Yes and there’s very odd institutional behaviour at the federal level and in some institutions. People are made to mask up in federal offices no matter what the provincial jurisdictions allow (though in Quebec federal workers can’t provide services in English under new provincial legislation). Western University requires students to get a third booster AND wear masks. The Ontario Human Rights Commission (AKA woke far-left identity politics bureau) is supporting this trouncing of individual rights. Freedom continues to be under attack in Canada. Our federal government leads the attack, which is why this government disgusts me and Canada is losing its stature and claim to be a liberal democracy.3 points

The department involved will have a record of any declassification. How the hell can anyone know if something has been declassified and OK to circulate if there is no record of it. Why would anyone in their right mind release a secret document if they didn't have written authorization to do so? You guys are living in some kind of cloud cuckoo universe.2 points

I just had a nice breakfast, hit some balls at the driving range, spent about ten minutes on the putting green, and then got my ass kicked by my wife. She had 5 pars and a birdie on 9 holes. I couldn't hit a green in regulation to save my life. Best of all, there's about 13 more hours left of this day to hear about it over and over agin lol ?2 points

You act as if you're terrified of our government. But it is just dramatizing you're engaged in right or did you honestly believe Trudeau was only mere hours away from using tanks to crush the truckers convoy?2 points

Get a load of what Kari Lake said, I think yesterday. The summary would be that questioning 2016 makes you a good democrat. Questioning 2020 makes you a traitor, according to Dems or the MSM.2 points

they've done it ad nauseum after 2000, 2004 and 2016 and after the 2018 Georgia gubernatorial election they bitched about it constantly leading up to 2020 then only after they won was it a conspiracy to question election integrity at all basically they whine about election integrity every time they lose an election, especially if it's a close apparently you only notice when Trump does it2 points

Yet there were very concerning developments that validate the concerns of “conspiracy theorists”: Schwab’s claim to have penetrated more than half the Canadian Cabinet the maintenance of the ArriiveCan app as a digital travel ID containing all sorts of personal data that was never required pre-pandemic and aligns with a WEF digital travel ID plan to which Canada is a signatory the unprecedented freezing of bank accounts of political opponents the refusal of government to meet with protesters of vaccine mandates, the public denigration of them (as “racists” and “misogynists” with “unacceptable views” and “Do we make a space for these people?”) the declaration of the Emergencies Act and attempt to reinstate it after border blockades had been removed the criminalization of a political protest and the laying of charges against protesters including the seizure of assets and removal of business licenses Trudeau’s speech about a Great Reset and his and Freeland’s heavy involvement with the WEF as Young Global Leaders Given the continued maintenance of inane travel policies and restrictions, as well as a persistent application of carbon taxes in a high inflation, high fuel cost environment, how can we not see Trudeau’s government as beholden to unaccountable international organizations and interests? Don’t you think it’s dangerously dismissive to write it all off as conspiracy theory? Governments have to protect sovereignty and accountability to voters. Too many sketchy events have taken place. I haven’t even mentioned the reckless biohazard/weapon joint ventures with China. Either Trudeau is naive, stupid, or consciously supporting certain international interests that haven’t received the support of Canadian voters. Probably all three. We certainly don’t have a transparent account of our government members’ discussions with bodies like the WEF. ESG stakeholder capitalism is another movement of which many Canadians are unaware. It ties corporate and business interests together and uses fluffy feel good virtuous language as a means of consolidating power and offloading costs and restrictions onto citizens and consumers to meet goals cooked up by international think tanks (elites). Our government has signed onto global central planning in a big way. Many Canadians including myself believe that this undermines citizens’ rights, adds more power to the powerful, and undermines our national sovereignty. It needs to stop and the Conservatives have a very valid criticism here. Lewis, Poilievre, Baber, and others are rightly sounding the alarm. The left used to express such concerns. So much has changed.2 points

This is sort of starting to smack of desperation. Why are they so desperate to get as many shots in everyone as fast as possible? When it came out that Trudeau had bought 10 shots for every Canadian, I wondered how he was going to convince people to do that in such a short time period. Now I see it being played out - scare them, take away their jobs/careers if they don't comply, demonize any who dissent......2 points

Victorian Canadian society had a solution, passed down from the middle ages it was called chivalry qualities expected of an ideal knight, especially courage, honour, courtesy, justice, and a readiness to help the weak. but males are no longer raised with these ideals2 points

"It began when an opinion article published in 2016 on the WEF's website — entitled "Welcome to 2030. I own nothing, have no privacy, and life has never been better" and intended, its author says, as "a discussion about some of the pros and cons of the current technological development" — started getting attention in 2020, after WEF founder and chairman Klaus Schwab wrote his own opinion piece arguing for something he called "the great reset." These opinion pieces represent two of a number of diverse viewpoints the WEF commissions and publishes, Monck said. The "great reset" has since morphed into a conspiracy theory claiming that a cabal of global elites is planning to remake society to eliminate private property and impose an authoritarian global government." https://www.msn.com/en-ca/news/canada/world-economic-forum-official-says-canada-has-bigger-issues-to-discuss-than-conspiracy-theories/ar-AA11qBVk?ocid=EMMX&cvid=bb4f7519dfda48a6b94da04e4c11d4242 points

I see what you're getting at. And yes, this is one of the things why lawsuits have been and will continue to be successful. If the mandate or requirement is there when you are hired, you can choose to work there or not. But employers cannot add a mandate after you're already there and if they do, they must compensate you if you leave and you can collect EI. Yes, I work. I have a great job with a boss who also sees the BS so jabbers and masks have never been required and won't ever be. Good thing too - the jabbed ones at work are barely healthy enough to work right now and they're 10-20 years younger than me.1 point

Not quite. Dippers are going to choose mostly Libs as their alternate. Greens are going to choose NDP or Lib. How much will Cons gain from Bernier's supporters and Christian Heritage? Not enough! Though an STV result would more accurately reflect the will of the people than FPTP1 point

You clearly didn't watch the video posted above with Kari Lake in which she pointed out that Democrats had little faith in the integrity of the US electoral system prior to 2020. I've asked this question many times in this forum and have yet to get anyone on the left to admit the Democrats are total hypocrites in this regard. And the clips I've seen of Biden's speech tell me that he has absolutely no interest in unity. He'll continue to lie and demonize his opponents. I almost forgot to mention that The Big Guy will continue to rake in lot's of cold, hard cash thanks to the thriving family business.1 point

The evidence which the FBI gathered is evidence of several crimes. Remember when you VOTED for a guy who said that mishandling our nation’s secrets was “the worst crime”? And now you’re like, “What crime?” We get the nonsense: It’s a crime if a Democrat does it, but not if a Republican does it. What a joke.1 point

If you're being honest, the electoral system is corrupt, because the Dems are doing everything in their power to make it corrupt. They are trying to ban voter ID, allow illegals to vote, they want mass mail-in ballots and ballot farming, they don't want signature matching to be a requirement for mail-ins, they want to allow mail-ins to show up several days after the election, etc. Which one of the Dems' proposed changes isn't fraud-friendly, Aristedes? I defy you to name one of those changes and tell me how it improves election integrity...1 point

see how Chrystia Freeland cannot even be shouted at by another Canadian without the Liberal pseudo aristocracy & associated cronies invoking that as "criminal" because they not only fancy themselves as being above the law they fancy themselves to be above the masses, as a kind of Nobility, separate & above the Hoi Polloi hence all the double standards, one rule for them, another rule for you & I1 point

well I do respect your views on the matter but could you clarify exactly what you are indicting Freeland for ? are you saying that she is a National Socialist and/or Nazi sympathizer ? or if not, what is her specific offence vis a vis her support of Ukrainian nationalism ?1 point

I just read this for the first time. It's simply a call to keep capitalism, by tuning it to social goals. It's a fair starting point for discussion, so I assume it's only used to propagate conspiracy theories due to its provocative title. Really it's same old stuff...1 point

Being threatened by someone 6" taller and 75 lbs heavier is scary. Women are beat up by men every day - even army women get raped by their brothers-in-arms - so to say that if women just stand up for themselves, they'll be fine is the height of ignorance. Your hatred of Trudeau/Liberals has made you stupid. As for my neighbor, I did not back down, but doesn't mean I wasn't scared. And me sticking up for myself didn't stop him.1 point
-
It's a lot simpler than that - it's the absence of overt expressions of hatred that really gets under your skin. Anything less than that is love to you. This could be an opportunity for you to consider how its your own mind that is far far more likely to trick you. Your belief that some vast network of media conglomerates is waving pom poms for Trudeau is a case of you suspending your own natural capacity for disbelief and replacing it with hooey. Self-delusion is way more powerful than any sort of mind control or brainwashing.1 point

Gas prices have fallen every day for the last 79 days! Way to go, Biden! And the awesome United States of America is shipping billions of dollars worth of weapons to Ukraine to stop Putin. Trump wouldn’t send Ukraine anything, unless he could get some dirt on Biden in return. No quid pro quo, Ukraine, no ammo. I’m so glad that we have Biden leading the free world in a United boycott against Putin and the armament of Ukraine. Trump attacked NATO and hated democratic leaders like Macron, Trudeau, and Merkel. He liked loser dictators and fascists like Putin and Bolsonaro.1 point
