are trying to change Canada into some kind of liberal/progressive pagan culture with increasing state control of free speech, beliefs, and society in general. There is a place and time for diversity of views in any political party but not with key votes like this which should have been considered a vote of confidence. It is true that since Trudeau père both governing parties in Canada have tightened their grip on MPs to a depressing extent. Do you think Stephen Harper encouraged debate and members’ bills on abortion within his caucus? The best place to see such individual freedom expressed by MPs is in parliamentary committees. Unfortunately, the PMO has taken these over as well and MPs have very few decisions to make between elections.

You seem to have missed the important memo about the coming population drop as the Boomer generation dies off. Canada almost has a negative birth rate, which is why immigration continues to be pushed. If Canadians had more kids, less immigration would be necessary to maintain the workforce. Really we should be able to live with a lower population over time as automation makes many jobs redundant, but we need to ensure that the profits generated through automation get to the public WITHOUT lapsing into totalitarian controls, which is essentially the managed economy or fake capitalism (top-down Chinese style totalitarian capitalism). I believe that such totalitarian controls are the single greatest threat to humanity. We can adapt to climate change by migrating, building dikes, constructing differently, etc. Technology will reduce emissions over time. However, when “enlightened” leaders start limiting how much we can travel, what we can buy, to the degree of imprisoning people in their homes, under the threat of asset seizure, public ridicule, criminalization, etc., we’re in real trouble. Canada is a sucker for top-down central planning. Canadians generally believe and do what governments and state-funded media say. There’s no real opposition in Canada. Liberal media instilled fear of cultural values and thinking for oneself, which are portrayed as extremist, colonial, patriarchal, etc. Constitutional rights in Canada are increasingly compromised in the interest of the state’s current agenda. You have no constitutional property rights in Canada. Any cardiac death within certain time frame of a vaccine injection should be considered 'suspicious' and investigated. Weirdly I now know three people who recently developed heart problems, and the two younger ones in their 20's died. This is statistically shocking, given the small sample size of friends and coworkers. We also know several women who developed menstrual issues after vaccinating. Again it's unusual given the sample size. Others I've talked to also know some women who are experiencing this. Is it just a coincidence or a cover-up? There needs to be an investigation.
