For anyone and everyone that is upset about Roe v Wade being overturned, what were you content with? Even in California there were some limitations for abortions. Were any limits reasonable to you? First trimester? Second? Did you want the limit right up to the moment of birth? Or perhaps even beyond that? I ask this question because many opponents of this recent decision are making very strong claims like the US is going back to the dark ages and so on. It seems there are more restrictions on abortion in Europe as compared to the US yet it doesn't seem to be as contentious an issue over there.

As an JW, when my daughter in school, I chose to have her sit out in the hallway during morning prayers, because everyone else was "false", whether aetheist, Christian, Muslim or Jews and were praying to a false God. I had mixed feelings about the convoy. They have every right to protest and I am somewhat sympathetic to what they were protesting about. I did not like them blockading roads or honking horns all through the night. The MSM went out of their way to demonize them in every way and most of them were indeed peaceful. Peaceful protest? Yes absolutely. Don't blockade or use violence. And violence and disruptive blockades are used way more often by those on the left. Below is an example of a peaceful protest that sends a really mixed message.

Yes, I understand that. I understand that you support this legislation because it will restrict women who you don't agree with their views. That's fine. The problem is - by banning and restricting certain things, you take the decision away from ALL women and in ALL circumstances. For instance - if you support a ban on all abortion, that means A BAN ON ALL ABORTION. That means that women who experience ectopic pregnancies - which are not viable and right now are routinely removed to save the life of a woman, will be banned. Your legislation will kill women needlessly. Do you understand that? Biology is messy. Every situation needs to assessed on its own merits, according to the make-up of the woman involved. This is why it's best left to a woman and her doctor. Not old white men who do not know what an ectopic pregnancy or a fallopian tube is.

I can't really argue that, Americans do spend an awful lot of time in courts with lawsuits but it's better that things get settled in court vs violent protests and death threats against those we may disagree with. The protests in front of some of the SCJ's are clearly a form of intimidation.

Personally, I am against late-term abortions just to not have the child, so I wouldn't get one. What other people do is up to them - if there is a God, I don't think he's going to ask me about other people's sins. But stats show that is extremely rare. Back in the early '70's my mother was forced to give birth to a full-term stillborn baby. To this day, she says she would have rather had it delivered by abortion. The experience was obviously traumatic to begin with and being forced to go through L&D made it much worse. I would prefer that women like her have the choice.

I’ve noticed elsewhere that it was beyond strange that Scotus held on to the decision for about 6 months. It would have been even longer but for the leak. That suggests a possible struggle within the court, and it’s certainly a bad sign. But there are plenty of bad signs lately, if you are not hoodwinked by the MSM. What really happened at the Vegas shooting? Why did the Uvalde police not stop the killer? How did unarmed citizens get into the capital building? Who is the Scotus leaker?
