When i read this i said i would man up and give the liberals kudos for doing something positive towards climate change, or at least an idea worth investigating Sorry Queen to steal your thunder, but it has been you who has been pushing this very subject. To the liberals out there "no" this does not mean we will be taking long hot showers together, nor will i be going to the dark side. I just thought it was worth pointing out. Well we have nobody to blame but ourselves, we the consumers have been constantly searching for cheaper shit, even when it is garbage in quality. And until we stand up as consumers and take the hit for higher prices, nothing will change. perhaps it is convincing business to move production out of China to a new more friendly nation, India, any Asian country. I can remember back in the day there was a huge government Push to buy Canadian, ads were everywhere.2 points

it's the native born Canadians who want handouts from the Liberals the immigrants who come here are the entrepreneurs, they start businesses, they make money, they don't need handouts the immigrants would never be satisfied with meagre government handouts the immigrants want to be rich it's like I have a close friend who came from Afghanistan, with literally nothing they were refugees first he worked at the meat packing plant then he was a pizza delivery driver then he started making the pizzas now he owns a chain of pizza shops, and he is far richer than I am1 point

Look some of these guys are so far behind the times they think not expanding oil production is the same as reducing it. It an inseparable part of their Climate denial, tax dollars should go to the rich not the people, there is only unfettered capitalism or Soviet communism, nothing in between beliefs.1 point

When there are plenty of witnesses that say that they saw this guy shoot that guy over there then there is no more need to have an investigation any further and there can be no conspiracy created out of it. The deed is done. No more questions needed to be heard or asked for. The killer is screwed. But if there is but one question that needs to be answered because something looks rather fishy around here, like with the twin towers coming down, then it needs to become an investigation and the possibility of a conspiracy happening here. There are way too many questions that needed to be answered after the twin towers came tumbling down. Some say it was planes that brought the towers down. But man firefighters have said that they heard what sounded like explosives going off in one of the garage floor towers. Do we have a conspiracy here? It certainly looks like it. Myself personally, It is my belief that this was a part of a conspiracy to bring down the twin towers because there are many questions still not yet answered. When firefighters said that they heard what sounded like explosives going off in one of the towers garage floors that should mean something when firefighters have something to say about it all. Conservatives always ask questions of the media and what they report on. Liberals always just believe and parrot what the media says or lies to them about. I cannot imagine what the world would be like if there were no conservatives around to ask questions. Conservatives can believe that conspiracy's do and can exist. Liberals are pretty much too brain dead to even think about asking questions. They just go along to get along. Look at how many Canadians think that Trudeau is doing a great job. Are these people trying to practice becoming stupid or are they just plain stupid? ?1 point

No, my logic is more fluid and contextual. In the case you suggest it's evidence of pigheaded ignorance and I have little sympathy for it. In the context I use surrounding a real issue like systemic racism it's just ignorance and a little more forgivable. I mean it when I say people's angst is associated with their attachment to things and directions that veer away from the attachment hurts, like a scab coming off to soon. I don't know why it's so hard for people to be more detached from institutions that made racism systemic without also acknowledging their liability for it where compensation or changes in our system are called for either by courts or thru negotiation. Government institutions are by design intended to carry and transmit societies values beyond the lifespans of the individuals governed by them so it stands to reason institutions should also keep carrying societies liabilities forward as well.1 point

Imagine if the leftist liberal Canadian media were to find out that the Canadian army was full of Nazi's? They would go absolutely ballistic over it and demand that the Canadian military clean house of these Nazi's. But yet the Canadian media knows very well that Zelensky's army is full of Nazi's but that seems to be okay with the Canadian media and they appear to support Zelensky all the time. The Canadian MSM will not condemn Zelensky for using Nazi's in his army. What a bunch of hypocrites that we have in the Canadian media. The Canadian media do like to pick and choose what they want to report on. Their bias is always showing. ? Beaver cleaver appears to support Zelenskys Nazi army alright. Zelensky all good, Putin all bad. ?1 point

Alright let's use your definition for a second, you can't be a terrorist without an extremist ideology, now tell me what these terrorists and these Canadians have in common, what in your opinion makes them extremists in the context that they would share this definition with terrorists' ideology. My argument was simple stating that the word extremist was over the top. Since when do we start describing Canadians as extremist becasue we do not share the same opinions on all topics. If that was the case then everyone on the left, right and center would be all extremists and the word would lose all its meaning would it not. Kind of like calling someone a NAZI, when they do not share or hold any of that group's ideology. You said terrorism describes violence, and yet this is exactly what the governments wanted everyone to think was going to happen, this is how they framed their narrative, this is how they tied other events to prove their theory's like the Nazi flag, apartment fire, attack on the unknown soldier's tomb, and of course the use of the word extremists, when really what we had was at worst clowns and idiots, that did not share the same opinions as most.1 point
-
It's a very poor argument. Extremist isn't the same word as terrorist, nor should it be considered as such. Extremism describes ideology. Terrorism describes violence, particularly for intimidation purposes. You can be an extremist without being a terrorist, though it's unlikely you'd be a terrorist without extremist ideology. This is a you thing, in that you the person (rather than "us the people") can't/won't make the distinction. Pat King and Tamara Lich can be fairly described as extremists. They cannot be described as terrorists, nor do I think anyone actually thinks they could be. When we consider clowns like these, we aren't worried they're going to bomb parliament. We just think they're idiots.1 point

Here's the problem with that theory. He was such an activist about everybody entering the Capitol building. Why didn't he enter himself? And why was there never any charges against him when so many protestors were imprisoned as political prisoners for so much less? The best example would be the grandmother who was sentenced to 6 months for some bogus charge they pulled out Garland's sleazy, commie butt called "Parading."1 point

More to the point, "no trade" with China would tank the economy, period. Populists suggest that we should make everything domestically. And as to where the Capital would come from to create this home side industry, and how it would be managed, the answer has to be massive government intervention in markets. So revealing, this paradox. They hate Trudeau, and yet under this vision he would lead Soviet Canuckistan, and decide who wins and loses...1 point

It is more expensive and it is at times hard to find a product not made in China. That does not mean I will not go out of my way to find them...if I can. My point Flyer, is that we made this mess by being short sighted. "Oh look...$2 shirts." We eat up the cheap-assed crap and think we've done well for ourselves, but have unknowingly hurt our own nation. "Oh look...we can have that made in China for half the price." But do the savings make it to the Canadian consumer? Like the entirety of western civilization, we've opted for cheap-assed crap and huge corporate profits...and have dug ourselves into a massive hole. I want to dig us out of that hole. I cannot accept this current situation, as it is not good for our nation in the long run.1 point

Lets be realistic. It is not a matter of rolling over, it is a matter of looking sideways and seeing reality. China is into our domestic systems and products as well. Buying clothes, even designer ones, are more often than not made in china. Most of the pots pans and dishes are made in china. Almost all your car parts are made in China. Your shrimp cocktail is most likely made with Chinese farm raised shrimp. On top of that, we get many things from the US and they are made in China and just routed through the US. We import almost $50 billion from China every year Chinese owned and controlled businesses here in Canada is huge. So, maybe living with products not made in China may be doable but not affordable.1 point

I don't know what "most" conservatives believe about 9/11. I do know that the 9/11 report is full of shite and redactions. Once again though, we witness the Libbie need to OBEY AND CONFORM to their edicts.1 point

Both sides of the aisle have fringes, (kind of.) There is the alt right. They use the same identity politics that the left uses. Thing is, the mainstream left itself is a group of goose stepping ignorant extremists. The only sane people in America are the vast majority of mainstream conservatives. We're the ones who work for a living.1 point

Most of the so-called “conservatives” on this site like @Nationalistamd @taxmedo in fact believe 911 was an inside job. Most of the rest like @DogOnPorchrefuse to say which means they just ashamed to admit it or are truther-curious1 point

To be honest, a weak man would have knuckled under to Trump’s demands. Pence instead followed his principles and the law. By the way, Trump lost the 2020 election. In fact, Joe Biden kicked his ass, won the White House, the House, AND the Senate. Trump is a Big Loser and the Republican leaders know if.1 point

Its a lie that Ukraine did anything to “make a mortal enemy” out of Russia other than exercise it’s right for freedom. And it’s a lie that anything entitles Russia to invade. If you call Tyson the N word and he assaults you, Tyson goes back to jail…again. That’s how the rule of law works, not that someone like you understands or cares about that. The rest of your post is just your usual toxic slurry of lies, ignorance nonsense and racism.1 point

It's hard to believe you're not a Putin Jock-Sniffer when you actually think elections held in a war zone by gun point are legitimate. I'm shocked you're not aware that the Korean War was never formally ended. ? https://www.nationalgeographic.com/history/article/why-korean-war-never-technically-ended It's tiring that you still think neighbouring nations should do nothing in the face of Russian aggression. No troops are fighting in Ukraine and Military Aid for an outcome that's in your interest is nothing new. See what Iran and Syria are doing for Russia, Are you cool with that?1 point
