Tons of slugs attached themselves to the trucker movement. A legion of scummy YouTubers rebroadcast other people's streams for Superchats. Not much one can do from a content creator's position.

During a traffic stop they have no authority to check inside your vehicle unless they have a warrant or you have committed some kind of crime that would warrant a car search.  A cop may ask "is it ok if I look in your trunk?" etc.  Do not consent, they want you to waive your rights.  They need your consent to search without a warrant and without cause.

Know your rights.

For the record, I was very much against the police abuse at the G20 protests in Toronto.  This post seems to be about Occupy?  Also, I DID NOT condone violence, what I said is that sometimes violence (and unlawful protest activity in general) gets results.

You can look at the 2020 BC gaslink pipeline protests by indigenous people.  They blockaded railway lines and got Trudeau to sit down with leaders and sign an agreement promising proper consultation.  It worked for them but I don't condone those illegal blockades.

That doesn't mean I agree with/condone illegal tactics, it means sometimes they work.

That is why I am against passing EMA.  EMA should only be the gov't doomsday kit. It can only be gov't last resort, not use it for convenience. It is because EMA has many many many uncontrollable elements (trust me on this, after watching 8964 and the Anti-Extradition Law Amendment Bill Movement ). In fact, they have other options.
