  1. So, did Reagan show us that "there was a time for everything; a time for free trade and a time to raise tariffs"?
  2. I don't know Reagan very well; perhaps he's your BFF. The truth is that Reagan had just placed new duties on some Japanese products the week before and used that speech to explain why. Don't you find it's not the right address to quote?
  3. Did anyone who posted a reply here actually watch Ronald Reagan's address completely? Ronald Reagan, a deceased U.S. President, was quoted without the surrounding context of a speech about tariffs, allowing Ford to misrepresent the statement for his own agenda. Ford opened a Pandora's box. The "orange man" did not know what was happening, or perhaps he was waiting for a third-party response first. He only went "ballistic" after this was posted.
  4. Because no Canada weapons can do that Maybe I am wrong, I know only the us and the british weapons can, so he just open his mouth and breathe out hot air
  5. Maybe it has something to do with the by-election in MB;🤔 Btw, is it just me or it seems JT starts taking credits from all the NDP's ideas?
  6. I consider myself liberal, but I believe we need to revisit abortion once in a while. Anyway, I never understand the "victim of rape" angle. We are in 2024, what happens to the morning-after pill?
  7. There is no hate speech from the libs or SJWs, only conservatives with wicked tongue. It seems who controls the media controls the narrative,
  8. You are right. Having said that, there are at least over 70% (I remember it is over 80%) on one side believing it but only a few wingnuts on the other side. It is not fair to say that they are the same. Let us get real here, if Yahweh and Allah come down and give you total authority to implement a two-state solution, can you do it? do you roll back to the 1947 stage or make the current stage boundary line? I believe the two-state solution was done after the beginning of the Arab-Israeli war in 1948.
  9. How can you implement the 2-state solution when one of the parties keeps yelling from the river to the sea🤔
  10. What a shallow opinion🙄. C'mon, it is the loss of adaptability and the sense of prioritization
  11. my friend, you are the mayor of the wrongville. I know the housing market is almost flat-line when there is little or no immigrant. The whole situation is because JT's liberal is a one-trick pony. They only know fueling the economy with immigrants (I am not anti-immigrant, I was one). The immigrants coming in are not war zone refugees, at least most of them are not. They are at least the middle class. They come in and buy the house with their saving. The houses in Toronto and Vancouver are like the girls living along the Alaska-Canada Highway inner city in WWII, which local younger Canadian boys hard to date. In addition, just look at the new houses which even in a small lot have a very middle-class feel, with no borderline cases like in the 70s or 80s. Now, with the addition of carbon taxes, all Canadians are paying head taxes without knowing it. What can go wrong?
  12. C'mon, we don't have to care, it is personal feeling , not our duties, in the end, this should not be our cross, of course, we need to LEARN from it
  13. C'mon, that is crazy talk. Now, the Khalistan movement leans forward to the Khalistan referendum which I believe China, Russia, the USA and other South Asian countries like, a move that put India in a very uncomfortable position, who knows, maybe Khalistan will turn into another Bangladesh. So, maybe Sikhs who are supporting the referendum and condemn the actions of KTF behind it.
  14. The US ambassador has only confirmed 'shared intelligence,' NOT evidence. In fact, your link says this So, it is all on us, Canada.
  15. You missed my pt. intelligence, stuff or not. We have no idea what makes JT or his minions came up with the conclusion I trust Canada, but not JT. C'mon, did he blow his own "trumpet" after he said he confronted Xi Jinping at the Gxx summit when Global Mail reported the news of the election's influence but later said there was no China influence in elections? By the way, assassins is one thing, saying another country behind it is another thing.
