I don't really give a shit about what the US and UK want to call 'legal', and the UN is garbage. They just realized that Iran didn't deserve a seat in the Women's Rights Commission on Dec 14th 2022. As in 8 days ago. They've spent the last few years having women whipped and then jailed for decades just for removing their hijabs, now all of a sudden the UN noticed something's up????? 

The fact is that Ukraine provoked this war, and the war would end if Zelenskyy didn't want it to keep going. I don't know what he's personally getting from it, but it must be a lot if he's willing to see so many of his citizens die.

If Canada threatened to join an alliance with NoKo, Russia, China and Iran, with an article 5 in its constitution, and which would allow for all manner of military weapons and vehicles to park along the US border, our gov't wouldn't last an hour. 

Unfortunately for Ukraine, Kyiv isn't as close to the Russian border as Ottawa is to the states, or this would be over by now.

NATO never said it would accept Ukraine as a member. There is no buildup of weapons in NATO countries bordering Russia and Putin's invasion has made it clear that countries bordering Russia need to be members of NATO. Sweden Finland.

Article 5 is a defence agreement, Russia has no reason to fear Article 5 unless it attacks a NATO country. That is why Sweden and Finland are joining NATO.

Honestly, if Canada was in a war right now against a much bigger country and we had a Nazi battalion suddenly start to fight for us (and why wouldn't they fight for Trudeau?), I'm not so sure that I'd kick their asses to the curb. It'd be a win-win to have them fight for us, because it would mean that Nazis were dying at the same time as our enemies were dying. 

If you pulled the Nazis out of the fight, they'd get to live while better people were dying fighting for us. 

The view from 50,000 feet looks like this: the Ukrainian gov't loved Nazis when they didn't need to tolerate them. They didn't attempt to clean the Nazi stench off of their army at all when no one was looking, they just did it for the cameras.

There's a famous quote from a Ukrainian president: "It's hard to get American money to fund our Nazi army."

Doesn't matter what Biden says, admission into NATO has to be a unanimous decision by its members. This war has proved that Ukraine does need to be a member of NATO. Any European country bordering Russia does. People join NATO because they see Russia as a threat to their independence. Ukraine has proved them right.

In what terms is it legal? what threat is Ukraine to Russia. 

I'm sure the US at the time did give 2 sweet F***s if it was legal or not Having a Nuke missile battery off the coast with less than a 5 min strike time was a huge threat, to millions of Americans. But i don't think the US is setting up nuke missile systems in Ukraine, so what threat does Ukraine pose?
