So what we learned today: -Convoy organizers and their lawyers had a deal with the city where they would move trucks from downtown. -102 trucks had been moved prior to invoking of the Emergencies Act and they continued to move vehicles until being baracaded in -The PMO was notified of the deal via texts and emails -The protest would continue with much of downtown cleared but for in front of the PMO office -Trudeau decided to throw a tantrum knowing this would embarass him using state violence to break up the protest. But nah let's not call the man baby a tyrant3 points

The story from the WH is that no one was left behind. Apparently a holdover from when they were a more legitimate operation. The book that he was writing was quite unflattering to the people who'd like you to believe that Biden didn't leave Americans and Afghan allies behind in Afghanistan.3 points

Now that the Emergencies Act narrative has officially fallen apart, what's the fallout for the lil tyrant at the PMO? The Emergencies Act, formerly known as the War Measures Act, suspends all rights in the face of a national threat I.e terrorist activity. Its obvious there was no grounds to invoke the Act, yet was used as justification for false imprisonment and political violence against his adversaries. Should Trudeau go on trial for war crimes?2 points

What war was the country in that would qualify this as a "war" crime? What section in the Criminal Code did they allegedly contravene that would qualify this as a "crime?" If there was no war and no crime, how do you get a "war crime?"2 points

No, I've been a Conservative activist all my adult life. I am a retired Peace Officer. I believe in law and order. Does that make me a communist? What did you see in my post that could lead you to think I was a communist? Did I advocate the leaders of the occupation be taken out into the forest and shot? That is what a communist would do. Did I advocate the rest of the participants be shipped to a labour camp (gulag) in northern Saskatchewan, never to be heard from again? That's what a communist would do. Maybe you need to read some books by Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn. Then get back to us about communism.2 points

The FBI and the DOJ are indeed weapons of the globalist. Same with the CIA IMO. But in less than 3 weeks, people like JD Vance and Kari Lake will begin to turn things back to fair. Oh the Tweenkies will scream and howl but...who cares anymore. Pelosi is gonna lose her treasured gavel. I think Chucky Schumer will be out in the cold too. What comes around...goes around. Cold and as vindictive as the Tweenkies have been. Enjoy the mid-terms people.2 points

You literally just said this in your previous post: Mr "I hate oil" is suddenly gonna do all that? Is it time for you to admit that he's severely retarded now?2 points

We sure are. The left on this forum won't respond to this story until their main stream sources tell them what to say. So many can not think for themselves anymore.2 points

In April of this year, the FBI raided the home of an ABC producer. His colleagues say they haven’t seen him since. https://www.rollingstone.com/politics/politics-features/fbi-raid-abc-news_producer-1234613619/ “And no one straddled both worlds quite like Meek, an Emmy-winning deep-dive journalist who also was a former senior counterterrorism adviser and investigator for the House Homeland Security Committee. To his detractors within ABC, Meek was something of a “military fanboy.” But his track record of exclusives was undeniable, breaking the news of foiled terrorist plots in New York City and the Army’s coverup of the fratricidal death of Pfc. Dave Sharrett II in Iraq, a bombshell that earned Meek a face-to-face meeting with President Obama.”1 point

Again, it’s ALWAYS LIES WITH YOU. One Federal Court rules that there must be carbon impact assessments and the other rules that there cannot be. Whose fault is that? The oil industry’s. They’re the ones who filed all the lawsuits that created this mess.1 point

Though I would love to see the Iranian regime fall and never understood why we made enemies out of the Persians, you cheapen your arguments calling it a "satanic republic". That sort of ubiquitous hyperbole signals that you're not to be taken seriously, even if you otherwise have intelligent things to say.1 point

Well the Herbies of the world have been allowed into the control room and the adults have left. I hope Canadians start asking themselves, after several years of the lunatics running the asylum, whether they think Canada is a better place now. I’ve never seen such a rapid decline. I thought the early 90’s debt crisis and recession were bad. I thought the late 70’s were bad. What he have now is not just economic decline, but the deterioration of our social moral fabric, culture, and democratic rights on an unprecedented scale. Canada is becoming China with a woke-green activist face.1 point

There's NO WAY Floridians want our amazing governor to go ANYWHERE before he serves his second term. Yes, he would be the perfect running mate for Trump and would easily slide into the presidency for eight years. And he would continue the Trump success. Frankly, I'd like to see a Trump/Cruz ticket. That combination would win in a landslide and really piss off the entitled, triggered Woke idiots.1 point

Rupa Subramanya: Justin Trudeau's case against the Freedom Convoy falls on its face How are our elected officials who purvey what can only be called misinformation be held to account? It’s striking how many public officials, including outgoing Ottawa mayor Jim Watson, outgoing city councillor Mathieu Fleury, and would be mayor Catherine McKenney, made strong claims that the protesters were violent and destructive. For example, Watson claimed that protesters were ripping masks off local residents, but when challenged under cross examination, he admitted he didn’t see this himself but heard about it in media reports. This was a refrain from many of the public officials making these assertions about the protesters, and when challenged referred to hearing about it in the media. This was a classic case of the tail wagging the dog, as some media reports were largely parroting the narrative of the public officials without providing much if any documentary evidence. Without doubt, the most important witness to date has been Pat Morris, who is intelligence chief of the Ontario Provincial Police. If anyone would know if the protesters were dangerous, it would have to be Morris. However, in his testimony, he was very clear that the OPP had produced no intelligence that the protesters would be armed, describing much of the rhetoric around the protests as “hyperbole” and “sensationalized.” In its totality, his testimony shredded the idea that the Ottawa protesters were anything like the insurrectionists who stormed Capitol Hill in Washington on Jan. 6, 2021. Morris’s testimony also put paid to the notion that the protesters were an irrational and crazy fringe who had no good reason to be in Ottawa. On the contrary, he acknowledged the “multitude of grievances” of the protesters, whom he described as comprising of regular citizens with a “large degree of support” across the country. He saw them as group that was “organic” and “grassroots.” So much for Trudeau’s fringe minority of crazies. https://nationalpost.com/opinion/rupa-subramanya-justin-trudeaus-case-against-the-freedom-convoy-falls-on-its-face1 point

Here's some facts brother. It was raided because he stole docos. It had nothing to do with biden whatsoever and the DOJ confirmed that. Your problem is you still worship the treasonous fascist and want nothing done about it. He should be in jail and will be. I suppose you think the j6 enquiry is a witch hunt also. Keep believing that because those rednecks who are in jail now don't think it's a witch hunt. 5 people died as a result of that for no reason. But I suppose you think it is only collateral damage for supporting a fascist takeover. Yet you call yourselves patriots. Don't make me vomit.1 point

Conservatives are not more susceptible on conspiracy theories, but rather the Republican Party has resorted to conspiracy theories to broaden its base as traditional “conservatism” and the religious right continues to shrink. And over tome the conspiracies have just gotten more and more outlandish because it brings in fresh blood from people who were previously non-partisan, non-voting or who were even Democrats. Many of the MAGA conspiracy believers supporting Trump are not really “conservative” by any commonly definition of conservatism. It’s not even fair to call current MAGA conspiracy nonsense “theories” there’s so little substance or coherence to them. A “theory” is more or less a complete and coherent story that is simply unproven and could be untrue, but all this bullshit with Obama’s birth certificate and the “BIG LIE” and the “Deep State” and Sandy Hook and Ukrainian Nazi bioweapons is just fragmented bullshit, you couldn’t assemble it into a coherent theory to argue if you tried. To say these beliefs are full of holes would be an insult to Swiss cheese. They are not theories they are superstitions.1 point

The BC NDP is 100% responsible for Canadian Law and the Supreme Court of Canada's ruling. Also for the weather and if the hard drive in your Chinese computer dies. Just like Trudeau is for if your pancakes rise; so say the ill informed and Kevin Falcon. Of course no one wants violent repeat offenders released like this, but they're already doing premiers-feds talks. Should get fixed sometime this century. In the meantime, they need to stop yakking and re-OPEN the Institutions for these wackos. Get them off the damn streets! Quit pretending they're all just hard on luck and deal with the mental patients first.1 point

At some point Canada became the most extreme example of all the dystopian experiments we used to mock in parts of Europe: the most permissive euthanasia, the most permissive hard drug tolerance, the most permissive abortion laws, the most permissive gender surgery laws, the making illegal and “against human rights” of anyone who questions these radical and reckless policies. Our compelled speech laws and banning of unpleasant protests are especially Orwellian. Canada is becoming a dystopia.1 point

BC has a bleeding heart NDP government. Combine that with the federal liberal's soft-on-crime laws and courts explains the mess in B.C. This is a big issue for the new incoming Premier in B.C. who has recently made a disastrous decision while he was attorney general. He heard the complaints from mayors of B.C. cities about the widespread numbers of repeat offenders being arrested and immediately released and decided to send the matter to a committee for investigation months ago, further shirking his responsibility to take real action. I don't hold out much hope that he will take real action when he becomes Premier shortly. Vancouver threw out it's mayor recently because of the daily crime and assaults and elected a tougher-on-crime mayor, Ken Sim. He will hire 100 more police plus a large number of mental health workers. But it takes the provincial government to make meaningful changes such as keeping offenders behind bars or placed in mental institutions if there are any. Cities cannot do that.1 point

Wow, that's just a swirl of stupidity and misinformation. Biden snuffed US oil production because it's bad, then he had to dump the SOR because the combination of his idiotic actions spiked inflation, then he had to beg dictators to increase production, now he has to cut deals to get more oil. Make sense of this however you will: Biden is a complete idiot who has harmed America 6 ways from Sunday and yet somehow everything he does seems brilliant to you......1 point

It's not something I'll lose any sleep over but it's disappointing that accusations like being a fascist or racist are so easily used these days. And most of those casting these baseless accusations have never experienced fascism or real racism. These words are so overused now that people are just shrugging it off, it's the new normal. In this forum, I think they (primarily leftists) do it because they can't stomach the fact that anyone can dare to disagree with them.1 point

He knows that despite the damage that fossil fuels are doing, they're not going away any time soon and therefore they must be accommodated cause 100s of millions depend on them. You can’t really ask these people questions like “why would…”. That would imply that they use some sort of logic or philosophy or reasoning to believe what they believe, or have some sort of coherent explanation for this claims they put out there. They don’t They just believe as absolute fact whatever statements their mullahs tell them to believe and they don’t even attempt to rationalize it or make sense of it. They just memorize the talking point so they can repeat verbatim into forums like this one.1 point

Yes invading is definitely wrong. You can't bomb people into democracy. Any nation no matter how pro western they may be when bombs falling on their heads will turn against the invaders, BUT the regime and its members must be sanctioned and more importantly negotiations with these murderous regime must ceased immediately (on nuclear deal or trade or any other way) and embassies of this murderous child killer regime must all closed and the ambassadors kicked out. They do not represent Iran or Iranians but a bunch of terrorists who have taken this nation hostage and have occupied their country. Do not shake hands with these mass murderers and child killers. Do not shake their hands and do not negotiate with them. By doing so you recognize them as a governing body representing Iranians. This is a betrayal to Iranians and your values. Close their embassies and kick out their ambassadors.1 point
