I was watching a documentary this morning on the forestry industry in BC by Aaron Gunn. The entire industry has been decimated by over-regulation by the Liberal gov't. I don't know why all the Liberal supporters here think the Liberals are pro-industry. They are NOT. They want an end to all industry in Canada. They've nearly finished killing the oil & gas industry, the fishing industry, the forestry industry, the auto industry, they've stalled our critical minerals industry for over a decade now and I don't see any signs that they are going to change that. Zero projects have been fast-tracked or even approved, despite 2 new bureaucracies set up, purportedly to do just that. but hey, at least Carney's buddies got high-paying positions on the boards of those bureaucracies. (Did you know one of them is making over $1 million a year? The rest making just under $1 million a year.) So, with no industry in Canada, how do the liberal and NDP supporters think we are going to afford all the programs they are demanding - free housing, free food, unsustainable immigration of people who will never be self-sufficient.
