  2. To quote a monkey: "Your ^FANTASIES are IRRELEVANT. LMAO" You seem to have told a few lies and overlooked a few facts here yourself.... there was no loss of credibility though since you had none to begin with. I was prepared to spend some time looking into your claim as it didn't ring true (in the slightest) and I was interested in it since it involved The Pentagon. Turns out I needn't have bothered and I literally stopped looking after 10 seconds. Ya... guess I could have continued looking for stuff to prove you right but that happens so seldom I didn't think it was worth the time and effort. Get your porn star on the case and I might watch her rebuttal... ya never know, maybe the Vatican is lying too. This quote came up immediately: U.S. Embassy to the Holy See quoted Cardinal Pierre calling the report a “fabrication.” An additional 5 seconds in another window got me this headline: Pentagon and Cardinal Pierre deny reports of U.S. threat to the Vatican From this link: https://voz.us/en/world/260410/34797/pentagon-and-cardinal-pierre-deny-reports-of-u-s-threat-to-the-vatican.html#google_vignette Which contained this quote: According to a statement from the U.S. Embassy to the Holy See, "The Cardinal emphatically denied the media's portrayal of his meeting with Colby." He described the meeting as 'frank, but very cordial' and a 'normal encounter.' He confirmed that the reporting 'does not reflect what happened' and was 'just invented to make a story.'"

  5. Oh man, I thought it was Trump who they had by the short hairs. Now you are complaining about the world having issues? Maybe they should do something. Is it class and morals to stay in office when you are not mentally fit?

  7. Sure. Propaganda is an insanely powerful tool. Voter fraud IS real they find it in every election in the us and most in canada. The perception in the US which is what i'm assuming you're talking about is that it's of sufficient volume to influence the outcome of the election. And for many that's real, for others it's not. But as you're probably alluding to, for those who feel it's substantial, it can lead to very real world consequences, whether it is or it isn't. actually polling indicates that the losing side mostly feels the election is "rigged" going back to 2000, possibly earlier but we don't have the data. And both sides are about the same in that regard. I think that's more 'sour grapes' than anything. But also people don't have faith in their system. One of the problems though with the american system is there's so many 'holes' in the system that would allow for undetected cheating that even when there's no direct evidence of it, it may well still have happened theoretically. I think they need to lock that crap down if they're ever going to restore faith. Canada has had similarly close elections, hell in the last 2 trudeau elections the CPC won the popular vote over the libs and still lost the election, and you don't hear much of the 'election was stolen' nonsense up here. Elections have to be locked tight against fraud for people to have faith in them and the US has a problem in that regard.

  9. To China. Much as we did. Much as Europe did. Dumb move. And then we doubled down on it with this net zero bullshit that is making energy so expensive in the West and driving yet more industry to China (and India and other 3rd world countries). Him wanting to bring industry back is one of the areas I agree with Trump on, that and immigration and fighting the 'woke'.

  10. This is why Air Canada is one of the investment partners in this. They don’t want to do short domestic flights as it doesn’t make as much business sense. They don’t want airports operating at full capacity for less profitable short runs.

  11. On the contrary ........... any comment re: racism, discrimination could be considered a segue to a broader discussion. Some might accuse South Carolina Sen. Tim Scott of being an Uncle Tom, disregarding what the majority of blacks perceive as true to further his political career. WASHINGTON, D.C. — Sixty-four percent of Americans believe racism against Black people is widespread in the U.S. This figure ties with the previous reading, in 2021, as the highest recorded in Gallup’s periodic measurements since 2008. Non-Hispanic Black adults continue to be the most likely to say such racism is prevalent in the country, with 83% expressing this view. / Aug 2025 True or not, perception is reality. It's pretty glaring when the actions of the C-in-C are so obviously, racist?

  14. Except that the courts are full of government appointees and the laws/policies that they claim to uphold are hugely problematic, especially in BC
    1 point
  15. This is entirely the result of two NDP moves: 1. The federal NDP didn’t support having the protection of property be in our Constitution (unlike in the US). 2. The BC NDP government signed on to UNDRIP (UN Declaration on Rights of Indigenous People), which the BC top court now references as an excuse to hand over land to natives, stripping title from property owners. These moves may end up being the undoing of Canada, because working people who buy a home and struggle to pay the bills may not like having their property taken away. Go figure.
    1 point
  16. Yup, and only now that it’s impacting left-wing politicians who own property in areas of BC that have been handed over to natives by the ideologically-captured courts is the BC government starting to freak out and backpedal on its misguided UNDRIP support. Non-natives in BC are losing title to their property and it’s their own government that caused this.

  17. This is the heart of the problem with Canada today. How can a country be a force for good when it uses its healthcare system to kill people? This simply cannot square with honest medical ethicists. Extending this to people who are not of sound mind is so grossly irresponsible and wrong that it strips our country of moral authority, making it even harder to have credibility internationally. The Americans see this aspect of Canada and rightly judge us for it. I have 4 kids. You seem pretty loose on all thinks killing: abortion, MAID, hard drugs use. Congratulations.

  20. "America is not a racist country," / South Carolina Sen. Tim Scott The United States National Park Service had begun scrubbing information from its exhibits about Harriet Tubman and the Underground Railroad; one of the most significant stories of resistance against chattel slavery in the United States. The move would have destroyed knowledge about how oppressed people in the United States have successfully fought for freedom. The erasure at the Park Service follows President Donald J. Trump’s recent executive order targeting the National Museum of African American History and Culture for being “divisive.” ............ a recent pic of South Carolina Sen. Tim Scott

  24. I think the notion that everyone who wants to leave Canada has to pay a half a million dollars is utter nonsense but typical of the very peculiar way your mind processes information. Good, that means more for the rest of us. It has dick to do with Liberals, I was advocating shrinking our population and economy and applying exit taxes years and years ago. Leave half a million you said, ridiculously. I'm sure some are leaving with a lot more and a lot less.

  25. His FB porn star is entertaining though, but only if you mute her. This story actually caught my eye though and I was going to look into it at some length simply because I had a bit of time.... I do that occasionally when the name Robo pops up and the computer screen emits a foul odour. After 10 seconds I found this and decided not to pursue it. Mainstream outlets (AOL/The Hill, Forbes, Military.com, Salon, etc.): Reposted The FreePress claims and the Pentagon’s denial; some outlets reported the Vatican later pushedback against the more inflammatory characterization, calling the meeting standard andcordial. Official statements: Department of Defense — meeting was "substantive, respectful, and professional”. Vatican (Holy See Press Office via Matteo Bruni) — the media account “does not correspond to the truth”; U.S. Embassy to the Holy See quoted Cardinal Pierre calling the report a “fabrication.”

  26. Leaving this right here: The three women that are not named sat down with CNN and so did their families. The one woman that is named also allowed family and friends to be interviewed. They ALL have evidence. Two of them have very similar rape stories. It really appears that it might be ruffies or something similar. This might get very ugly for him.

  33. No, I'm just curious why Conservatives aren't busy faulting Trudeau here. Not to mention the RCMP saying its running into "interactive restrictions" similar to those experienced during the SNC-Lavalin affair. The Conservatives should be all over this like flies on shit but instead its crickets.

I agree, the damage did take 10 plus years to make...But here is the rub, at this rate it will take 50 years just to come complete circle...And you'll have to excuse my skepticism as you guys voted for the country wrecker 3 times in a row, your not exactly good at picking the right guy...seems to be a problem here in Canada with the other parties as well...

  37. LMAO in your dreams! Like when you claimed power plants ran on “cans of gasoline” Your ignorance is not knowing that whether it is military or civilian it’s still part of defence as per NATO. This isn’t a loophole this is explicitly stated. Fire and police aren’t federal responsibilities, even the RCMP isn’t under DND tell me you at least understand that much. But you’re playing games now saying it doesn’t matter when the money was actually spent or budgeted only when it was announced. And yet when carney announces new spending you said it doesn’t count because it’s just empty promises for future spending that he won’t keep Let me educate you:. If Trudeau had announced a contract that cost a billion a year for the next 30 years it doesn’t get budgeted as a one-time 30 billion expense the year it was announced. Only the amount that is spent each year is counted for that particular year. The annual maintenance of our fighter planes goes on Carney’s budget not Pierre Trudeau’s budget because he was PM when the planes were bought. Get it? No you’re still the clueless twat unaware that civilian defence expenditures count and making up claims about spending “announced” in previous years. And NATO doesn’t care if it’s “new” spending or not (even though there has been a ton of new spending on everything from military housing to base infrastructure that you continue to deny)
    1 point
  38. That’s 2 way you once again show your ignorance 1) It is defence, not military. Defence has civilian ie non-military components. The NATO 2% is for DEFENCE spending including civilian elements. Coast Guard, cybersecurity, intelligence all are civilian examples of legitimate defence expenditures. Nobody except your clueless deranged brain has attempted to claim that money spent in past years is included in current fiscal year figures, period. Money spent in the current fiscal year and going forward like operations and maintenance is legitimate defence expenditure in full compliance with the letter and spirit of NATO’s guidelines.

  39. It's the other way around... we were the ones who were provoked which is why we looked to China and that opportunity. Mexico sells over 300K Chinese vehicles. Obviously Trump doesn't want us building cars...we need to look at other options, not roll over. The unions will want to build cars from any country if they're not building them for US companies. I'm sure that if a vehicle can be built to Chinese manufacturer spec using Canadian made parts and labor nobody is going to have a problem with that. Not sure what the chances of that happening might be though... I'm glad you or anyone who thinks alike is negotiating this, or anything else for us. So what if it's uncomfortable...that's part of negotiating. The #1 rule though is to not bend over willingly as you suggest we do... Clearly we're not bowing to him, or a deal would be done right? Of course we don't hold all the cards, but we do have a pretty good hand that is playing well right now with the cost of living pressures Trump is facing from his constituents. Don't forget the fact the US relies on us as both a customer and supplier...

  42. The hatred against Israel didn’t begin in 1948 when the state was established. The hatred, persecution, discrimination, pogroms, etc, etc, against Jews go back in millennia. Much is heard about the plight of the Palestinian refugees from the aftermath of the 1948 Israeli War of Independence (Nakba). However, much less is heard about the plight of the hundreds of thousands of Jews who were forced to flee from surrounding Arab states before and after the creation of Israel. There was no restitution paid to them either. They fled to Israel and Israel welcomed them. More fool, Arabs. For radical Islamists, the existence of a Jewish state in the heart of the Middle East is an affront to their ideology. Groups like Hamas and Hezbollah don’t just want to fight Israel—they want to annihilate it. Surely you don’t believe that terrorist groups such as Hamas, Hezbollah, Houthi - ‘banked by Iran’ are fighting to restore a Palestinian homeland - now that would truly be naivety on steroids. The so-called Palestinian cause’ is the pretext for war – the annihilation of Israel I’m sure you’ve heard of the Abraham Accords – a hand not a fist by Israel? Many believe that the Accords were the pretext for the Oct 7th, terrorist attack. I tend to agree and in that, they were successful. Israel is a success story in a region that thrives on failure. While much of the Middle East is plagued by corruption, authoritarianism, and economic stagnation, Israel has transformed itself into a high-tech powerhouse. But let me answer your question, "Why must Israel live, surrounded by people who detest them?" Because they are forced to?
