  1. The vast majority of those things weren't actually him saying the same thing as what trump was saying. They were referring to completely different things but you took half a sentence that sounds similar and tried to pass it off as being the same thing. Got bad news for you, I can find clips of democrats saying almost as exact same words. This is no different than the democrat strategy of constantly calling Trump Hitler, or when they tried to pass off shear as a white supremacist or O'Toole as anti-vax and pro-covid, all your side does is lie about the other guy and hope that they can scare people into silence for a short enough time to win an election

  2. The interview gets stale after a while. But the first half is very good. Elon discusses what they've found and how much they can save. The three points that stood out to me is that Elon thinks he can cut $1T in the 2026 budget, about 80% is waste and 20% is fraud and most (not all) fraud goes to left wing NGOs that benefit Democrats.

  3. That's because the true nature of Trump is so overtly right-wing the whole conservative brand is causing people to recoil from it.

  4. It's not like Polievre says all the same things...and has all the same supporters. Maybe you should be brave and accept who you are. https://fb.watch/ypvajI4cxX/?mibextid=rS40aB7S9Ucbxw6v

  7. Not to mention that at the last minute we shit-canned the respected Canadian-designed CMS330 combat management system (which was so successful the British based theirs on an earlier version of it) for the US Aegis system because US interoperability was a key concern. Now there’s fear about USA having the ability to lock us out of our own warships if they wanted to. https://ottawacitizen.com/news/national/defence-watch/u-s-system-canadas-war-ships

  8. You're supposed to deport people to the country they came from, or one sympathetic that will accept them. Not pay another country to jail them for committing no crime at all in that country, F*cking despicable. Typical of a criminal dictator who flaunts every norm of law, convention and common decency. Yet here you are supporting The Pig

  9. C02 has never preceeded warming. It has always been methane. The methane is released from methane hydrate that are released when the Earth's orbit changes and causes the tectonic plates to shift and release magma causing methane hydrate to be released and turned into methane. Methane is the leading greenhouse gas. Further, this happens when the earth's orbit is closer to the sun for longer periods of time. So you have a stronger concentration of energy and a better form of retention. That leads to a much warmer planet. He put a lot of that in the video. But then he lied. He lied by using data relativism. The planet has cooling mechanisms that kick in and cause, what should be a steady period of warming, to become a Rollercoaster climb. He's comparing 100ya to today because 100ya was a low point in the climb. Go back 200 years and the change is about 0.2 deg C.

  10. Pierre Poilievre vows to scrap industrial carbon tax “There will be no taxes on consumers, no taxes on Canadian industries. Instead, provinces will continue to have the freedom to address this issue how they like, but there will be no federal obligation to impose the tax,” Poilievre said at a lectern adorned with a large “axe the tax” sign. I guess just axing one tax didn't cut it. And effectively speaking Poilievre, like Trump, is backing the federal government even farther away from it's obligations to do it's part to protect the environment. Will this be a red line for Carney or will he follow suit? This still has the potential to become, as it should, an AGW is bullshit campaign if he doesn't. If he does scrap the industrial tax however it will surely bolster the Liberals are bullshit campaign. Hopefully this will turn into an opportunity for other parties who support AGW action to grab enough votes to force a minority government to keep the federal government's feet to the fire.

  11. A disaster that's been created all over the planet by governments everywhere. What is it about this you don't get? Perhaps if you could provide examples where this isn't the case - where a typical family home can still be bought and paid for by a single earner who's putting their kids thru college and a little nest egg aside for him and the missus when they retire. In any case, it's a disaster largely caused by greed and scarcity - the foundations of unsustainability. Welcome to reality. Get used to it.

  12. This is perfect for all the Liberals who spent 10 years destroying and pooping all over Canada, who now are running around yelling "Elbows Up" like they suddenly now love Canada again. It's such a joke.

  14. Seems like a smart ad, to me. Not so long ago, Canadian conservatives were happy he was going to be like Trump. Now it is coming back to bite him in the buttocks and people like you are trying to say you don’t like Trump now. Well, lie with dogs and you’re bound to get flees.

  15. Canadians who have admired Trump are more likely to support PP or PPC, I would say. You can still see that affinity in what they write online.

  16. Don't forget Pamela Wallin. "Senator Pamela Wallin says she has sent personal cheques totalling $100,600.98 plus interest to the federal government to repay expense claims as ordered by a Senate committee last month." She even stole a chocolate bar on Corner Gas! (Episode: Hook, Line and Sinker)

  17. Looking at the lying crowd's achievements so far: visible, real and factual one can see the same persistent pattern: a failure. From mindless, silly and dumb to catastrophic, the entire range. This is of course, no coincidence. Brains without the reason and might with no heart can produce only these bizarre visions, nightmares. Permanent struggle, hate and enemies everywhere but no sane conclusion to it. The path of hatred and insanity has no good conclusions. So many generations have learned it the hard way.

  20. Very few who've been elected have. I think what's likelier is that the mounting unavoidable effects of AGW will compel the use of force to take it seriously. Of course corruption will only make things worse, especially for the most vulnerable. Being woke is the only thing that will get us through it. Being indifferent, hard-assed and angry will just get a bunch of people killed.

  21. And you don't. What a hypocrite. Hey, you guys set the stage. You insisted that gov't overreach and suspending people's rights was perfectly ok as long as you don't like the other guys. well.... welcome to your world.

  22. As seen here, the true aim of the lying crowd is nothing less than undermining then uprooting the most basic foundations of human societies: honesty; respect; integrity. If and once they are gone, what's left? One has to ask this question regularly - or face that version of future they want and working toward.

  23. I can’t see the Cons forming government with a minority. The Libs/NDP, assuming they have the seats, could simply form a coalition government to prevent that. Are the Cons going to govern with the Bloc? Very unlikely as they’d lose all credibility by governing with separatists. I think the Cons need to win a majority, or they will get nothing.

  24. $25 more? Thats a pretty minor difference in the price of a ticket. A 777 must carry 300+ passengers? That’s $3 per ticket. That’s nothing. We’re a big empty country. It will cost more to fly here.

  28. At least he answers whereas PP says a lot but nothing LOL Correct, Carney has no political experience so he is not as adept at poitispeak ....talking a lot but saying nothing. I will grant, he does not have the historical background like PP who has done nothing but be a teat sucking politician his entire life. Even if PP wins (as a minority government) he will not be able to do much without parliament behind him. He will be a lame duck PM like Justin LOL

  31. I think we can all agree that I'm the last person who would ever heap false praise on the LPOC, but they knocked this one out of the park. When I first saw this woman my initial impression was that she was going to be weak and dull, (hell, look at that picture and tell me she doesn't look like a substitute teacher who's about to get steamrolled by a coupe of grade 2 clowns) but I couldn't have been more wrong: I thought she was very classy, friendly (as an ambassador should be), looked sharp, answered all the questions directly, and gave smart answers which pointed this snotty, childish, boorish fiasco in a positive direction. Maybe they should kick Carney to the curb and have this one talk to Trump. Just get her some fake boobs and we could probably get an upgrade on current trade deal 😂

  32. Obvious: there can be no excuses for gross, uncivilized behavior in the host's home. If we begin to forget and discount basic, most obvious norms of reason and civility, what would remain? No need to guess, these days.

  33. You fckin' right you need a citation...or 50. Your premise concludes that our primary source of power and energy is absolutely destroying life on Earth. A very scary idea. Scary enough to make many people do just about anything to avoid. However, many others hear such dire predictions and think, 'Is that right? Let's see.' They do their own research and find out that the climate change scare is way overblown and the methods employed to mitigate are destroying our society from the bottom. The poor cannot afford the cost. Our entire economy has been artificially inflated to dizzying heights. And the climate religious come out in force, whenever their religion is questioned. Disadents must be crushed. Except...you all forget that those who think for themselves, are often stronger than those who blindly follow. Thus...you will eventually... Fail.

  36. Trump hasn't got a chance in hell of voiding the pardons. But they give him something outrageous to say. That's what he is about, saying outrageous things to distract from the most pressing concerns about him. He is throwing this out there as a distraction from his failed economic policy. Get everyone talking about this so they forget what an abysmal failure he has been on what he promised the American people.

  37. Jeebus, dude, just even a basic understanding of the situation would go miles. They are NOT ignoring laws they don't like. They are "ignoring" laws they have no obligation or responsibility to enforce. It's not they job. And voluntarily enforcing those laws makes doing their actual jobs much harder.

  40. 'Doing-nothing-is-not-trying' So your logic is, if one knows exactly where tren de aragua members are, but you say nothing to ICE agents...that doesn't meet the threshold of trying to keep them in the US? Doesn't qualify as aiding and abetting criminals?

  42. This whole line about Trump ‘only joking’ about Canada really doesn’t wash when we’re dealing with a guy who sounds like Tony Soprano half the time. If a dangerous criminal lived next door to you and started joking about wanting to take your house off you, would you really take it as just a bit of eccentric humour?

  43. 1. Our head of state has been silenced on this vital matter by a foreign head of government, a disgraceful situation that I predicted would occur one day - didn’t expect it so soon. 2. President Trump has repeatedly threatened our sovereignty. No reasonable person can deny that any more or pass it off as a joke.
