  5. It's not normal. I react strongly to significant lies. Leftist react strongly to imaginary lies, or immaterial statements that are incorrect like "It didn't rain during my 17-minute inauguration speech"... The left "23 droplets just called..."

  9. Poilievre has to sparkle tonight but he would have been better off establishing a warmer persona before this and ‘reluctantly’ going into full snark mode in the debates. As it is, any sharpness now may deter some of the voters he needs against his reassuring, avuncular opponent.

  11. I seem to recall a post about someone's kids who "can see a bullshitter", which then went on to talk about how his BS-wary children support Carney 😂 Talk about stupid lol. Yeah, such a 180, genius. "Workers" noticed the rising price of gas, groceries, housing, energy bills, interest rates, etc caused by Trudeau. Workers remember being forced to take the jab to keep their job. It's workers that utterly detest the sub-human pieces of shit in the LPOC.

  12. You said... I showed you that globalist ideology had nothing to do with the USA becoming wealthy. In fact, since Clinton, the USA has been actively destroying its own middle-class. Perhaps even before that. You make a lot of stupid statements based on your limited knowledge and lack of research. As for what Trump is doing...it's about time the USA had a leader who cared more about the people, than Wall Street.

  13. It may come as a surprise to you but the world does not revolve around you and your feelings about what you need to know. There are other people. Were you criticizing CBC when they asked Pierre the same question? Are you referring to intersex, for example?

  14. The problem is that both sides of the political spectrum are often guilty of demonising their opponents. This takes the focus away from the real problems - the economy, education, health care. People have had enough of the show, it's time to discuss the substance.

  15. Not really. The debates were translated live. The voice they had overdubbed for Carney actually sounded quite like him. They all had male voices except for Jagmeet. Or maybe that was a male. Actually it sounded a bit like a man who may have a deep voice but had also huffed some helium. Really rough night for Jagmeet all around. Rebel News, Northern Perspective and a bunch of other youtube channels had it.

  18. I noticed that, but what I didn't see was him answering the question about protecting women's sports, bathrooms, etc. He said some mumbo-jumbo and walked away. I don't see how Carney's answer was at all in-line with conservative viewpoints on the topic. Which still doesn't mean anything, because even if Carney did give an answer, we'd be fools to take him at his word.

  20. Of course not. What if you were visiting the US and they decided for some reason they didn't like you and fired you off to an El Salvador prison in the middle of the night. I'm glad you finally realize the US is being turned into another China or Iran. That's one of the dumbest whataboutisms you have come up with yet.

  21. 1) Trump has only been President for 86 days! 2) Trump had damaged rhe entire global economy 3) Trump’s damage is entirely self-inflicted and self-created whereas Trudeau’s policies, including the bad ones, were affected by covid and global supply chain challenges that were not of his making 4) Even if Trudeau’s economic policies were incorrect, they were broadly in line with other OECD countries and so were the challenges Canada experienced, e.g housing shortage 5)As Ive said many times already what makes Trump’s mismanagement so absolutely isnt that he’s trying a policy that’s having negative results. Look, Policy failure is part of being in government sometimes. Every president and prime minister experiences this on some level. If elected, PP will have them too, as much as you’d like to pretend he’s a god he is kot. What makes Trump’s economic disaster the ultimate level of misconduct is the fact that this is something of such national and global importance and his disastrous actions are being done with NO policy at all and NOBODY with any expertise is in charge. Trump is a man who knows nothing about macroeconomics or trade t is being allowed to just rule by whim and make it up as he goes. He’s doing things completely contrary to all known principles of economics, with global economy just getting worse and worse every time he says or does anything. Surely even you must realize that policy especially something this important is the result of ideas that have been studied and refined dor years by a wide variety of experts and stakeholders and are only implemented when they have achieved the highest levels of scrutiny and broad acceptance from some segment of society Trump’s uninformed and half-baked tariffs ideas haven’t been put on paper much less studied or refined and what he has uttered about them is absolute gibberish to anyone either even a basic understanding of economics. Even many in his own administration don’t support them. It is absolutely unfathomable that the “leader of the free world” is acting in a manner that would get even a McDonalds manager fired

  25. 1. "The young do know bullshit when they see it." And also - "Young voters say diversity is good" Therefore "Diversity is not bullshit" I'm just laying it out as a syllogism, Philosophy 101 style, for you to take down as you wish. 2. DEI doesn't require "less qualified" people to be hired, though. Here are some HR articles: https://www.hirediverse.ca/blog/what-is-dei "Diversity hiring doesn’t mean choosing candidates based on identity alone—it means ensuring the hiring process is free of biases that exclude qualified individuals. Historically, recruitment processes have favored certain groups due to factors like nepotism, systemic barriers, and unconscious bias." https://peoplethriver.com/what-are-the-principles-of-diversity-equity-and-inclusion/#:~:text=The principles of DEI are,ways%2C from recruitment to profitability. "Eliminating bias and discriminatory practices from the selection process can open up the recruitment process to a wider pool of highly qualified candidates and improve the overall quality of hires. It can also have a positive effect on how potential candidates view the company." If you think these are lies then why eliminate DEI at all, since HR will just lie and hire unqualified people anyway ? Or are we just going to NOT hire minorities in case they're unqualified ? I'm asking honestly here. In my career I have never met a bona fide "DEI hire" to my knowledge

  27. That's utterly stupid, herbie. You can't pull the "Carney is legit" routine here because every Canadian knows that Carney isn't just a BSer, he's a total liar. Carney got caught 100% lying about moving Brookfield to the US. Carney got caught 100% lying about working for Paul Martin to help balance the budget in the 1990s. Carney got caught 100% lying about his role in guiding Canada's economy during the 2008 recession. Carney got caught 100% lying about meeting with the JCCC. Not only did he lie, he slandered the Globe and Mail in his lie. There's a picture of him standing right in the middle of the board of the JCCC. Carney just got a $250 billion dollar loan for Brookfield, which he just moved to the US, from the Communist Bank of China, and both the US and China are in a trade war against Canada. And those are two of the countries that he doesn't have passports for....What's he doing to screw Canada for the other countries where he's still a citizen? Who the f is he actually working for? Because it's sure as hell isn't Canada. Carney's business model is to defraud countries of legitimate taxes, by registering them in the bahamas. How does this not bother leftists who always cry that corporations don't pay enough taxes? Carney's party just got caught trying to pawn Trumpist buttons around at a CPC rally. Carney didn't have the ba11s to remove his MP from the ballot after he got caught urging his constituents to turn a CPC candidate in to the gov't of China to collect a bounty. Then after that guy resigned, Carney put a basic Chinese agent in his place. The guy wears Chinese uniforms with his buddies to sing "My Chinese Heart". "Your kids know bullshit when they see it, so they're voting for Carney" 😂 This much is true: a kid growing up in your house would witness endless examples of BS, but if you actually have kids they obviously didn't learn anything from their vast experience with it.

  30. Nobody believes that. They just caught liberal staffers stalking fake buttons at a rally for a group that basically has no power. They didn't even fire the guys. Nothing could be ruled out. I absolutely have no doubt that if the liberals thought for a moment that it would benefit them and they had the power they would do something to hurt this person's campaign. The liberals have already protected their people who behaved like that.

  31. This Ontario Red Tory is sick of McCarthy era red-baiting, calling people Marxists, when the two parties are ideologically similar... saying the Nazis were socialists etc. etc. Beyond the parallels to the new populism, it's just rude. And please .... please don't tell me that Trudeau calling the convoy leaders racist (in French) is the same thing. It's not. Go look up Pat King's hilarious Ching-Ching Asian impersonation video if you need a refresher. Cheers, Moonbox...

  34. Read the room. Does sharing policies and rhetoric style with Trump, as Canadians unify against who he is, what he's doing and what he stands for, seem like good strategy to you?? In your mind, nearly 2/3 of the electorate "loathe" the conservatives for no other reason than because they are "conservatives"?. It has nothing to do with their policies, their rhetoric, and how much energy they spend promoting the priorities of the dumbest parts of their base? I mean, if you know most of the electorate doesn't like what you're doing, why do you keep running it back down the middle?

  35. So... as with the internet, we shouldn't address that other than to open the gates to charlatans and carnival barkers to step in and roam free ? I don't think you are actually saying this btw. I agree with the significance, but to me the response needs to be an improvement in the connection that the so-called leadership (intellectual, political, cultural) has with people. Right now it's tenuous at best. "People don't trust medicine and they think western medicine is racist too" "Therefore we will let quacks and ethnic medical gurus administer to people's illnesses" No.

  40. Because Rustad merely stole the name Conservative and courted every disgruntled alt-right populist he could and everyone could see that. Even with the surrender monkey actions of BC United they only came close. Because in spite of the online whining and yelling, the NDP hadn't done that bad of a job in most people's eyes. The whole fooferall over carbon tax doesn't play as well in a province where many support it, or at least demand a viable alternative. Rustad like Poilievre had none at all. In a Province affected by droughts, floods and fires consuming whole towns here and nearby denying climate change and proposing to do f*ck all about it just doesn't fly.
