Exclusive: BBC ‘doctored’ Trump speech, internal report reveals A Panorama programme, broadcast a week before the US election, “completely misled” viewers by showing the president telling supporters he was going to walk to the Capitol with them to “fight like hell”, when in fact he said he would walk with them “to peacefully and patriotically make your voices heard”. The “mangled” footage was highlighted in a 19-page dossier on BBC bias, which was compiled by a recent member of the corporation’s standards committee and is now circulating in government departments. Apparently this kind of thing is common and this is the problem with the left wing media these days. While they love to pretend that it's the right that changes stories the fact of the matter is the left wise even more. But with their cot the left wing supporters kind of just blow it off has nothing and then scream about how fox is fake news. Really this kind of deliberate editing to create a story that doesn't really exist should be punishable under law. The freedom of the press is the not the freedom of Deliberate lies4 points

Politico Dick Cheney, who spent eight years as perhaps the most influential vice president in history and surely one of the most polarizing, has died. He was 84. “His beloved wife of 61 years, Lynne, his daughters, Liz and Mary, and other family members were with him as he passed. The former Vice President died due to complications of pneumonia and cardiac and vascular disease,” his family said in a statement released Tuesday morning. ********** Please keep it respectful.3 points

November 2nd was the birthday of the father of America First. He had a successful yet rocky political career because he believed government should be for the American people and not for other nations. He was right about NATO expansion leading to war with Russia. He was right about Iraq. He was right about Israel. About Iran. About the debt. Pat Buchanan started the revival of American Nationalism... And I thank Gawd for him. MY NATION FIRST!2 points

Child, if you cannot refute the facts in the story then you don't get to claim the story is invalid because you don't like the source. Stop acting like such a buttwad. You know better. As it stands they happen to be right. And it gets worse Canadian governments spent $158 billion on green economy but created only 68,000 jobs: report - The Hub That's about 2.3 million for each job, and no guarantee those jobs will last any length of time. In fact as I understand it many have already evaporated, And with the difficult economic times ahead more are on the chopping block. That money included subsidies for EVS which have stopped and now the EV manufacturers are leaving. If you actually care about the environment and you hope one day that the liberals will get back into power after they inevitably get kicked out this time then it would be wise to take an honest look at what happened and demand that future liberal governments that you would like to see elected and sure that any of their policies don't destroy the economy or take hundreds of billions of dollars out of the economy at a time when we desperately need money to pay for critical programs We're running 70 to 100 billion dollar deficits right now. You think that $160 billion dollars would be nice to have in our pockets maybe?2 points

Who needs Europeans when so many Canadians freely choose the USA, with net migration out of Canada to America each year. Canadians also love them some E2 non-immigrant visa action for better work opportunities in the evil USA.1 point

VP Dick Cheney was exactly what America needed at the time. He is rumoured to have said to bury him face down with boots on when he dies, so his many critics can kiss his ass. He was also SecDef, House Minority Whip, Congressman (WY), and White House Chief of Staff going back to President Ford. They don't make VPs like that any more...RIP.1 point

Harper had the worst worldwide economic downturn since the great depression. And it lasted longer than the pandemic and was harder to come back from. Sorry but a complete swing and a miss on your part. That would be generated by the end users, not Canada. And they would be generating that pollution whether the oil came from Canada or Russia or Saudi Arabia Nice attempted deflection though.1 point

Carnage is the destroyer of Canada. Everything that he is doing is meant to cause chaos and mayhem and poverty. All the things that are going terribly wrong in Canada today like massive 3rd world invasion immigration, crime, high fuel and food prices, housing, inflation, the low peso Canadian dollar, high unemployment, and all of the many new C anti-freedom Bills and censorship laws being proposed are all just part of a WEF Marxist globalist plan and agenda to try and destroy Canada from within and turn Canada into a 3rd world non-white multicultural and communist hell hole. It is all there for all to see as to what is going on in Canada today. Sadly, we have way too many many insane lieberals in Canada who seem to think that Carnage is doing a great job,. When i ask those same insane lieberals as to what has Carnage done so far to make Canada great, none here can give me anything. That says to me that Carnage has not done a bloody thing to try and help make Canada great, but instead Carnage the dictator wants to make Canada more woke, DEI, more broke and help bring on bankruptcy, and not only for Canada but also for Canadians. This is why i keep saying that Canada is toast, especially if the lieberals should win the next election. What we are seeing today is nothing to what happen to Canada and Canadians if the Marxist globalist lieberals win the next election, especially if they win a majority. Conservatives better start applying for refugee asylum status or apply for citizenship in America. Believe it or not. 🤔1 point

True, and your idea is common around the world. Many nations import cheap labor, even without the hope for citizenship. Only problem is that illegals and indentured workers displace entry level and lower income American labour...same thing is happening in Canada. With H1-B talent, even skilled American workers are undercut by lower salaries/benefits. That's why I like President Trump's new $100,000 entry fee.1 point

By Socialism you mean health care, social security, EI...? Even the most right wing conservative party wouldn't scrap those. Even the US has some of those. are they a socialist country? How much do they subsidize industries? Every advanced country has social programs. Just what the heck are you talking about?1 point

How long do you think it will keep "working" for democrats when they are facing 5 hour TSA lines and no snap benefits? And let's be clear. Democrats are shutting down the government because they want to make temporary Covid subsidies permanent. They want those subsidies to be permanent because they are using that money to attract illegal aliens that they are turning into voters in an attempt to take over the government.1 point

At risk that Americans don't smarten up and come to the realization they're the ones paying for Trump's tariffs. We should put out ads that underscore how confused Trump is about them. There must be dozens of clips of him saying America will get rich off all the tariffs it collects. And we still have dry powder on hand - energy exports. I suspect Ford is loading up his cannons as we speak.1 point

And it never worked. And trying to make it work usually worked out badly for those who were insisting that it should You realize you just made my point for me In every part of the world the majority of people live in the cities. The reason we only have a few cities is because we have a low population. We have more space than the united states but a lower population in California. People need to do things for a living. They need to be able to make money. So unless you're a farmer you're going to want to live somewhere that you can get a job. Almost all of our land is habitable and comfortably so. We just don't have anyone to habit it at the moment. The first locations have been living in those areas for hundreds and hundreds of years without even the benefit of technology so yeah. And with global warming less of the American land will be good and more of the Canadian land will be good. There's actually some interesting papers out there pointing out this will be a net benefit for us. We also have a shockingly huge percentage of the earth's fresh water. We have massive mineral deposits that Americans don't have. Coastline and access to blue sea ports although not decisively so. To put it into perspective, we could have a growth. Which fueled a hyper-strong economy for about a hundred years before we even began to stretch the amount of room but we've got. America does not have that luxury.1 point

So you're saying the 'green economy' is actually much, much larger? Is that it? It's just like.. invisible. The Fraser Institute is a conservative organization, which is why your ilk automatically ignores what it says. You're waiting for the CBC or Toronto Star to come out and dismiss the spending as wasteful. Which, of course, will never happen.1 point

You clearly know NOTHING about that which you speak. Norah O'Donnell (who interviewed Trump on 60 Minutes) is a former Network Anchor for CBS News. She is beautiful and FAR FROM a "dumb btch." Her questions for Trump were perfectly reasonable and Trump just kept LYING to her the whole time. Did you have too much to drink, or you just don't understand that Trump LIES PATHOLOGICALLY ALL THE TIME? I've got news for you: the Constitution is the supreme law of our land, NOT as Trump treats it "just a suggestion." Instead of "taking care that laws be faithfully executed" as Trump has SWORN TO DO as POTUS, he keeps breaking the LAWS all the time. And now he is saying he PLANS TO VIOLATE Posse Comitatus AGAIN by sending more troops to US cities "to enforce the laws." Who didn't see that coming? This time he's going to have troops in every Democratic city he can order to confiscate the voting machines so he can CHOOSE WHO WINS. But that TREASON is OK with you, right? 🤮1 point

While I have yet to label it 'fake', the wording and polling demographics have always pointed to their steering polls towards the results they wish to obtain in the first place. Of which none, not a single one benefits anyone other than corporate interests. A right wing propaganda machine, a known fact since it's inception. NOTE: economically right wing.1 point

I’m seeing very little of the NDP leadership candidates on CBC other than Heather McPherson. I must say I like the cut of her jib on the style front. She’s a good speaker with a nice cadence who gets her points across well. Definitely an improvement on Singh. I said I’d like to see a more working class perspective and Rob Ashton has called my bluff. He is all that but falls short on the style front - ponderous and lugubrious, a real Bassett hound. I don’t want to sound superficial, but the NDP doesn’t need another beardy, especially a low energy, bespectacled, baldy beardy who sounds like he’s going to a funeral. Politics is partly about sales and, yes, sex appeal. The only other candidate that I’ve noticed, Avi Lewis, is too far out there on climate policy and free trade.1 point
