  1. Is that a constant statistic for Denmark? This link states that the numbers are kind of sketchy since other more reliable sources of energy are often greatly lowered in order for wind to be able to produce more. A great wind, or not? - Climate Discussion Nexus Even the piece in North American Windpower, which is an industry advocate that greets readers with such gems as “DOE’s Equity Action Plan Includes Clean Energy Program Investments”, concedes that “The average capacity factor of U.S. wind generators (35% in 2021) is lower than the average capacity factor of nuclear generators (93% in 2021), which are designed to run at or near full output, which they typically do…. In the United States, wind speeds, and correspondingly, wind-powered electricity generation, often peak during spring…. Because electricity demand tends to be lowest in the spring and fall months, some generators – including both nuclear and coal – reduce their output or schedule maintenance during these months. Also, on days when weather patterns lead to more wind generation, competing coal-fired and natural gas-fired generators often are called upon to reduce their output so that overall electricity supply matches demand.” The last sentence is the giveaway. The reason wind outpowered other sources is that they were turned down on purpose to let wind prevail because it is so inflexible as well as expensive. Frankly just about anybody can outsell their competitors if their competitors are ordered by the government to sell less so they can sell more. But what is to become of the consumer, the power grid and even government finances if it turns out that people cannot build wind turbines unless their operators are allowed to charge much higher prices than other types of energy need to?

  2. What the Marxist government in Ottawa did to those truckers and their supporters should never be forgotten. The other truckers who kept working were truckers who could careless about their own rights and freedoms. They were a bunch of wimps and cowards. What was done to those truckers and their supporters by having their bank accounts and credit cards frozen was a crime against all Canadians. Only communists would do something like that. But you are not bright enough to see the communism in all of this. Probably because you are a communist? I would sure love to see the day when the communists in Ottawa froze your bank account over something. I don't think that you would like that happening to you, eh? Because it happened to someone else that you do not care about, well that is okay with you. You are the loser alright. Well, if I keep blathering away at you well then why don't you just stop replying to my posts then? What is wrong with you? Are you a sucker and do you keep enjoying me kicking your butt? Shut the hell up and go away. Goodbye. ?

  3. Climate change alarmists want the rest of us to pay through the nose for oil and gas AND they want us to pay for subsidies to purchase their virtue signalling ev's. Can anyone explain why 99.99% of the politicians and uber wealthy celebrities make no effort to lower their own carbon footprint? We are constantly lectured by these fools about climate change.

  4. OK...how has this scary monster called "climate change" cost Canada billions? BTW...have you not noticed yet that the term "climate change" is not only dumb as hell, but also so generalized as to be true under any and all circumstances? mah...the climate changes. It does this regularly...daily in fact. The tradewinds shift...the planet shifts...the oceans warm and cool...and shite happens...as it ALWAYS has. This is a man-made emergency which stinks like an excuse to trash the western world. Nothing more and nothing less.

  5. And it's not just the unvaxxed, who Trudeau wanted everyone to hate on. There's a lot of tweets from people who had 2 shots, say they were coerced or lose their jobs and that they refuse to take any more. Lots of people tweeting they had one shot and had serious adverse reactions and refused to take another. People were so indoctrinated with terror and things happened so fast, that they didn't have time to learn about the actual science. 2 years in and the science is clear. Hopefully we don't get fooled again.

  9. I think they're already panicking. ? BC has had a very normal summer with none of the vaunted climate change we hear so much about. It has been a splendid September so far. Perfect temperatures...a bit of rain...lots of sunshine. Obama has a huge estate on Martha's Vineyard recently purchased that we've all been seeing lately...right on the ocean. Must be a 'climate denier'.

  10. If you had the intelligence to know the facts, you’d be flabbergasted at how stupid you are for posting that moronic meme. 1) MMGW is a real crisis which is upon us today. 2) Coal is only 20% of US electrical generation 3) Even when the electricity comes from coal, gross carbon emissions are lower. You’re the people destroying America, and you’re just too damn stupid to realize it. Either that, or you’re committed to evil. One or the other. Most likely stupid. You’re just too stupid to realize that all-time high temperatures around the world, catastrophic hurricanes destroying New Orleans, Puerto Rico, the Bahamas, etc., massive, unprecedented ice storms shutting down Texas, largest-ever wildfires over and over… each of these events cost over $20 billion and you think renewable energy is too expensive and it just makes people feel good. Not to mention wars in Iraq. Man, you are just an idiot.

  13. OMG, so you're just acknowledging that you don't understand percentages. Scientific American's article, and your vaunted new catchphrase 'base rate fallacy', would have applied if I was saying "There are twice as many covid deaths among the vaxed, that's proof that the vax doesn't work!" and you came back with "Nearly 6x as many people are vaxed, so the number of deaths are way out of proportion to the number of unvaxed! You just belched out a base rate fallacy, magnificent one! I finally got one up on you!!!" Here's the thing though, there are 5.666 times as many covid deaths among the multi-vaxxed and there are 5.666 times as many multi-vaxxed people. Do you get it? 85% vaxed and 85% of our deaths are among the vaxed. It's the exact same thing that you'd expect if you gave 85% of the people a Pflacebo. They die at the exact same rate as the unvaxed. SIMPLE MATH. VERY, VERY SIMPLE percentages. Yet you still don't even understand it after having it explained to you twice.

  14. quote British multiculturalists are feeding Islamic fundamentalism. Muslims do not need to become the majority in the UK; they just need gradually to Islamize the most important cities. The change is already taking place. British personalities keep opening the door to introducing Islamic sharia law. One of the leading British judges, Sir James Munby, said that Christianity no longer influences the courts and these must be multicultural, which means more Islamic. Rowan Williams, the former Archbishop of Canterbury, and Chief Justice Lord Phillips, also suggested that the English law should "incorporate" elements of sharia law. British universities are also advancing Islamic law. The academic guidelines, "External speakers in higher education institutions", provide that "orthodox religious groups" may separate men and women during events. At the Queen Mary University of London, women have had to use a separate entrance and were forced to sit in a room without being able to ask questions or raise their hands, just as in Riyadh or Tehran. "London is more Islamic than many Muslim countries put together", according to Maulana Syed Raza Rizvi, one of the Islamic preachers who now lead "Londonistan", as the journalist Melanie Phillips has called the English capital. No, Rizvi is not a right-wing extremist. Wole Soyinka, a Nobel Laureate for Literature, was less generous; he called the UK "a cesspit for Islamists". "Terrorists can not stand London multiculturalism", London's mayor Sadiq Khan said after the recent deadly terror attack at Westminster. The opposite is true: British multiculturalists are feeding Islamic fundamentalism. Above all, Londonistan, with its new 423 mosques, is built on the sad ruins of English Christianity. The Hyatt United Church was bought by the Egyptian community to be converted to a mosque. St Peter's Church has been converted into the Madina Mosque. The Brick Lane Mosque was built on a former Methodist church. Not only buildings are converted, but also people. The number of converts to Islam has doubled; often they embrace radical Islam, as with Khalid Masood, the terrorist who struck Westminster. unquote Londonistan: 423 New Mosques; 500 Closed Churches :: Gatestone Institute Is this the destiny for Canada? CBC appears to be a strong advocate for Islam and Multiculturalism in the people they have hosting programs and pundits commenting on politics. Some immigrants in Canada have been on television recently during the Queen's death coverage and some saying we should get rid of the Constitutional monarchy even though they must have sworn allegiance to her majesty in order to obtain citizenship. Meanwhile the government continues to bring in immigrants who are not sincere about being loyal to our Constitutional monarchy.

  15. As per NASA, the earth is not on a turtle's back. But, they are white supremacists who work in an organization rooted in systemic racism so what do they know? Imagine people doing land acknowledgements that recognize " turtle Island"? Sounds like a cult. If you use a wheel or a wheel like product, thank colonialism. The wheel did not exist in pre Colonial Americas. Nor did electricity, roads, hospitals, schools, cars, planes, gas/ectric heated homes, refrigerators. If you are not Indigenous, you are a settler and you are in Canada because you love colonialism. You cannot be a non indigenous person living in Canada and enjoying the wonders of European arrival and claim to be be against colonialism and to be pro Indigenous people. If you are a pro Indigenous settler, leave Canada, hand over your land and stop using Indigenous water, air, and resources. Be honest. If you believe that the earth sits on the back of a turtle, let me sell you the myth of systemic racism and white privilege too! Donate millions to radical violent organizations so they can buy luxury houses! And, you can virtue signal on social media what a hero you are! If you want to honour the pre Colonial way, like the Aztecs and human sacrifices and slavery. Slavery in the Pacific Northwest developed at some point between 500 B.C. and A.D. 500, long before European contact, and at contact, slaves were clearly set apart from the existing tribal ranking system and prestige-seeking in the region. Early indigenous peoples also possessed other practices that predated contact with the British and Europeans: cannibalism and the killing of slaves, the latter of which also occurred and for a variety of reasons: funeral feasts, the building of a new home, a new title, the erection of a totem pole, or as part of the ceremony at potlatches. A Russian Orthodox priest recounted how in one Sitka ceremony where a new clan chief was appointed, four slaves were strangled as part of the ritual. Ah...the good ole days. Migwetch

  16. By that standard I was a wimp too. I could have stopped closed up shop and driven from Langley to Ottawa and slept in my car for a few weeks. I just wasn't in any position to be able to do that. Kids, mtg, etc. The people who travelled a long way to Ottawa are exceptional, probably the best of our generation. They'll be remembered long after you and I are goners.

Side note: why do leftists act like wearing a hijab in the western world is "supporting women's rights" when the hijab is the world's foremost symbol of religious bigotry and misogyny? The hijab is so drenched in violence and hate that it makes the wife-beater look like a symbol of hope.

  25. No, the fact is that in Canada, the country where you and I both live, 85% of people are multi-vaxed and they make up 85% of the deaths. The unvaxed die at the exact same rate per 100,000 people here, in our country. That is what a Pflacebo looks like. The death stats are there in black and white. 85% of our deaths are from the vaxed.

  28. Hmm, you are starting to sound like one of those desperate ones who think the world will be destroyed if we don't act NOW!!! Hehe. So EV cars take the same load as an air conditioner, eh? Hold on there, hoss, there are small ac units using just a few amps,, and then there are big ones that need a 30 amp 240 volt hook up. Which AC units are you referring to? Checking into the matter, it looks like EV chargers need a 240 volt source, and up to 30 amps, like a clothes dryer uses. If everybody switches over to EV's, we are going to need a lot more capacity in our grid. More nuclear, more Hydo electric, and more coal. That seems kind of counter productive, doesn't it? Except it's a world emergency, right? So don't think, just buy what the environmental nazis are telling you to buy, dammit! Good luck with that one...

  40. Not really. What was attractive was the power and strength. Sure there’s a flaw to be fixed. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not promoting dominance or servitude. I’m saying that there are biochemical and physiological realities that make a mockery of some of our ideas about the fluidity of gender and the incorrect idea that gender is just a social construct. Biology informs much of what we establish as social norms. That doesn’t mean that there won’t be outliers, but that’s what they are. If we ignore the norms, stop recognizing traditional female and male qualities, and pretend that they’re all a choice and don’t have value to most people, that’s a lie and a disservice to the children we’ve been entrusted to raise as healthy and strong individuals. Does it mean that females and males can’t take on roles traditionally associated with the other gender? Of course not, though I don’t think it’s advisable to play with human hormones and reproductive systems unless necessary. Reconfiguring men to be able to give birth is probably a terrible idea.
