What the judge said was that trump was justified in removing them, but that the method didn't give them time to exercise POSSIBLE legal remedy BEFORE they were deported. It did not say that it HAD to, and it allows entirely for them to challenge it AFTER they're deported. The judge did NOT say that deporting them ended their ability to conduct a legal challenge. So the judge did not say they had a right to do that BEFORE they left, he only noted that the method probably didn't allow for it. It was your confirmation bias that caused you to believe that what it says is that he was SUPPOSED To give them the time or that they couldn't complain from outside the country. What he did was legal, they can exercise their recourse outside of the country, the method he's chosen would not reasonably allow for them to exercise it inside the country. Maybe don't lecture other people on their reading skills until you learn to read yourself

Best case scenario is you increase the value of your home by a bit more than double your total cost of renos, in a static market, but TBH, in the FVREB market where I live, you could renovate your home and still lose money on it if your timing is bad. For example, between May and Aug 2022 the HPI price here dropped by $200k. So the average detached home here was worth $1.7M in May and then $1.5M in Aug. If you spent $50K on renos to renovate it over that period, and increased the value of your home according to its May valuation by $100K, you'd still end up selling for $100K less in Aug than you would have if you left it in its original state and sold it in May. There are other factors involved, but that's a realistic scenario.

I would bet you money that not even one out of ten could list the freedoms protected by the first amendment--let alone the more obscure amendments. A majority think that free speech means you can say whatever you want on social media. That's why they're so susceptible to misinformation. like Joe Biden stickers on gas pumps, "They're eating the dogs and cats!" and "the election was rigged!" There's a reason Trump "loves the poorly educated." He can say whatever ridiculous shit he wants and you people will fall for it. This country is far from perfect, but it's worked well enough that people take for granted the hard-won innovations of our forefathers. Well the thing is he knows perfectly well there's no chance of him being defeated between now and next march when he would have to produce the next budget unless he skips on that too. So he's doing it because he doesn't want to have a plan that people can hold him to. If he puts out a plan that the deficit is going to be 60 billion and then for whatever reason he wants to rack it up to 100 billion he looks bad. But if he never says what it's going to be then people can't say he went over budget I wonder if he's going to produce a budget next year. He'll still have to get votes for spending but he only needs one other party to agree and the NDP isn't going to say no to any spending anytime soon and risk going to the polls.
