  1. Must be a slow day in the media, when what's her face makes the news once again, this time promoting her new book, and her new direction in life. Shes pretty much pissed off with everyone in the world, The best thing the west could do for this chick is to get her some help for her mental issues, instead of using her to promote a climate crisis that not many world leaders or nations really care about in the first place.

  3. because it was not a war Section 1 of the Charter was invoked to suspend our rights as if this was World War levels of emergency meanwhile it wasn't anything approaching that, not even close for all intents & purposes the entire country was mobilized as if this was total war when nothing like this has ever been done is the past for any pandemic to include the Spanish Flu, the worst pandemic in human history at first I complied with the mandates, I took the first two jabs in good faith but after awhile it became more than clear, that these mandates were being exploited to impose Chinese Communist style Social Credit totalitarian control upon us notice how the decorated Canadian combat arms veterans reacted then that is because we were indoctrinated to resist Communist infiltration of institutions, dating back to the Cold War Cold Warriors know the trace between East Germany & the Free World and are thus incited to call "stand to" when the Commies have overrun the defences, running amok inside the wire our freedom loving American brothers in arms saw it too, answering the stand to as well Anglo-American Empire of Liberty, since 1917 Ducimus

  4. Unlikely. The Notwithstanding clause can only be used for certain portions of the charter. In any event, your being bothered by this seems to be an indication you have a respect for the charter I completely lack. Realistically, it's nothing of importance since the nine political appointees can simply interpret it any way they want to. As they have on the issue of strikes. Don't forget a previous panel of political appointees said there was nothing wrong with the government legislating workers back to work and that the Charter did not protect strikes. This panel is further to the Left so has redecided issues based on their personal beliefs.

  8. Boys and girls, this belongs in the "I'M NOT MAKING THIS UP" category. Who could possibly imagine such an ignorant and outrageous remark, even if it is from a goose stepping Democrat? https://www.foxnews.com/politics/rep-maloney-recalls-eating-chef-boyardee-kid-during-inflation-talk-says-what-families-have-do Rep. Maloney recalls 'eating Chef Boyardee' as kid during inflation talk, says it's 'what families have to do' This DEMOCRAT left out the fact that HIS PARTY is directly and singularly responsible for the record HIGHEST inflation in history. And now we're supposed to eat canned pasta and continue to vote for those who did this? I wonder when another Democrat will suggest we eat cake.

  9. https://www.foxnews.com/politics/florida-proceeds-ban-puberty-blockers-sex-reassignment-surgeries-minors Florida proceeds with ban on puberty blockers and sex reassignment surgeries for minors More evidence that Florida is the best educated state in the union. A puberty blocker might as well be called chemical castration, something the courts often require of paroled pedophiles. A minor is not permitted to by a firearm, alcohol, or get a tattoo in the state of Florida. And NOW Florida has decided minors will not be permitted to be CASTRATED or given a MASTECTOMY just because they might have read some pedophile literature a rogue school teacher in a blue county might have illegally given them.

  16. I recall actually listening to a some official experts (for whatever the term is worth these days). Some were plainly playing out the official propaganda. Others were trying/pretending to be more objective about whats going on. NONE, just plain zero in my memory were responding to obvious and immediate question: are the measures proportional to the risk; effective and justified. It just looked like someone somewhere decided: OK we'll figure it out for you; you don't need to worry (here). No checks, no thresholds, no meaningful answers, zero accountability. And if so, what does it have to do with democracy? China and Russia have elections.

  19. So do you have any evidence, taped recordings, email trails etc, of these people talking amongst themselves about deliberately lying to the public? If you don't then all you really have is the irrational exuberance governments usually like to put on display. Don't forget we were also told a vaccine could take 5 years. They promised less and delivered more on that score. I repeat, when did right-wingers lose their capacity to temper their self-vaunted expectations that governments would be there to hold their hands and make all the boos go away? I really do think handing out a lollipop with each jab would have made a world of difference.

  33. You're the poster boy for Dunning Kruger. I have to explain the most basic flaws in your posts every day. FYI none of that shit means what you think it does. The 47.6% of hospitalizations and deaths that you are talking about are not in proportion to the percentage of vaxed people today. That's a cumulative number which dates back to Dec 14 2020, and it obviously includes a long period of time when nearly 100% of Canadians were unvaxed. Right now, day-to-day, 85% of the people who are dying of covid are unvaxed. I'm not trying to be mean here, but you're honestly a really stupid person Hodad. If you can explain to me why approximately 100% of the people who died of covid between Dec 14 2020 and Dec 31 2020 were unvaxed, I'll continue explaining this to you.

Here they are again: The unvaccinated account for 40.8% of cases but account for 47.6% of hospitalizations and deaths. Those with standard vaccination account for 32% of the cases but only 19.9% of hospitalizations and 16.8% of deaths. ^^ An unvaccinated person with COVID is much more likely to be hospitalized and to die.

The saying comes from the 1200s, so I guess they either pronounced "deserts" differently, spelled "desserts" differently, or the saying is supposed to be "just deserts" and we pronounce it incorrectly.
