White? Those people of color are now in key government positions there and in Canada. Then they advocate for their own former nations . culture and people, opening the flood gates for all of them. It is insane to insist on multiculturalism and how this makes us stronger! We are already messed up beyond repair.2 points

Let's be real here. If this were a series of right-wingers out shooting and killing people and attacking the government like this, the Democrats and those on the left would be in full meltdown mode right now. It would be 24/7 media pandemonium about the danger of right-wing violence, and every single Republican who dared say one word critical of the government or administration would be accused of inciting violence. Meanwhile, the media has already buried the ambush attack on ICE barely a couple of months ago. The Democrats continue on with their dangerous rhetoric about ICE.2 points

It's relatively tame now. Pavement, cell coverage, amenities, etc. This time of the year, there's an exodus of motorhomes, big 5th wheels, etc. with Alabama, Missouri, Florida, etc. plates heading back stateside. It's not like it was in the early '70's when we carried barrels of gas and multiple spare tires, and would get a new windshield after a trip . . . It's safe now for the hordes of herbies . . . Plug in herbie . . . the north awaits you.2 points

I would say that's a given but since I don't get some of the reactions here I'l simply pose a question: Trump bluster aside, a simple google search will propose a possible (non definitive) link between the consumption of Acetaminophen and the possibility of neurodevelopment issues during pregnancy. There is no ban, no restrictions and everyone agrees that more research is required to confirm or deny the existence of a causal relationship. So: 1. Knowing that, should the administration have said nothing about it until definitive proof (one way or another) was established even though that process could take years? and; 2. Had they done that and a link was definitively proven after 2 years of research, would you then fault them for sitting on the information and not giving expectant mothers the option to exercise their own discretion? As an aside, fools making videos of themselves gobbling up Tylenol by the handful and Herbs assertion that...: "The bozo uses Goebbel's headquarters as a source of his 'facts'. Amazing people so damn gullible can never learn." ... is the domain of buffoons with advanced TDS, it's well worthy of being ignored by sensible people looking to make sensible determinations for themselves and their own situation. It's reminiscent of covid madness and Ivermectin Derangement Syndrome where no rational discussion of the biology/science behind it or anything close to tolerating personal threat assessments was in the cards.. For the record, my answers are: 1. Hell NO 2. Hell yes... Herb would be personally leading the charge and suggesting that Trump deliberately conducted medical experiments on pregnant women (sorry Herb that would be "pregnant people" for you) whilst connecting those dots directly back to Hitler. Clearly a manufactured pic but note the "high vis" jacket. It should be mandatory for confirmed lunatics with advanced TDS before allowing them to be out in public unescorted. Got yours yet Herb?2 points

There isn't. Liberals believe that because they create statistics which deliberately cut out a lot of liberal crimes. For example the January 6th protest is included in conservative violence statistics for the most part but the Floyd riots which did 4 billion dollars of damage cost a dozen lives and hundreds of injured are not. Anybody who wrote even a Facebook post favoring trump is considered to be republican and any violence they do is an act of republican violence, and it's the exact opposite for democrats When you compare apples to apples democrats are more violent. also, Democrats believe in political violence as being 'necessary' more. So there you go, democrats are indeed the more violent, in thought and action'2 points

He never opposed to civil rights act as a concept, @robosmith is entirely lying again as usual. He said the passing of the act in the form it was in was a mistake, that they should have made changes because the language and nature wound up doing a lot of harm by creating a sort of 'permanent dei' environment and not actually promoting black equality. In otherwords, he didn't feel the act did a good job of what it was trying to do. but of course robosmear and his ilk try their best to take every single thing said out of context to make him look bad. We saw this with trump in the election too. Remember when "can you iimagine biden in charge of the auto sector, it would be a blood bath for auto manufacturers." became "Trump promises blood bath in the streets if biden elected"2 points

Don't forget, herbie's version of a woman includes "a guy who just tucked his junk between his legs two seconds ago and suddenly calls himself a woman". He had to lower his standards that far to get a date with his cousin. So, in fairness to Herbie, he isn't lying when he says that MH meets his criteria for being called a female, a werewolf, or a conservative. MH is just just some new kind of a conservative who supports left-wing terrorism. It's wild how open-minded he is about stuff like that.2 points

Our system was a lot more right-wing and unforgiving when I was a teenager than it is now. Yet I was working in a bar smack downtown and would walk home at 2AM, a distance of some twenty blocks or so, and never see a homeless person nor have the least fear of crime. The solution then was vagrancy laws, locking up drug users/abusers, and mental health hospitals for crazy people. I think we need more of these.1 point

No, I said it serves the purpose of making fewer people vote for the right. DEI is just affirmative action...something that's been with us for decades that you people suddenly decided needed to be made into a huge issue. You look and sound like complete mòrons when you do. I didn't mean systemic racism I meant ordinary racism. It's all over the place. Virtually everyone is a racist nowadays. Of course that's what you note. As I've suggested before imagine if the left and right were races. Note Bele, on the left wearing the necklace, is hunting political traitors.1 point

The rule changes are nuts. Why would I want to watch NFL lite? The NFL isn’t popular due to its great set of rules, just as the CFL isn’t going to garner any more support by having rules closer to the NFL. The CFL game already has better rules overall than the NFL, so the rules aren’t what is holding the CFL back. Makes zero sense.1 point
-
I don’t understand Canadians who deride and troll the CFL. Many of the same people who claim they won’t watch the CFL because they *think* the players aren’t NFL-caliber talent happily watch minor league hockey. And it’s uniquely a Canadian thing. Nobody is more into football than Americans and those who have seen the CFL speak very highly of it. They certainly don’t troll it the way some Canadians feel the need to. I think some Canadians need a league to have American teams in order to feel validated. In their mind Canada is “small time” and USA is “big time”. If the Canadian NHL teams split off to form their own Canadian hockey league even with the same players I wonder if they would also get the same level of trolling from their fellow Canadians.1 point

No political bias at all....but the first thing I'd say is that Trump or any other politician shouldn't delve into subjects of this importance without conclusive facts. This was an RFKjr thing from the beginning and despite medical community disagreement they charged ahead for whatever the reason....ego, news cycle, who knows. 1. No, they shouldn't have come out with this. I'm not even remotely close to medicine research educated but I'd take more assurance in comments from people who's careers have been devoted to this; “Suggestions that acetaminophen use in pregnancy causes autism are not only highly concerning to clinicians but also irresponsible when considering the harmful and confusing message they send to pregnant patients, including those who may need to rely on this beneficial medicine during pregnancy,” a statement from the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists said. “If you don’t take Tylenol when you have a fever, especially in the first trimester, we know that can be detrimental to the fetus,” Gyamfi-Bannerman said. 2. That's a hypothetical so I can't answer it. If we had the luxury of hindsight the obvious answer would be 'yes, they were right for doing this'. If hindsight shows otherwise then obviously nothing at all should have been said by politicians. It's a hypothetical though, just like 'may' and 'needs more research' means nothing is conclusive. I don't remember any Tylenol talk or my wife even needing to take it when she was pregnant for our children...? My daughter is pregnant right now though and if she had a fever and asked my advice of what to do (which she's not going to) then I'd say listen to what medical experts say, not a politician. For me and I'd hope the majority of people, that's only common sense. Who knows with the vid... I'm sure lots of people are embellishing for their 30 seconds of fame but there's also a lot of very uneducated and gullible people out there who hang on the words of a president. Let medical experts talk about medicine and politicians talk about politics.1 point

Nothing the usual fools say surprises me.... EV's don't fall into the anti-climate rhetoric that Trump taught them so they're compelled to talk them down. I think the PHEV is the way to go.... obviously distances depending but if the majority of your driving is city/short distances a tank of gas will last for a month or two and if you need to go a long distance then you have the combustable engine. We'll be looking in the next year or so to replace my wife's car and a straight EV may be the choice there with her driving virtually all city/local.1 point

Child. I know exactly how EVs work from the motor windings to the battery chemical composition to the programming and set up of the onboard computers. I know where the charging stations are and aren't all along the highways I drive and what kind of connectors are what. I've been hobbying and schooled in electrical, electronic and mechanical engineering since the 1960s, worked in telecommunications and microwave transmission since you were a fetus. I ran propane vehicles when it was 9c/L and gas was 53c, and LNG ones too. And fully understand an electric propulsion system that's 90% fuel efficient and delivers 100& torque over 100% RPM is better than one that's 40% fuel efficient with a limited range of torque. So do ALL the railways. That's why N American ones use hybrid diesel electrics. And why they still use trolley buses today. You clearly don't. So who's dishonest here buddy?1 point

There's no "giving him the benefit of the doubt": he clearly called Cheney out for being a warhawk from the comfort of her own living room. 100.0% that, and nothing else. Stop f'n lying. This doesn't tell the whole story but The Toronto Police Service most wanted is linked below. https://www.tps.ca/organizational-chart/specialized-operations-command/detective-operations/investigative-services/homicide/most-wanted/ Years ago, people familiar with some of the cultures suggested that if we wanted to import people from specific areas that the immigrants would require extra support and that the support required came at a cost. The also warned not to ghettoize these folks and warehouse them vertically in ethnic enclaves. They never said don't do it, they said be cautious and be thoughtful about the "how" side of the equation. They were ignored, they were vilified, called racist xenophobes, white nationalists and any number of other names that people like Herb can think up after a 6 pack... in short, we collectively cheaped out and failed to do it right. Herbs not going to believe that and I know he won't track down the mothers of the folks in the pictures... if he did, he'd see a common theme developing. As long as the Herbs of the world dance naked on rooftops in the moonlight and refuse to acknowledge that they were (at least) partially responsible for those pictures turning out the way they did, it will continue and get worse as momentum and collection rate increases. It doesn't get better by itself...1 point

Our society has come to a point where if you look at e.g. a TV show with 5 white cast members many recoil in horror at the racism of it all. FYI I drove a Wrangler that charged up with gasoline. But unlike most drivers that can only see the license plate of the car in front of them clearly, I notice the mountains and glaciers, the hare on the side of the road and the speed signs as well as the kid on the sidewalk, the cafe and chargers in every damn town. Even in some rest stops when you stop to pee. You should try more going outside and looking before you simply call everyone else outside Cement City liars. It's 2025 in the whole country not just in your concrete cubicle. Even got 5 chargers in 2 locations in my town that has just one BEV, a Chevy Bolt.1 point
