Justin Trudeau the Worst PM Since Pierre Trudeau?

Doesn't matter..it would have been a token effort because of limited resources.   Chretien still contributed to the invasion of Iraq with overflight rights for U.S. transports, embedded exchange officers,  and relief of U.S. assets in Afghanistan that were moved to Iraq.   Chretien was very supportive of the bombing of Iraq in 1998, but faced severe political risk back home for an outright invasion, especially in Quebec.

http://natoassociation.ca/why-canada-really-didnt-go-to-iraq-in-2003/

Post invasion, Chretien asked the Bush administration for leniency when it came to bidding on lucrative rebuilding and oil services contracts in Iraq.

Why do you think Canada bought 4 wreck submarines from UK for a ridiculous elevated cost? It was a work around way to help the war in Iraq by supporting their allies.

The new documentary A Stroy Of Us is amjor load of bullshit, lies and false historal facts. Severe critics of historians from both english and french sides. Trudeau introduces that self called documentary (the most approprate designation should be mockumentary) and hereby endorses those lies.

If he is not yet the worst PM ever, he is really working hard to become the one.

I think the worst about him is yet to come.

There were a lot of politicians, newspapers etc, calling for him to join Bush in Iraq.

Instead he went to Afghanistan. The Australians, who went to Iraq, suffered fewer casualties than we did in Afghanistan.

America bombs syria and the PMO send out a statement, if this was a pop culture event ,trudeau would have made sure he was in front a camera.

Trudeau and the PMO look weak and impotent in the wake of Trump's action.

Trudeau spends more time in the U.S. to channel his "feminism".

Trudeau and Parliament's dysfunction exposed while tripping over each other on what to make out of U.S. attack in Syria.

Canadian "flip-flopping" really doesn't matter because Canada is in no position to lead or act on the matter of chemical weapons in Syria besides the usual deferment to the even more dysfunctional United Nations.

Out of curiosity, why do you who don't like him, dislike him? And why do those of you who like him, like him?

Because he's shallow and callow, knows very little about government or the world, and is only in his job because of his name and looks. His life experiences, such as they are, are that of a trust fund baby, never having to overcome anything, never having worries or obligations, born with silver spoon in mouth, with no leadership abilities. And he combines this with an almost petulant arrogance one often sees in progressives, who govern not out of knowledge but emotion. He trots around the world taking selfies and posing for smiley pictures at things like that silly womans conference in New York last week and seems to have only a peripheral interest in doing his actual job (which is probably good for us since he hasn't a clue how).

Chretien didn't have any choice...Canada was stretched to the limit with Chretien just keeping Canadian Forces in Afghanistan.

We went to afghanistan after he said no to Iraq.

The subs would have been a great deal if Chretien did not let them rot for over 2 yrs before bringing them home.

He deserves a full term before an assessment can be rendered.

Really, why is that, does he plan to keep any promises in the final year.....so far he has kept very few....and even some of them that he has kept they have reversed, but good for you on holding onto hope.....

To be honest , i thought he was on the right track for the first 6 months.....until reality started to set in, and promise after promise just faded away....to the point he is just like all the rest, all promises no action.....

I hope for his sake he can keep that promise....i know a lot of pot smokers that voted for this single issue.....if he screws this up...it might mean a closer race come election time....and judging by his success on his other promises.....won't be no legal pot either....

Be careful of what you wish for. I worked for twenty plus years to become Prime Minister of Canada and if it were not for a small obstacle (not enough votes or support) I would be Prime Minister now. We would have the fourth largest military in the world, and a defined benefit pension for everyone administered by CPP (and the highest taxes in the world). Thank your lucky stars the good people of the Kootenay-East- Revelstoke Progressive Conservative riding association lacked the vision to nominate me. You have no idea of what a bad PM can be.

To do it right ,it will take a few yrs. What I did not like at the vimy ridge was when some people clapped when the leaders were walking up to it, trudeau acts like there are there to see him. His head is so swollen.

Junior, well for those who can not see through his fake persona and terrible acting(public speaking)there is no hope for you and you are doomed to be star struck the rest of your life. If you have to mention Harper to defend him then you are doomed to be blind the rest of your life. If you think he makes a difference in the world then you are doomed to see rainbows and unicorns the rest of your life.

Fact is that junior is just another liar politician but with good looks and pretty words who has no idea about how much harm he is doing to Canada and if you have to ask what harm there is no pointing out the obvious to you.

This is not a game or about a model with uh terrible public speaking posture , but about what his reckless policies will do to Canada 20 years from now and what he is setting in motion will have very dire effects for us and in those 20 years we will become divided to the point of civil war or a major breakup of Canada but then the sunny ways crowd will never see that until it is to late.

Well, there were some good reasons to go to Afghanistan, initially at least.

Yes.  Our closest ally was attacked by a force that seemed to be located there (and elsewhere).

The Cretin was wise to bow out on Iraq but I think showed a measured response in doing Afganistan.

Yes, we went to war with horrible equipment, and that can be traced right back to Paul Hellyer and PET when they decided to destroy our military as a military force and use it as one of their social engineering projects.  Plays right back into the party card PET carried while studying at the Sorbonne and make "frequent walking trips in Eastern Europe".

Fortunately, the next version of government did a fair job of listening to returned vets and amending equipment aquisitions to give more support to the troops and less to Bombardier and Quebec,

So our evidence based decision making PM is a cupper. It is a old egyptian procedure that is the same as giving yourself a hickey. And also he spoke about his corrupt father using his power to make a drug charge disappear for his brother. Thanks to all that voted for this fool.

By the time pot is finally legalized 10's of thousands more Canadians will have their records compromised by the failure of this stupid hypocrite to decriminalize pot the day he was sworn into office.

In the meantime JT has managed to make quite a spectacle out of the privilege afforded the powerful and connected so I suppose that tarnishing of Canada's betters is worth something in the scheme of things.
