  1. Representing the King doesn't mean you get to live like one from the 1500's on the taxpayer's dime.

  2. He is not "defending rape and human trafficking". Ya know Beave...I'm really tired of your particular brand of chickenshit. You use the same lyin' crap every fcking day. You warp peoples' words in order to make completely unsubstantiated accusations. You are a cookie-cutter Libbie. A human with only one thought...'Orangemanbad'. I mean really...please don't go around telling folks abroad...if you ever get abroad... ...that you're Canadian.

  4. How is the governor general not responsible for associated expenses? The question isn't whether she's personally responsible for every dollar spent by her office, but rather how much money is spent for her almost purely symbolic office. There's a real and present argument that her position and ties to the monarchy aren't even necessary, so spending $35 million a year for her to wave and smile at people at home and abroad, and rubber stamp things isn't something everyone needs to appreciate.

  5. This would be a boring forum if all we ever did was agree on everything…. it would be more like “preaching to the converted”. He’s not in charge though. People created medicines made of chemicals to keep us alive much longer than He intended. Isn’t that “playing God” as well?
    1 point
  6. If this was actually a concern, we wouldn’t take man-made medications like vaccines or cancer fighting chemotherapy because those things are not natural in any way. We should just allow cancer to kill us…. naturally…. like God intended.

  7. Dems were in power for 8 years while Epstein went free. He got incarcerated when Trump was POTUS. If Obama could have run for election again in 2016, Epstein would still be bangin' teens.

  8. I don't know why you think this is such a powerful argument, because it's not. There's nothing hypocritical about believing in climate change and wanting to do more to fight it, and choosing the government that is at least acknowledge the problem and the need to take action, rather than the one that pretends it doesn't exist or not worth doing anything about. Individual voters don't set policy, or know enough about it to matter.

  9. I mean, he's right. Anytime you don't like the facts presented, you just fall back on your limp one-liners, and when you're caught contradicting yourself or saying something easily proven stupid/wrong, you either spam more one liners and try to move things to the next page.

  14. Why make the comparison in the first place? What does Epstein have to do with this? The thread OP is trying to defend Tate via the absurd claim that his exchange with Greta on Twitter led to his arrest. What you're saying here is so aggressively clueless it's hard to even see how you got there. It's like you can't track the thread past more than one or two responses before forgetting the topic and what everyone's already talked about. ?

  15. Opinion: More needs to be done to contain GG’s extravagance (msn.com) The federal government is scamming Canadians. This is like the 18th century in France before the French Revolution when the Royalty and privileged lived in luxury and the monarch said about the peasants "let them eat cake". While many Canadians are struggling with inflation, the high cost of groceries, the outrageous cost of rent and homes, gas, and everything else, certain people in elite positions in government are abusing the system.

  16. Why are you sure Tate's alleged victims are all adults. I think the chances of that are between zero and none. Since when did human traffickers ever care about a victim's legal age?

  17. What are you supposing this article says? Just posting a link with no substantive commentary is a waste of everyone's time. Ukraine struck a military barracks and killed a bunch of soldiers. This is what Russia should be doing if they actually want to win a war or go on the offensive, but they're stuck lobbing Iranian and South Korean garbage-tech into Ukrainian civilian infrastructure, because they're too incompetent and under-equipped to do anything else.

  18. You put the animal down. If that animal has a family, you sue the family for attempted wrongful death. You make all kinds of noise about how YOU were the victim, not the animal. Bottom line, putting an animal down saves lives of his future victims.

  20. There are some studies coming out now regarding repeat infections - getting covid over and over. Basically very hard on your body organs. I need to go over them before I post. The problem is - it's mainly the vaxxed getting repeat infections. Healthy lifestyle is still the best prevention. Eat well, get some exercise, spend time outside, take supplements, look after your physical and mental health. Basically everything the lockdowns prevented people from doing for 2 years.

  21. This could lead to mayhem. Our gov't should be happy that I didn't vaccinate, or vax my son, if it gets to the point where those things are so common that the MSM can no longer avoid the topic. It infuriates me when I see all the kiddie vax pimping on the news and in commercials. They just say "the vaccine can reduce covid symptoms in children" blah blah blah, but they never say anything meaningful, like "can prevent serious long-term effects of covid in children such as ___________, ____________ and ________." What is so bad about kids getting covid? None of them die. There are no long-term effects that I've heard of. Why take even the slightest risk on an experimental vax? None of the "Vax yer whelp to save my skin, because my vax doesn't really work" crowd can say how children benefit, all they do is brush off the actual, known risks.

  22. Yeah he is: “but but it’s not as bad as Epstein”. And FTR: Epstein got a ridiculous sweetheart deal from his Republican lawyer Ken Starr (who was recently Trump’s impeachment lawyer) and the Republican administration of George W Bush. How’s that for a “fact-based discussion” @WestCanMan?

  23. All he has left is his straw man arguments, baseless accusations and alt-left propaganda. He can't have a fact-based discussion because the facts are never on his side.

  25. So you walk in and someone's stealing your TV, run down to the rec room, unlock your gun cabinet, remover the trigger lock, run over to the ammo, load the gun and run back and shoot the guy 7 times. Or you might be one of those real smart guys that keeps a loaded gun in the house and handy. It's just too hard to use your fists or hit them with a chair or hockey stick... There's this tiny legal difference between people and property. Shooting someone stealing your silverware is not self defence.

  26. Yes, real funny. Real funny how you HAD to know if someone was injected in order to get a haircut, but now that athletes and teenagers are dropping dead al over the place, you all don't want to know.

  34. In case you didn't know it, the GG are extremely highly paid. "The current salary is $425,000 and there is a generous pension. Until 2001, Governors-General did not pay income tax on their salary; this was changed after the Queen agreed to pay tax." They get paid this $425,000 per year plus when they leave the position after five years, they get a large annual salary plus they can claim expenses for the rest of their life. I don't see what they do as justifying that kind of money. And why should they get that huge pensions and expenses after leaving office? You really think going around shaking hands with CAF members or school children, etc. is worth $425,000 a year. Or signing new government legislation into law? That must be hard job. Even prime minsters don't get paid that much money. Who gets a pension like that after five years in the job? Nobody.

The point was that Kanye the schizo tried to argue that Hitler wasn't so bad because he was right about some things, just like you tried to with Andrew Tate. ?? It shouldn't take a genius to realize that being vaguely right about "some things" doesn't count for much against being a rubbish human being.

  38. Speak to the argument, not the straw man. The post has nothing to do with rape or defending your daughter, it was about shooting a robber. That crap was brought in because he couldn't defend his argument so he tried to make it about something else. Sadly something that happens in almost every thread on this forum..

  40. The governments track record for making good decisions is not all that good. I do agree with some of the bill, that gives people the right to end their own lives based on medical reasons such as to much pain, or quality of life is only going to get worse, like terminal cancer etc... But like everything the government touches seems to turn to Shi* in a hurray. for instance a women was granted permission becasue she she could not find an apartment nor afford one, that fit her medical needs. Which brings the question how much do we value life ? Now they have included people with mental health issues, funny they can't, own a fire arm becasue they are not of sound mind, (we are afraid they might kill someone or themselves) but they are of sound mind if they decide to opt for medical assisted suicide. how does that make sense? Medical experts have said most mental illness can be treated, IE PTSD, Traumatic trauma with high success rates over time, and yet here we decided hey here is a short cut, strip off and lay on the table, we'll solve your problems right here and right now have you signed your organ donor card..... How did that become normal ? I've struggled with PTSD for a long while, and there was a time that i thought suicide was the best option, many of my comrades were doing the same thing seeing no way out, they took they own lives...and destroyed many more. Now all you have to do is fill out a form and everything will be done for you. When all i had to do was sit down with someone in the mental health field and talk...today i am grateful i was given that opportunity, to live and grow old with my family and my grand kids... What they did not think about was the people they left behind, their loved ones and how this would effect them, a son or daughter without a father or mother, the human aspect to it all.

  42. 9/11 Truthers are a prime example. Such a conspiracy would have had to involve tens of thousands in different government agencies, airlines and the families of victims among many others. Yet 21 years later and no one has blabbed. It's no wonder people like Alex Jones can get such a following when people are that easily manipulated.

  43. If we have learned anything from covid 19, it is there is always going to be some bone-head who is going to come out and say all these people who actually know what they are talking about are wrong or they are working for the "International (Name any phantom cabal) conspiracy." That is why we are in serious trouble regarding climate change. The fallacy with this is conspiracies don't work. They rely on secrecy. People can not keep secrets. Once in a while some one comes along who can keep a secret, but they are individuals as scarce as an honest man. G.Gordon Liddy made a big deal about his disgust with his fellow conspirators confessions. He would never talk...until his cell door slammed shut and suddenly, he spilled his guts, singing like Johnny Cash. A conspiracy requires a group of individuals. Among them is always the guy who will brag to his girl friend.

  46. No, I employ analogies because you've proven incapable of comprehending the actual topic and the analogies perfectly illustrate how truly absurd your position is. It you didn't have incidence data, big dumb raw numbers might be your best*directional* data. But it's clumsy and often leads to poor conclusions, as the seatbelt example illustrates. However, if you do have the incidence data (and we do!) then there is no guesswork. You can simply look and see the direct effect on hospitalization and mortality. ^^This is indisputably and obviously true. But you are so damn invested in the holidays bogus vax failure narrative that you will do anything to avoid acknowledging facts that are clear in the incidence data. There is no question that the vaccine makes any individual dramatically less likely to be hospitalized or to die. It's visible in the data. It's*explicitly* stated in the reports and analysis. You can keep your head up your ass and ignore all of that, but it won't change the reality.

  47. Incorrect. Once again you’re caught with your pants down and fact-free In February-March 2014, Russia annexed Crimea outright, and invaded Donbas with irregular “militias”, Wagner mercenaries and de-badged Russian regular troops. The Azov regiment was a resistance group that formed in the Donbas in May 2014 and was absorbed by the Ukrainian government in November 2014.
