I am from just north of that area where that largest fire is. Except for a few homes evacuated on one back road, no one has been affected yet and it's still confined to uninhabited areas. As of right now, some thunderstorms are moving in and while that could make things worse, I think they are getting a pretty good rain right now over that area. Probably won't make much of a difference but man it's good to see some rain.

I know when I go hiking I usually end up with several broken bones, so I am glad Susan Holt is protecting me. She should just outright ban us from hiking at all times, now that I think of it. And then what if you break a bone cycling on the street or skateboarding.... that could be a drain on emergency services as well. We should just ban everything.
