He is an expert on it because he practices it so much. Let's talk reality here. This is a leftist. He is trying to discredit anything he disagrees with by using inflammatory and universally hated imagery. There is nothing that is remotely fascist about what the right and Trump are doing. ICE is enforcing laws that the left and the right agreed upon. The left, in fascist fashion, is trying to change those laws by using force to prevent their execution.2 points

They dont care. These people are traitors. TDS infected traitors. Perhaps the Republicans should play the same game the Democrats did and arrest traitors who post their evil tripe?2 points

Starting trade wars and threatening military action--tantrums--because he didn't win a participation trophy is the biggest exhibition of narcissism yet, and it seemed he'd be unlikely to top the Kennedy center fiasco and other absurd vanity projects. It's also wildly beneath the dignity of that office. He is an utter clown and America is now the laughingstock of the world. Seriously, we're joke. And even the MAGA cultists know it. Nobody, not even the densest of them, can read that and not recognize the wrongness. But they will defend it anyway, no doubt. They are already completely debased, without dignity left to lose, so they'll ride the train right off the cliff.2 points

Oh, everything is a pie. You can't do two things at the same time. Bow to Can'tsevative reasoning. We should be sending troops as a show and even better show if some were Inuit Rangers. It's not the other side of the world, it's next door,2 points

https://www.facebook.com/reel/876691261428458 1. Shows Good's vehicle being passed by an ICE vehicle, demonstrating ICE was NOT impeded. 2. Ross violated protocol by placing HIMSELF in the path of the vehicle. 3. Ross was pushed back by his outstretched left hand and chest contact with Good's slow moving vehicle, not hard enough to be knocked down and slightly stumbled. 4. More detail of similar ICE encounters and the RULES governing ICE behavior.1 point

If those Europeans have some brains left, I think they should start playing the game with the new rules DT has implemented in the game. What do I mean? They should seize on the opportunity to capture him and put him in jail, then sue him for extortion and war crimes. They should ask him to hand over Alaska to either Canada or Russia - his choice in exchange for being released. If he is unhappy, they should reduce his prisoner ration of food by 10% each day. If no deal is reached by June 15th, they should simply execute him in public. This will teach the World what democracy is.1 point

1. & 2. I think people get this and also understand small changes can lead to an outcome larger than the input. But in the case of something like addressing the need to certify more drs and nurses everyone gets the sense there is a deliberate effort to resist changing the things that could make that happen. No one can see much progress at all. It's like DST and trade-barrier hesitancy on steroids. This is the sort of stuff that could lead to populism, especially these days. A potential for the bad change you mention 5. Sure did. I know those rescue boats well, I've driven one and while they're designed to be self-righting I took issue with the scene where the rescue boat turned into a submarine. It was as cringe worthy as many a Deadliest Catch episode - biggest drama queens on the Seven Seas. 6. Someone had to go retrieve the broken dicky-line so we could bring the cod-end around the side of the boat. I was the youngest newest guy on board so I got elected. There were 85000 lbs in the net so it's possible you bought some as fish-sticks. Instead of a half-share I was paid a full-share. π1 point

https://www.newsweek.com/canada-pm-weighing-military-presence-in-greenland-report-11379395 "Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney is reportedly weighing the possibility of sending a military presence to Greenland for exercises with allies of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) amid escalating tensions over the territory after President Donald Trump said he wants to acquire the Arctic island, according to two senior Canadian officials who spoke to CBC News." IMHO that would be a big mistake. Why poke the bear with dementia? A simple sound bite about supporting Nato, sacrosanct borders, ETC... but more troops (We have some there with Norad) not necessarry... DON'T DO IT MARK!1 point

Trump is creating a so-called board of peace to deal with the Gaza. Carney is apparently considering joining it. He should forget it. It will be run by Trump, which is something Canada should avoid like the plague. Trump is also inviting Putin to be part of it. It could also cost Canada billions of dollars. Canada already spends around 12 billion dollars a year on foreign aid and various foreign liberal projects. We can't afford to do that. Taking on rebuilding the Gaza could cost every member of the board of peace billions of dollars. Also, Trump is threatening to take ownership of Greenland. He calls for Canada to become the 51st state. Carney needs to wake up. He should have nothing to do with it. We should not forget Hamas has still refused to lay down its weapons. They have no intention of maintaining a peace agreement with Israel. Canada should stay well away from that situation or could be dragged into a costly and useless effort. Carney still mulling 'Board of Peace' seat despite Trump's invitation to Putin1 point

This was exactly the theme of Carney's speech in Davos. Only he added, "You all should hate him, too." I find it fascinating that all these elite parasites who have bankrupted the middle class in the biggest wealth transfer in human history and eroded democratic freedoms all over the world, can warn about Trump with a straight face. So far, the diversion from past Davos meetings is also fascinating: 1. Larry Fink admitted that the amount of energy needed for data centers cannot be derived from the intermittent power from wind & solar, they need steady baseload power because they can't be turned off & on. (Be prepared for energy rationing and our elderly freezing to death.) 2. They're not saying "stakeholders" anymore. They're back to "shareholders". 3. They've exchanged "climate change" with "weather change". Trump making his way to the forum in Davos:1 point

As with everything, I think it depends. Having grown up around the GTA with and around plenty of Muslims, nothing about them seemed much different than the rest of my friends other than that they didn't eat pork. The fact that I was in a very white collar community might have something to do with it, but there's nothing inherently awful about Muslims or their "values", IMO. That doesn't mean I think we should have open-doors to Somalians or whatever, and I think we could be a lot more strict in refugee filtering, deportations etc. I recognize the problems and agree with a lot of the conclusions around western immigration policy. Some people are just a lot more reasonable about it than others. By most accounts, the refugees from Syria a decade ago have by and large integrated extremely well into Canada. I don't know exactly what the difference was, but already being a mixed population of mostly muslims living alongside christians and druzis or whatever probably helps. Escaping warzones with young families probably helped too.1 point

Confused if you are pro Trump or anti trump or don't care Trump. As I recall, he never threatened NATO allies, only said he wanted Greenland. Trump just posted an email telling the PM of Denmark that he is doing this because they would not give him the Nobel Peace Prize. This has nothing to do with politics or threats...it is because he is pissed that his ego was not satisfied. https://www.pbs.org/newshour/world/norwegian-leader-says-he-received-trump-message-that-reportedly-ties-greenland-to-nobel-peace-prize Also, Greenland has been the point of numerous NATO exercises and can be again.1 point

robowoke is a woketard and he demonstrates that frequently. For example: robowoke thinks indoctrinating people (especially kids) can somehow change them into the opposite sex. Of course this is absurd, but it's how weak minds think, and robowoke's mind is among the weakest of the weak.1 point

Anecdotal evidence is just that... and just like your quote that appears to be from some Chinese propaganda outfit, you did not provide a link so we could even evaluate it on our own. His experiences, even if true for himself, do not provide any kind of picture for the overal system and how it impacts the average Chinese person.1 point

I quoted a man that worked in China several years and quoted his first hand experience in a number of services. What little experience he had with health care was very good. He got to see a specialist the next day. You probably have much faster service in the U.S. but you need good insurance and / or pay lots of cash. We can't easily compare Canadian or China's health care with U.S. because yours is probably good if you have good insurance or lots of money. Canada's system is public, more like China's which is public. But Canada's is poorly run or doesn't have the money in it.1 point
