That person is charged with a crime relating to these groups. We could also compare it to a person charged with Fraud, not being able to own a business for a period of time.3 points

1. Not hysterics. She has her speech severely limited and is now in jail for apparently talking to somebody at a public gala. She also had prosecutors trying to toss her in jail over accepting an award. You took away other rights might as well take away her religion too.. too dangerous for her to gather and sing some songs or recite the Lord's Prayer 2. For now she's locked away in a jail away from her family with no trial date in sight which ultimately will lead to acquital. Her punishment is working her way through a deeply flawed "justice" system who abuse the system for politics2 points

1. What ? No - they can do whatever they see fit and they don't have to justify it unless it's appealed to another court. 2. You keep saying 'can't' and yet here we are. 3. Old news. 4. Well judges get upset when you flout the law, ignore orders etc. It's called "finding out"2 points

“Originalist” is a made up term meant to lend legitimacy to people who literally want to roll back rights to the 18th century when America was an agricultural society ruled exclusively by wealthy land-owning white male aristocrats, and a time women weren’t even considered people under the law. We supposedly only have rights literally as they were described and imagined by these ancient elites over 200 years ago Except for guns.. when it comes to the 2nd amendment all pretence of that “originalist” bullshit conveniently goes right out the window and the sky’s the limit on creative interpretations and expanded application to modern weaponry.2 points

They way supreme court judges are nominated and vetted is all political, same in Canada. The philosophy of the judge will always be in line with the political leader in power. The problem is the "for life" appointment. Maybe not to prevent but to lessen the party affiliation and philosophy maybe judges should only be in office for 5 or so years.2 points

You don’t understand. Concealed carry permits aren’t found in the constitution either. These activist right wing judges creatively interpreted the 2nd amendment to include them. By the same way, being forced to carry and give birth to your rapists baby even if it kills you or prevents you from ever voluntarily having a baby of your own…such a law arguably “abridges the privileges or immunities of a citizen of the United States” and “deprives them of life, liberty, or property” as prohibited in the 14th amendment. Like I said you conveniently pick and chose when to interpret literally and when to interpret creatively in order to push your partisan agenda1 point

You need to stop playing stupid like a world champion. You need to understand that the leader of BLM in America was responsible for over $10 billion worth of looting and destruction that is still a long way from being repaired. Two dozen murders. Thousands of assaults. Over 2,000 police officers were injured. The loss of revenue from the BLM riots was larger than the total economic impact of blocking the Ambassador bridge by orders of magnitude, but it's small potatoes compared to the damage from BLM's burning and looting. BLM's leader got rich as a result. She wasn't charged or convicted of anything. The leader of the Freedom Convoy in Canada was responsible for zero assaults of civilians, zero murders, zero shops looted, zero cops assaulted, zero cops injured, zero statues torn down, zero statues defaced, zero buildings burnt down. She didn't get money at all. She did go to jail. So in America they allow lethal protests, which you support. In Canada you go to jail for protesting peacefully, but only if your protest is against a cause that the PM is in favour of. If your Canadian protest is far more damaging, but it's in favour of a cause that the PM likes to virtue signal about, you won't go to jail. It's called "Political Prisoners 101". The Nazis supported violent protests, like Kristallnacht, much in the same way that the dems and Libs supported the violence and carnage of BLM. Protesting against the Nazis got you beaten up, thrown in jail, bank accounts frozen, much in the same way that protesting against our Supreme Leader gets you beaten up, thrown in jail, bank accounts frozen.1 point

Or look at Germany, Ireland, Scandinavia, New Zealand, Australia etc. We should get used to coalitions while the major parties are strong. It’s a form of government that encourages compromise and seeing the other guy’s point of view, something sorely needed these days.1 point

OMG, so there was no scandal? Who knew? I thought that the PM fired an AG for not using the DPA law, and appointed a lackey. Oh yeah, I'm also right and you're an apologist for our fascist PM. Justice was thwarted. The lawful governance of our country was thrown under the bus. A first nations lady and stand-up Canadian was unceremoniously turfed for doing the right thing. Your description of those events is entirely lacking in candor, to a disgusting extent. 1) Fixed it for you. 2) In case you are actually unable to make the connection for some reason - the fact that Trudeau unlawfully exerts control over the AG and RCMP has a lot to do with why a judge turned Tamara Lich into a political prisoner.1 point

Yes they blame YOU for having your business looted and ransacked. That kid in the US, Kyle Rittenhouse, had to protect property being looted because the "men" in uniform refused to do what they were being paid to do. He gets arrested ... the looters and violent rioters go unpunished. Leftist justice1 point

When you have mounted police or police dogs approaching to enforce an order to clear the streets, the people are obligated to clear out. Go home. If they don't, they can't claim they were not aware of what was going to happen. The Police had to carry out the order by the court. I did have a laugh at some Americans who thought the Police were UN troops. ("They don't even speak English.") They even posted a photo of these UN Troops. When I enlarged the photo to show the SQ shoulder flashes, they still insisted they were "UN Troops." After all these months, I still haven't heard an explanation for why the occupiers were flying American flags. They called it a "Freedom" convoy, yet they fly a flag of a country that is removing their citizens' freedoms.1 point

The pseudovax was to weed out all the cops who would be non-compliant with the orders of the Prime Minister. All tyrants do the same. They had to bring in new police chiefs likely because the old ones wanted nothing to do with it1 point

Lol.. did your neighbor ever run for political office, lose, get appointed judge, then oversee a case where the defense was protesting their party's policies? What about get appointed over a sham house hearing for damage control after the party that he staffed invoked an extreme "Emergencies Act" with lies about police forces asking for assistance? The only reason Liberals ended it was to save themselves the embarrassment of the senate striking it down. This country's legal system is in trouble. The Liberals don't even have to hide it because folks are willing to accept it because "anti vaxxers bad" For a guy like Trudeau making a stink about people not wanting to see babies murdered in the womb he sure does love to control your body1 point

Effects of Previous Infection and Vaccination on Symptomatic Omicron Infections | NEJM This study was huge in scale, data collected from over 100,000 people infected by the Omicron variant. Here are the key points: Those who have been "fully vaccinated" with two shots from Moderna or Pfizer are more likely to contract Covid-19 than those who have not been vaccinated at all Booster shots offer protection approximately equal to natural immunity, but the benefits wane after 2-5 months Natural immunity lasts for at least 300-days, which is the length of the study; it likely lasts much longer Key take-away: Vaccination increases risk of COVID-19, but infection without vaccination gives immunity This jives with what the government of Canada is finally admitting, that 4 out of every 5 covid deaths since mid-February are vaccinated, with 70% of those deaths being among the triple-vaxxed. The study shows that: Those who had a prior infection but no vaccination had a 46.1 and 50 percent immunity against the two subvariants of the Omicron variant, even at an interval of more than 300 days since the previous infection. However, individuals who received two doses but had no previous infection, were found with negative immunity against both BA.1 and BA.2 Omicron subvariants, indicating an increased risk of contracting COVID-19 than an average person. Over six months after getting two doses of Pfizer, immunity against any Omicron infection dropped to -3.4 percent. For two doses of the Moderna vaccine it was even worse - immunity against any Omicron infection dropped to -10.3 percent after more than six months since the last injection. Negative immunity means your immune system is failing, which is what the censored scientists and doctors said would happen ? Although three doses of the Pfizer vaccine increased immunity to over 50 percent, this was measured over JUST 40 days after the third vaccination, which is a very short interval. In comparison, natural immunity persisted at around 50 percent when measured over 300 days after the previous infection, while immunity levels fell to negative figures 270 days after the second dose of vaccine. Individuals that were previously infected but not vaccinated had half the risks of reinfection as compared to those that were vaccinated with two doses but not infected.1 point

And which did Liche specifically violate? She personally did not park the vehicles. It's not her fault Ottawas infrastructure was ineffective in handling the traffic. Ottawa police were involved in directing traffic. She personally stayed in a hotel when in Ottawa. We've already established the government has lied about attempts to burn down apartment buildings. And both her and Barber are on video telling people to abide by court injunction. The case is a joke. Trudeau needs a scapegoat nothing more nothing less1 point

Both were conditions of her bail, not breaches of charter. She is stupid. She knowingly broke bail conditions. Stupid people do stupid things....TL is a perfect example. Baloney analogy.1 point

1. Stop being hysterical please. 2. She can make her case when the time comes but unfortunately the biased judges don't wear 'F*** Trudeau' t-shirts in the chamber so you likely think they are biased. Again - you can remove the judicial process when you get your dictatorship.1 point

TL absolutely is a political prisoner because she's in jail for things that people wouldn't be in jail for in other democratic societies. Think about the BLM riots, and how much disinformation BLM's leaders pumped into society to incite all of that bloodshed and widespread arson & looting: the leaders got rich off of it. The avowed marxist leader bought 4 houses. Zero charges against her, zero jail time. Tamara Lich didn't lie to anyone. The protest was against brutal government overreach which was clerly understood by all Canadians. Zero people were killed. Zero people were hurt. Zero businesses burned down. There was zero looting. The day that the protests ended it was like nothing ever happened - they didn't even leave garbage behind to be picked up. Yet she went to jail for a long time, then when she got out she was warned that she wasn't allowed to go receive the Freedom Award or she'd go back to jail. Then they said that "if she's around this guy without a lawyer present she'll go back to jail", so she met all those conditions yet they still want to send her to jail. Tamara Lich received punishment for doing the right thing in a country with a fascist leader. She's a political prisoner. End of story. Wake the fuck up. Every single thing that I said there was true, it's all extremely important for you to understand, it's all germane to the discussion, and there's was no excuse for you to not know it and understand it all before I brought it to your attention. Don't just fire back with a stupid comment like "But, but, but you like Twump!" Man up, suck it down, and either acknowledge it or shut the fuck up. Your idiocy isn't amusing and you're not fooling anyone.1 point

OK, go the semantics route. Associating with other "Freedom Convoyers" directly relates to the crime she's charged for. It's like telling a person charged with pedophilia not to be close to any place children congregate or use the internet.1 point
-
The Courts have to implement an undertaking that's actually going to reduce the risk for whatever she's charged with. Saying she supports the convoy or posts on Facebook would not do that... can't just pepper blanket restrictions because of your feelings. Banning her from an entire land mass is totally dumb and we all know it. Artur Pawlowski's compelled speech clauses were over the top.. shows the charges are ideological1 point
-
Your rights to all of these things can be limited by the courts if you are under process for a crime. There's a point about going to Ontario - which the courts agreed with - which is valid but you can't accurately say rights are violated based on these statements. It's too broad.1 point

Correction: Ms. Lich stands accused of committing mischief and other Criminal Code offences. She is presumed to be innocent unless proven guilty in Court. The nature of her breach of bail conditions has not been made public, but that will come out in the process. My gut feeling is that she is not very bright and ignored the advice of her lawyer.1 point

Yes with a few notable exceptions the poorest states are almost all red states and the most prosperous states are almost all blue states. Not a complete coincidence. But even in the wealthy places like Texas poverty rates and health outcomes are abysmal. The point on the infant mortality rate is the hypocrisy of supposed pro-life states that provide such abysmal care to parents who are actually trying to have a baby. If they were really pro-life they wouldn’t have these horrible birth outcomes where they sneer at mother and child as freeloading moochers looking for a handout just because they want to have a healthy childbirth.1 point

What a crock of shit. And hypocritical. 1) If what you say is true them why do you want “rule from afar” when it comes to guns then and are completely against local/state gun laws? 2) Constitutional Rights aren’t “rule from afar” they’re the opposite of being ruled1 point

WTF are you talking about? The topic was about Trudeau, and this thread is about an entirely Canadian topic, you deflected to talk about Trump because you couldn't address the banana republic justice system here. Clinesmith pleaded guilty. McCabe just sued for his pension, not to say that he didn't deserve to be fired, because it's known that he lied. Strzok was fired because he was conducting his investigation in a biased manner. Clapper and Brennan were on TV saying things under oath which are now known to have been lies at the time they said them. Hillary was the ringleader of the group that lied to the FISA court. The judge there said that their behaviour was so egregious that it cast a shroud of doubt over every investigation ever conducted by the FBI. Van Jones said that the collusion investigation was a big nothingburer after the FBI had already reached the conclusion, but long before the MSM and the FBI admitted that it was a farce. Yes, it was a witch hunt. How nice of you to finally notice. Geez, I wonder what changed? If you want to put a stop to YOUR deflection, you can talk about why Tamara Lich needed to go back to jail just for receiving the Freedom Award (aka embarrassing the Supreme Leader), or for doing something that wasn't actually a violation of her bail?1 point
-
Geez, your comments get stupider and more idiotic every time you post. The Dems never actually got a single conviction on a single person that was related to Russian collusion. The only actual crimes that are known to have been committed were by Hillary, Clapper, Brennan, Strzok, McCabe, Steele, Sussman and Clinesmith - all FBI or CIA agents that worked for the Dems, plus a couple of Hillary's associates. You followed a 4-yr witch hunt, and then decided that Trump can't call known cheaters & criminals "cheaters". The 2000 mules movie contains a lot of proof that the 2020 election was stolen. As does common sense. You know the Dems are cheaters as well as I do.1 point
