  1. After the last snow storm was an unmitigated disaster with snow not being removed, trash not being collected and homeless dying in droves, Mamdani has a new idea: pay people to dig themselves out. How hypocritical of him. Getting an ID is too hard for black and brown people but getting 2 IDs, a social security card and two printed passport photos is easy enough to make $19/hr. But no one applied. Not one. So they upped the pay: Never mind that 30 - 19 is not almost 10. That is of no co sequence. Lol

  5. He's a disaster--and a hypocrite--because he's following existing labor and employment laws? I provided a detailed reply in the other thread, but the net-net is that this is a completely imaginary hypocrisy. Dumb.

  6. Professional and amateur psychologists are anxiously awaiting Trump's speech tonight. No amount of practical experience or classroom knowledge has prepared them for what they're going to hear tonight from the cognitively declining narcissist. The money line has him talking about himself, Biden, himself, Obama, himself, Clinton, himself, himself, the economy, then closing with himself. O/U for time is 90 minutes of BS flying left right and center with 342 lies sprinkled in that 100% of Maga dipshits buy hook line and sinker. Personally, I'm looking forward to the crash and burn and having a good laugh tonight!

  9. They haven't done anything good. I don't trust them. At all. It's not that they made mistakes. It's that they refuse to admit it. And that means they have no intentions of fixing them. Take Bill C-75 for just one. It's been a disaster. Canadians have suffered. Canadians have DIED because of it. Our quality of life has diminished greatly because of it. And what did they prioritize when they got back into power? Fuquing censorship bills. The only reason they made an announcement the other day about bail reform is because the Conservative forced them to prioritize it. They have to be dragged kicking and screaming to do the right thing. And even then, they blame it on Trump, they blame it on the Conservatives, they blame it on Harper. And Carney doesn't seem to have the balls to stand up to these same people sitting beside him in Parliament. He's still continuing their agendas.

  10. The economy shrank last quarter, and the canola, sea food tariffs were a retaliation for Liberal imposed tariffs on China. As a result, Canada now was to accept Chinese EVs, when that wasn't the case before the Liberals decided to hit China with EV tariffs. We ended up worse off than before the Liberal tariffs were enacted. That's some of the genius Liberal economic policy that's put Canada on a steady path of decline.

  11. I just hope that people can resist these divisions they've created for us, where we argue against each other, instead of holding the elites accountable. At least we're seeing something happening across the pond: UK: Besides Andrew, they've arrested long time veteran Labour polician Peter Mandelson for passing information to Mossad through Epstein. Starmer may be pushed to resign because of this. Norway: Former PM has been charged for corruption. Mona Juul, a diplomat is under investigation for corruption. Again, for pushing government documents to Mossad through Epstein. Slovakia: National security adviser resigned due to his association with Epstein. France: Investigators have opened a wide range of investigations into human trafficking and financial fraud which are related to Epstein, again, a Mossad asset. Dubai: One of the wealthiest and powerful sultans, Ahmed bin Sulayem has resigned as the chairman of Dubai Port. But in the U.S.? Nothing much. A couple of resignations from university (Sommers) and CBS (Attia), but nothing else. Trump, even in the unlikely event that the allegations against him are untrue, has purposely blocked efforts to bring people to justice. I'm sick and tired of going into debt for these never-ending wars. Why do we need to subsidize multi million dollar companies? Socialism for corporations but it's communism to spend money on the people. How many billions do we need to give to Ukraine, Israel, Egypt, Jordan, etc. etc..? The spending takes away from spending at home and they increase our debt.

  12. 1. Yes, and fortunately for him people as numb as you voted him back into office so he can grift his way to another billion because of his position. Conflicts of interest....who cares we love Diaper Don! 2. The rest of the world is going down the road of clean energy and fools like you believe the dumbest SOB in history calls it fake news. Something tells me you won't be laughing much when China laps you in the world order soon enough. 3. Why do you always bring up Biden? He's been out of office for a year so just focus on the grifter you support. 4. No, his mandate was inflation and immigration and he's done little there has he.... 5. Your Trump Dick Sucker syndrome is embarrassing.... 6. The only pervert in this convo is your orange idol. Good thing he has teams kissing his fat *ss to cover up and redact files.

  16. It's fascinating how entirely devoted your brain is to delusional self-affirmation. I don't have to concoct anything. I've literally watched you explain how reasonable it was for David Emerson to cross the floor to Harper's team back in 2006...two weeks after he was elected as MP. 🤡

  18. It has nothing to do with credibility and even you whose knowledge of politics is extremely limited know damn well that has everything to do with the fact that Crossing the floor to the party in power means personal gain. If the roles were reversed you can bet there are liberals that will be crossing the floor to the CPC. I would certainly seen that kind of thing many times in history including with the actual CPC, not just other conservative parties This is nothing to do with credibility or leaders or anything. This has to do with the fact that if they cross the floor they get vastly more money, perks in positions and power that they wouldn't have had otherwise, and considering the deals that carney seems to be offering now that's even more true than normal If you want to be extremely charitable you could argue that being in power allows them to do more for the communities that they serve and that's their reason for doing it, but I think we both know that's probably not the driving force. But it's got crap all to do with the leaders

  23. Mamdani ran on a platform that telegraphed how he was going to govern ....... The strategy of deficit spending, combined with a crushing debt is arguably criminal. More the pity is that deficit spending saddles future generations with debt.......... higher taxation.......... Political hacks would rather sign the cheque, stay incumbent and punt. Becoming a far too typical approach ........... and increasingly less fiscal room when an $concern arises.

  25. Letter on Alberta website here: https://www.alberta.ca/system/files/Premier Smith Letter to Prime Minister Trudeau.pdf As this substack commenter put it: Danielle Smith's 2024 letter to Trudeau: Demanded Ottawa DOUBLE Alberta's immigration spots (20k+ annually) + 10k more for Ukrainians to fix 'critical labour shortages' and grow our economy. 2026 reality: Blames Trudeau's 'open-border disaster' for the exact influx straining services, announces Oct referendum to LIMIT immigration, restrict newcomer access to health/education/social supports. Set-up complete: Lobby for more when Big Oil and the Oligarchy needs workers, then scapegoat Ottawa and immigrants when the bill hits working families. UCP classic—top vs. bottom, not left vs. right. While we're divided, pockets get picked. Albertans: See the pattern? #AlbertaForward

  28. It doesn't sound like you trust them at all.... Fortunately we live in a democratic society and elect our leaders. We just had an election a little less than a year ago and by the chatter not surprising if we had anther one. If you believe the polls it's a liberal majority and the end of your boy with all the great slogans and no real plans. Ouch... But seriously.... do you blame all problems on liberal policies or do you think there may be a hint of truth in Trump trying to F us over?

  32. I don't need to, because you're only embarrassing yourself further with statements like this. GDP per capita is generally considered a poor measurement of productivity because it includes too many things that have absolutely nothing to do with efficiency (which is what productivity is all about). Alberta's GDP per capita is 10% lower now than it was in 2014. That's not because Alberta got lazier or less efficient. It's because oil prices crashed and still haven't really recovered. This fundamentally altered the landscape of their economy and despite their oil and gas industry being far more efficient (productive) than in 2014, they just don't earn as much per barrel as they used to. As usual, you're proving you know less than nothing about the topics on which you bullshit.

  34. It's already been postponed by the Chinese, so there is no ramping up of anything right now, if ever. You seem to be one of those who believe MOU's signed is the same as actual activity. So far, we have a lot of pieces of paper, but not much actually happening. Canola farmers in SK have said this is just half-measures anyways and unlikely to do much. I'm glad you're so happy that we are choosing communist China, who has f*&ked over everyone else who tried to do trade with them, as our closest ally instead of the US. I'm sure they won't do to us what they did to everyone else. We're special, right?

  38. Ok...level set. The Canadian hockey teams both played great. IMO...nobody should be too dejected. I thought the refereeing was a tad...lop-sided. But that mens' final was a fantastic hockey game. Hellabuck "stood on his head" as they say. He has a habit of coming up big...and he did in the gold meddle game. He's an awesome goalie...usually. So congratulations to the Yankees. Your team and goalkeeper fended off an onslaught and got the one goal that counted...the last one.

  42. Maybe he's from earth, where much of that is bullshit He stole PP's talking points and platform, but he didn't actually enact any of it He got rid of the consumer carbon tax, but then jacked up the hidden carbon tax. he is not attracting investment (it's actually leaving Canada as fast as ever) and he has passed MORE regulation and hasn't gotten rid of any of it. Industrial sources have said they won't come back to canada under the current regulatory environment. soooo. Yeah. Lies much does little
