You know exactly what i'm saying...are you saying kids in our education system have a choice, are you saying they have nor confronted anyone by not using their preferred pronouns....That our own government pushed this agenda.....and if your saying we have a choice in all this , my choice is not to get involved in their fantasy or yours...2 points

Finally an actual treatment for Trump Derangement Syndrome (TDS) that millions of Americans have been searching for.* Take if: You’re terrified of climate change* You’re feeling angry, resentful or hypocritical* You feel self-righteous, arrogant or entitled* You believe men belong in women’s sports* You're triggered by the American flag* POSSIBLE SIDE EFFECTS: Strong faith in America, learn what a woman is, accept that Donald Trump won in 2016, understand that Biden didn't receive the most votes in history, accept that Donald Trump won in 2024, discover rational thought, walk away from the Democrats, optimism, hope for the future, renewed faith in the free market, admission that life is better under Trump, discover humor, patriotism and realize the need for a strong border.*1 point

Nobody within the forces is recommending a mixed fleet , it is mentioned why they are not in several of the U tubes i posted....it offers no advantages at all at this point in time, with no funding for training , lack of pilots, not to mention they are already constructing infra structure tailored for the F-35... Can ANYONE in Canada guarantee what these aircraft are used for....What you leave out is what our F-18's have ben used for, Part of NATO's European defense, doing combat air patrols over Iraq, and the gulf, attacking Iraqi naval ships, participating in operations in Syria, Libya, Iraq, Kosovo and many more.... Lets talk about what combat operations the gripen has taken part off.. playing a role in NATO defence.... The F-35 has done multiple combat sorties against Iran, one of the world most heavily defended countries in the world, Iraq, Syria, Not including any of the US operations....And not one combat loss recorded....I ask you which one would you want your children or grand kids to strap up in.... Canada has a long history of keeping equipment well past it's due date, F-18 is a prime example and is coming up on 50 years before being fully replaced....Gen 4.5 aircraft are already outdated with Gen 6 aircraft coming on line....even with so many gen 5 aircraft...Canada might get in on a gen 6 aircraft, but like the f-35 it will be very mature before we buy in, and then other nations will be getting a gen 7 aircraft...1 point

Sure...I recall the Nestucca spill around 1984. Long Beach was littered with 20 - 40 foot wide pancakes of oil congealed into that shape by a fortuitous cold snap. The pancakes stayed like that waiting to be rolled up like burritos and hauled off the beach. For nearly two weeks of cold flat perfect calm weather authorities dithered and seduced the canine lost in a moral panic about allowing local excavators and dump trucks onto their precious beach. Finally they said go for it and that very night a storm blew in and within a day 5 m waves smashed all the pancakes into pieces the size of a dime that you can still find to this day. It blew hard like that for two weeks and the clean up that finally followed was so late it was essentially pointless. I was there, I saw it with my own eyes.1 point

That's right stupid, ONLY MAGA. It's ONLY MAGA because MAGA is the only chance this country's got. We sure as hell can't leave it to you pronoun sluts as you can't even define "woman". lol1 point

Only a fool believes that MAGA doesn't / didn't have legitimate arguments in supporting Trump. As much as people say he lies, he is arguably more truthful than the facade the Left were trying to hoist on to the American people with Biden. OMG! At least Trump is truthful in the fact that he is doing what he campaigned on - albeit perhaps in a heavy handed manner.1 point

So...you're actually saying that you Libbies did, with knowledge and malice, warp the laws in order to "get Trump" and everyone who supports his platform. But that now that you've had your way, the Republicans should not reciprocate. Your political and media heros are doomed. They are already being destroyed one by one. And this is only the beginning. Yes...you snot-nosed little sh1t...it's time to pay the piper. You dumb fcks spent your load and failed. Your stupidity is only eclipsed by your nastiness.1 point

Here's the thing about that. The engines, and a lot of the most high-tech equipment on that plane are licensed from American manufacturers. Which means the Swedes can't sell their planes to anyone if the Americans say no. Which leaves the amusing possibility that Carney could cancel the F-35, announce we were buying the Gripen, and then the Americans refuse to grant Sweden permission to sell it to us. Then we would have to wait while the Swedes replace the engine (which they have plans to do) and the other technology with non-American parts, solve whatever integration problems arise, and then buy them. Don't know how long that would delay the purchase, but it definitely wouldn't be a few days.1 point

And as per normal the usual gang of crayon eaters jump to reply. With their denial of multiple reports every day of this country and that state generating more and more of their power with wind & solar. They do it because it's useless they say. And with their heads buried in a greasy slant 6 missed the part that the alternator makes the electricity and the battery just stores it.1 point

Are you living in an alternate reality? Trump is decimating all services to American citizens. He’s eroding worker’s protections, cutting wages and making working conditions worse, hurting Americans with his trade wars, and causing prices to go up, causing Americans to lose their health care, or see their premiums rise, eroding financial protection ... etc etc ... he has nothing for the average American1 point

Actually always confused me a little. They knew that there was copper, they knew how to find copper but I guess they just never figured out how to turn copper into something useful. When Europeans showed up and showed them copper then you right away that they'd seen it before and where it was. That'll working tends to start with copper and it was around and it just seems odd to me that all across what would become Canada none of them ever realized what you could do with it.1 point

I don’t know if you are joking or not, but of course such a sentiment is antithetical to the very basic foundational principles upon with the USA is built. The USA is a land ruled by the law, not the whims of men. So, for example, in 1962, we have then Attorney General Robert F. Kennedy remarking: "the orders of the federal courts can and will be enforced ... Every American has the duty to obey the law and the right to expect that the law will be enforced ... It is fundamental to our system that there be respect for the law and compliance with all laws..." But, since Trump’s inauguration, the Department of Justice has been corrupted. Listen to the perversion (compounded by a complicit Supreme Court) voiced by current Attorney General Pam Bondi: "No longer will we have rogue judges striking down President Trump's policies across the entire nation." https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=raZP-z9l9Zw&t=1s Here are the mission and values of the DOJ, according to their website: Our Mission The mission of the Department of Justice is to uphold the rule of law, to keep our country safe, and to protect civil rights. Our Values Independence and Impartiality. We work each day to earn the public’s trust by following the facts and the law wherever they may lead, without prejudice or improper influence. Honesty and Integrity. Our employees adhere to the highest standards of ethical behavior, mindful that, as public servants, we must work to earn the trust of, and inspire confidence in, the public we serve. Respect. Our employees value differences in people and in ideas and treat everyone with fairness, dignity, and compassion. Excellence. We work every day to provide the highest levels of service to the American people and to be a responsible steward of the taxpayers’ dollars. These values have been completely corrupted from day one of the Trump administration. Recently, 60 lawyers who were fired or resigned from the DOJ were interviewed by the New York Times. The state of play at the DOJ is highly alarming, to say the least. From the opening of the article: President Trump’s second term has brought a period of turmoil and controversy unlike any in the history of the Justice Department. Trump and his appointees have blasted through the walls designed to protect the nation’s most powerful law enforcement agency from political influence; they have directed the course of criminal investigations, openly flouted ethics rules and caused a breakdown of institutional culture. To date, more than 200 career attorneys have been fired, and thousands more have resigned. (The Justice Department says many of them have been replaced.) [...] Beginning with Trump’s first day in office, the lawyers narrated the events that most alarmed them over the next 10 months. They described being asked to drop cases for political reasons, to find evidence for flimsy investigations and to take positions in court they thought had no legitimate basis. They also talked about the work they and their colleagues were told to abandon — investigations of terrorist plots, corruption and white-collar fraud. The Unraveling of the Justice Department Sixty attorneys describe a year of chaos and suspicion.1 point

No i did not forget, What i was doing is pointing out that THIS liberal government cut Veterans affairs funding by more than Half...And using the excuse that the Conservatives have cut Veterans affairs in the past would give the liberal the license to cut funding by half is a silly argument... Lets face it, our military has never been a priority for Canadians period, for many decades...Considering the unwavering loyalty of our Military members have shown this country, not to mention all of their sacrifices they make on a daily bases only to have Canadians dismiss all of this because it does not effect their own tiny bubbles...I and many other vets find this disheartening, embarrassing, and in some cases disgusting.... Canadians don't have to worry about WHY recruitment is down i mean who wants to sign up for unlimited liability for a country who really does not care one way or another, ...And it is not just the military, it is every career that involves unlimited liability, police, fire fighters, EMS, all of them are asking WHY, when we as a nation can not even bother to just equip them properly, train them, pay them and finally give them some respect... And while the current Liberal government is moving in the right direction, it needs to move a lot faster than they are right now....1 point

Your post was nothing but rampant hyperbole And emotionally charged language "everything Trump says is a lie. Literally everything." That is Factually incorrect/ That was how you started. You didn't get a single sentence in before making untrue statements Trump lies a lot. but many of the things he says ARE true as well. The rest is nonsense and hate filled opinion.. Trump has never accused hillary clinton of child trafficking as another example. Yet you claim he did so for years. Your post was nothing but vitriol over the top emotionalism basically saying how much you hate trump. The few tiny grains of truth that might have been located in there are Swept Away by the absolute river of sewage.1 point

My post was factual, as opposed to these unfounded spins. But it's interesting, this type of reaction is pretty common from MAGA. Rather than engage with the issues, they take any perceived criticism of Trump as a personal attack on them, and that is because they have fused their identity with Trump. So, they react to the person presenting them with a reality they don't want to face by attacking the bearer of of the facts who in their mind threatens not only Trump but themselves. Their ego is tied in with Trump's, and his ego-annihilation would mean the ego-annihilation of themselves. This is all rooted in a shared hate, and that's why MAGA will never examine or refute the false reality that Trump has constructed for them.1 point

I think you forgot how badly Harper cut Veterans "given the callousness of the Harper government? In the past decade Conservatives closed offices, cut 900 jobs, clawed back benefits, killed lifetime pensions for Afghanistan veterans, and failed to spend $1.13 billion of the Veterans Affairs budget but found money to increase advertising and ceremonies for politicians to honour veterans." https://thetyee.ca/Opinion/2015/08/19/Conservative-Attacks-Canadian-Veterans/ "Departmental performance reports stretching back to 2009 show that roughly 897 positions have been eliminated across Veterans Affairs, with 33 per cent coming out of the section that administers pensions and awards. Those same records show the health and rehabilitation branches also took a sizable hit — roughly 372 positions during the same time frame." https://www.cbc.ca/news/politics/vets-disability-branch-budget-slashed-between-2009-and-2013-records-show-1.2863732 "While under the previous Liberal government the time needed to purchase equipment had dropped to only 89 months, under Harper this delay has grown to 199 months. This was partially due to the year after year defense spending cuts." https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Foreign_policy_of_the_Stephen_Harper_government Lets face it...the Military has never been a priority in Canadian politics. Recent politicians and programs are showing some light but lets see if it really happens.1 point

And Jeffries is caught up in the scandal. He sent emails to Epstein begging Epstein to give Democrats money and Epstein was invited, by Obama, to a Democrat fundraiser. Both things happened FIVE YEARS AFTER BEING CONVICTED. The Democrats pushed and pushed for this and now they are the ones going down for it. The sad thing about this is we are going to become a monoparty government. While I disagree with Democrats, we need them to moderate the extremists in our party.1 point

Those who have done multiple tours in the area (UNEF, UNDOF, UNTSO, UNIFIL, MFO) and trained extensively with the IDF have an observation and a simple question: The observation is: Hamas isn't a political entity with political objectives that are subject to negotiation. It's a religious entity with religious objectives and those objectives are doctrinal in nature and non-negotiable. The question is: in view of that, how would you negotiate with Hamas? It's an important question and one rarely answered by people who can't get through Christmas dinner with their in-laws. Put another way, how do you negotiate with the murderous neighbour next door who just got out of jail for fire bombing your house and poisoning your dog because you happen to be Jewish (even though you've never left Canada and vote NDP). Like it or not, the absence of a credible answer leaves no alternative but pursuing the present course.1 point
