CdnFox
Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump pumped hot air into an old and baseless conspiracy theory about Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, telling a controversial internet personality that the Canadian leader “could be” the son of former Cuban president Fidel Castro. Shown a photograph of Trudeau, Trump said, “He’s turned very liberal actually. They say he’s the son of Fidel Castro and, uh, could be. I mean anything’s possible in this world, you know.” BWAAAAAAAHAHAHAAHAHAAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Holy snit! Honestly, this kind of crap isn't great for his campaign but it's exactly the reason i'd love to see him in office for 4 more years LOLOL
August1991
Donald Trump is a NYC showman: a blowhard, a buffoon. He's no Hitler. Many, many people just don't get the guy. ===== I'm abroad at present, in a city prone to earthquakes, and I stood for awhile watching construction guys pour concrete into frames for a thirty-storey building. It ran through my mind that Trump negotiated all that kind of stuff. Imagine: No revenue for several years but you have to pay for all these people and the material. What risk! Nancy Pelosi or Biden or the Bushes - they just learned how to spend other people's money.
ironstone
It's not the kind of thing he should be saying no matter what we may think of Justin Trudeau. However, it can't be disputed that all of the Trudeau's were huge admirers of Fidel Castro and what he did while he was alive. 1 Quote "Socialism in general has a record of failure so blatant that only an intellectual could ignore or evade it." I personally do believe that Justy boy is Castro's kid. But i guess that only Justy boy knows, and i do not think that he will tell us that he is the son of Castro anytime soon. No doubt that Trump was asked the question and he answered the question honestly. Ask me the same question and i would also answer honestly. This is just more leftist liberal bull chit to stir up more controversy about Trump. The leftist liberal bias media buffoons never ask Trump about some of his accomplishments he did when Trump was President. They only want to find something bad about Trump which they can never find. Trudeau's old man was a communist. The old man admired and was friends with the communist dictator Castro. 😏
blackbird
Most mainstream news articles on the subject dismiss the claim, but there is a news website that has what I think is an interesting article on it that takes the view Castro is his father and explains why. It is on a small news site called medium dot com. If anyone wants to google it, they should be able to find it or just put the subject in a search window and search through the search results for the one on medium dot com. I doubt it will ever be resolved one way or the other. In the scheme of things, it doesn't really matter much. It is just an interesting story. Breaking your own rule, it seems. So now you will vote for him? Your brain is so malfunctioned, lol. a) - what, are you kidding? You needed THIS example to know that trump is frequently unprofessional? "I voted for trump because he's extremely professional" SAID NOBODY EVER. People don't vote for him because he's professional, people vote for him because he gets crap done and he shakes the 'established' system up. There were interviews galore before his first election with 'people on the street' who all said they knew he lied a lot, they didn't care because what they wanted out of him was his ability to rattle the system and deliver on a good economy, which he did. What a dumb question, b) I"m Canadian you twit. I won't be voting for him regardless. To be honest my primary reason for hoping he wins is that he's frikkin' hilarious and this thread is a perfect example of why, and also i think the dems have become something a little bit evil and perhaps if they get smaked around a bit there'll be a restructuring. It's not like here where if a party gets corrupt you can just dump them and start a new party from scratch.
CdnFox
2 hours ago, BeaverFever said: Trump’s incessant lying and baseless smears is why you want to see him in office? Both sides lie about the same, so that's a null issue for me, and both sides make baseless smears - to be honest trump less than the dems recently- so that's really not an issue. But trump is frequently hilarious. The dems lie and say things like 'there won't be another election if he wins' which is the very definition of a baseless lie, but it's not really funny. Trump says trudeau could possibly be castro's son LOL! THat's funny (technically not a lie but it's not true so close enough) And it amuses me to see the left lose it's mind. The left really does play dirty politics wise and it does the heart good to see them learn that there can be a backlash to that and it's not a good idea. There's no doubt in my mind that financially the US will be considerably better off under trump than Biden or harris, and of course that does impact Canada. Both Biden and Trump were not very good trade partners for Canada so there's no real difference there. But if the US goes into recession that will impact us. But really at the end of the day it's about the comedy. Trump is always truly hilarious

LOL Conservatism at it's finest LOL Were you born stupid or are you practicing on trying to become stupid? Which is it, stupid? Trump said "could be", bone head, not is Castro's son, stupid. I believe that the Marxist globalist dictator in Ottawa does look like his old man communist Castro. For you to be attacking Trump over this stupid CBC story tells me that you do lean and have sympathy towards the communist side. Oh great? The CBC is your source of Marxist news stories bull chit. Only fools like you will believe or listen to anything the government owned Marxist controlled CBC tells you. The CBC is so anti-conservative, anti-Trump and now even anti-Poilievre. The CBC is trying to make Poilievre look bad but they cannot. Poilievre knows how to handle the Marxist CBC and their lying bull chit. You are the real clown here in believing that Trump is a clown. Sure Trump is debunked and ridiculed by the demonrats like Harris and commie loving Walz because they have nothing else to go on. Just mock and attack and hope that buffoons like you will believe their lies and bull chit about Trump. I watched FOX NEWS the other night, and Watters exposed that commie Walz has a dep love for communist China. I heard Jessie Watters say on FOX NEWS that the commie loving Walz has visited communist China about 30 times and even had his honeymoon there. Yup, sure looks to me like your commie Walz is a commie alright. But i would never have known that if it were not for FOX NEWS. Your CBC or CNN would never expose that little tid bit, dummy. It is more like leftist liberalism showing it's constant stupidity, stupid 🤡.
WestCanMan
Full disclosure, I like Trump the resemblance between Justin/Castro is plain to see, while there's little resemblance between Justin and Pierre. That being said, Liam Neeson could also be Fidel's son if appearance is all we're going by Justin's mom is famous for her promiscuity Margaret's affection for Fidel was also plain to see Still, that wasn't the kind of thing for Trump to comment on, he the POTUS should be above that (Trump never will be), and it's no fault of Justin's who his actual father is. If Pierre loved him and raised him as a son then he's Pierre's son, although in my opinion that's no better than being Fidel's son. That wasn't lying (FYI could be isn't the same is "definitely is"), it wasn't baseless, and it would only be a smear against Margaret Trudeau, not Justin, and that's only if she was a far more decent person than she is. Would it be a smear against Trump if someone said "He probably has at least 1 child out of wedlock"? I don't think so. Maybe inappropriate, from some, but not a 'smear'. The US doesn't need Trump's crass mouth, but they do need leadership, and that has been severely lacking from 2011-2017 and 2021-2024. There's no perfect leader, but Kamala is as useless as tits on a boar.
