Islam is in action again killing kafirs. What does it take for the gullible, tree hugging liberal lefties to realise that we are being slaughtered in the name of this religion...

Of course lefties realize people are being killed. Who, what and why is what's at issue between us and the bonehead stupid righties who insist on believing religion is all there is to it.

A government without public oversight is like a nuclear plant without lead shielding.

I thought you would celebrate that with more than a 'meh'.

I'm not stopping you from celebrating.

There's a video going around the interwebs at the moment* that shows a street scene in what I assume is Syria or Iraq (judging by the Russian military vehicles). Women and children mostly...some men....some soldiers.

Suddenly in the distance there's a thump...and the people start to move quickly towards the camera...there's another loud thump/bang...everybody winces and breaks into a run. Unfortunately, you as the observer realize that this is being filmed by Jihadis themselves...and as the fleeing people get closer...they run smack into either a suicide bomber or a planted explosive which goes off as the people get closest to the filming camera.

They disappear.

Screams and shouts of Allahu Akbar...

Chaos...difficult to see what's going on but people are obviously coming to help any wounded. Two more loud bangs...smoke...chaos...everybody is gone.

Just smoke...

Now that's some hating I can really get my teeth in to...

Today's Islamic atrocity is in Egypt: At least 26 Christians murdered on a bus by Islamic gunmen on the way to church. Many wounded. The attackers call it the first day of the month of terror...how sweet.

These gunmen were apparently made extreme by reading my posts at MLW.

It's not the nature of the victims that count, so much as the goals of the perpetrators. There is something particularly nasty about making the children the primary target.

Why do you people keep bringing up Israel into this? The savagery of islam needs to be looked at in isolation. This is why we have this thread. Care to explain the death of 35 egyptians?? Hmmmm!

It seems that unless the child victims are Western/Christian and killed by Islamic terrorists, they don't count - they aren't featured in the media for days on end and they aren't raised on this board to beat up Muslims and 'the left'.

We care more about what Muslims do to our children then what they do to themselves out in the desert. Nothing strange about that.

That's the wrong approach to have and will be/is the main reason the war on terror failed.

It is human nature to care more about your own than others far away. It just makes sense, too.

You know that Muslims have been killing and fighting each other for centuries, right?

Yes because that way we can lose all perspective and descend into hysteria.

Egypt strikes back.

Bombs Terrorists in Libya.

Quote

The airstrikes, which reportedly struck positions in the Libyan city of Derna appeared to be confirmed by Egyptian President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi in a speech addressing the nation following the killing of 28 Coptic Christians in the Egyptian city of Minya.

Bans 21 news sites, including Huff Post Arabic and al Jazeera, on grounds of supporting terrorism.   They claim these sites are either affiliated with the Muslim Brotherhood or funded by Qatar.

Egypt strikes back.

CAIRO — The Dec. 11 bombing of a church in the Cairo cathedral complex — the seat of the Coptic pope — has been claimed by the Islamic State, although the Egyptian government has blamed the Muslim Brotherhood. Whoever planted the bomb that killed 27 people, including a 10-year-old girl, when it ripped through a church full of Sunday worshipers understood well how endemic bigotry in Egypt has left Christian lives at the whim of a regime that pays lip service to protecting them, armed Islamists who actively seek them harm, and a public that largely does not care.

The Egyptian Parliament recently ratified such bigotry when it passed a long-awaited law imposing restrictions on the construction and renovation of churches. No such restrictions apply to Muslims and mosques. There are 2,869 churches in Egypt, compared with 108,395 mosques.

Nothing strange if your sole purpose is to disparage one particular community.

Nothing strange if it isn't. It's absolutely natural and normal to put one's own children first.

Human nature has nothing to do with this at all. It's called selective optics. Those who support this failed war on terror creating more terror via foreign policy is only making us more susceptible to attacks. Once you care about over there, then we can solve the problem here MUCH MUCH easier.
