  3. The golden statue pic was a joke. He was doing the Wayne's World "we're not worthy" for a meme. The second pic was a guy in India that was happy Trump called out India for hiding the slums from the public eye.

  4. If I still had a hobby farm I'd think of one, but I already have a gas pig Wrangler I want to replace. Should've kept the Saturn and gave my kid the Jeep. But I love her.... That's what I told a waiter once when he asked if I'd like a doggie bag for the leftovers. No thanks, I love my dog.... their TripAdvisor review was: I ate there. Once.

  6. Hmm who is falsely claiming fentanyl is a pouring over the border from Canada? Who is falsely claiming US banks are banned from Canada? 2020 election lies? Obama’s Kenyan birth lie? Saddam’s WMD lie? There are literally tens of thousands of false claims from Republicans like this. Trump and his minions and mouthpieces are by far the most prolific liars in western politics since 1945 Case in point

  8. Everyone is at least a little partisan. Many are very partisan. Some are hyper-partisan, and are almost always on-brand with whatever slurp they consoom. Finally, there are the truly deluded - the witless cultists that will believe and justify almost literally anything coming from their chieftain. I suspect robo is talking about the last, and there are many of them even in Canada. For what it's worth, I don't think that describes you.

  9. Just amazing that the only thing they cheered for was spending money on Ukraine. Not for a little boy fighting cancer, honored as an honorary Secret Service Agent. Nope... Sat in silence for that.

  11. Or Jocylen. The best part of that speech was Trump calling it. Right at the beginning he said they wouldn't clap for anything. He got that right. They couldn't clap for a kid with cancer, mom's that lost their children, war negotiations moving forward, waste and fraud being eliminated from the government or anything he said at all. Then their rebuttal called for politicians being held accountable. I agree. We shouldn't allow those that support illegals killing and raping girls, perpetuate war, support government waste and fraud, support dangerous chemicals in our food and so much more. Vote against every single Democrat.

  14. Nope it is happening, no conspiracy, Liberal voters are coming back to Carney because lets face it Justin was a nightmare... Carneys the new face of the liberals, and most new faces get a bump in the polls, and what was mentioned earlier Trump is actions are helping the liberals right now...but wait once Carney gets known to everyone the truth will come out, he already has the lying part down pat....something liberals like and vote for...we will see once an election is called...

  16. Trump's big miscalulation is thinking that he can somehow separate production from consumer purchasing. Canadians are currently buying just as many cars from the US as we sell to the US. If the Canadian manufacturing plant that sells those cars packs up and moves south, Canadians won't simply stop buying that particular model, they will stop buying cars made by that company. In fact, if the tariffs result in plant closures and job losses, there will simply be a blanket boycott of American products. Of course our exports to the U.S. would suffer too, but eventually we would find other markets, including for the oil that Americans buy from us at a discount. We may end up with a higher cost of living, but we will be far less dependent on the U.S. market, and we will replace at least some of the U.S. production that sells into Canada with Canadian production for our own market and export markets. I can see this as an opportunity for much greater trade with Central and South America. All the citrus we used to buy from Florida would come from farther south. We could export into growing economies like Brazil and Chile. We could sell far more of our natural gas and oil to Europe and Asia. This will effectively raise energy prices in the U.S. and lower them in Canada, as we refine and distribute cheaper domestic supply through new refineries and pipelines to Eastern Canada. I also think we should end all military procurements from the U.S. Dump the F-35's and look at European jets, subs, etc. Produce as much as we can domestically. Canadians will pay the higher prices for everything if it means defending our sovereignty and national pride. Trudeau's assessment of Trump's tariffs are quite accurate. They're largely coercive, inflationary, and damaging to the U.S.'s international image. The U.S. is no longer seen as a trusted partner, because they will pull up stakes for purely selfish reasons that are actually counter-productive to U.S. interests long term. I think at this point we let the Yanks play this out. Tourism to the U.S. will tank. U.S. exports will tank. Our exports to the U.S. will likely tank too, but unlike the U.S., we have the potential of many tariff-free partners for trade, whereas the U.S. has multiple countries, including allies, ready to boycott U.S. goods and seek other markets. Canada should embrace the challenge. We're a much bigger country than just a half century ago. We have a strong domestic market. Originally I had thought we could enter into an economic union with the U.S. with free movement of goods, services, and people between the two countries. I think there may be too much distrust towards Trump for that kind of productive arrangement sadly. Canada is going to go through an austere period of rebuilding, as it did in the 90's, but when we come out the other side, and we will, the country will be stronger, more independent, and far less gullible towards foreign influence.

  17. I'm using lee enough in the long run this will probably be a very good thing for Canada. It will certainly be a time of difficulty and in the short and medium term it's going to hurt not just because of the tariffs but because of what we will have to do to fight the tariffs. More debt and a recession most likely. But it could very well lead to a revitalization of Canada in the medium to long term. The erasure of many trade barriers between provinces for example, rebuilding of our own military and moving away from American military equipment, increased trade with other countries, building up of canadian businesses and industry, etc. A painful way to learn a lesson but not a bad lesson to learn. In the meantime i don't think even conservatives in the south are going to think this is a very good idea for long. There's nothing "conservative' about tarrifs, generally speaking conservatives view them as another 'tax" like carbon tax etc. They hurt the free market. Trump is trump. You can't really think of him as a 'representative of conservatives', he has some conservative policies and others that are kind of at odds with conservatives.

  19. Oh i suspect it is in actuality. We'll see. We know. More than climate change which you pretend to care about but don't. More than accountability or honesty in government which you also pretend to care about but don't. More than the future of Canada and more than the success the average Canadian person And what does that say about you?

  20. More and more of this is coming out. And as it gets distributed people will be less and less interested in him. And I have a suspicion they're going to delay the election. And I think people will have a small amount of sympathy for that for a very short time if Trudeau stays in power to sort of handle the crisis but I think very quickly people will become very annoyed at that

  21. #1 seller is the Toyota RAV4. Made in Canada. Buick & Tesla, China. The tariff on autos is batshit insane, parts come from and are assembled all over. Worked building Kenworths before Free Trade, we'd sit the wheels unattached south, other builders did the same to ship north to circumvent tariffs. Stupid nonsense like that went on all the time. Now with parts crossing many borders many times, the sole effect will be to drive prices up for customers. Which will sell fewer cars, cost jobs reduce the incentive to invest in new factories. Even stupider than the Bronze Bozo kissing off EVs completely and costing US automakers to waste their billions invested.

  22. I think the major issue with the left is they seem to view anything which society considers to be the norm as some oppressive social construct to be torn down. And more recently, it's not just things they view as social constructs which are to blame. Reality itself is oppressive. The body you are born in is oppressive. The fact that men and women are fundamentally different is oppressive. They also believe that because they call themselves progressive that their ideas are always representative of progress. Another danger I see which affects both sides of the spectrum is that intense polarization in the past 15 years or so has almost made politics like sports. Because we despise the other side so much, there is a tendency to cheer-lead our sides on. There is not much self-criticism. We have a political climate where it's become difficult to do so. To admit error nowadays is like apologizing to someone who wants to sue you. You are damned if you do and damned if you don't really. I suppose it's always been like this, but I think it's worse now. It sets people up on both sides to be duped by their leaders.

  25. What were the lies? Was it a lie that Lakin Riley was murdered by illegal immigrants that folks like you support harboring in the country even after they are arrested for other crimes? Was it a lie that a little kid had cancer and he was honored as an honorary Secret Service agent and the Democrats couldn't even stand or cheer for that little kid? Give us the specific example of this, or you are the liar: "cut pediatric cancer funding"

  27. It's sad that this tired old saying needs to be trotted out again for the ignorant, but guns don't kill people. People kill people. The vast majority of those deaths you mentioned our crime related. Gang members killing other gang members, that sort of thing. And here's the problem, when somebody decides that they want to kill someone else and that that's okay the specific tool doesn't really matter. If the presence of guns led to a higher homicide rate then that would be consistent across countries. You would tend to see that countries that allowed more guns Suffered more homicides. And that turns out not to be true. In fact in a research paper done by professor Gary Mauser in Canada it was shown that there is no correlation at all between the number of or availability of guns and the homicide rate. In short, americans are deciding to kill each other for other reasons and guns happen to be one of the tools that they use And you know you're full of nonsense because you have to use fake statistics. You include gun deaths which includes accidental and suicide. Yet far more people will die from car accidents and yet you think nothing of it. Rope is an extremely common suicide tool but I don't hear you complaining about rope deaths. canada has a huge number of guns, But we don't have anywhere near the number of gun deaths. Switzerland makes it mandatory to have an ACTUAL assault rifle and they have very few gun homicides, So it ain't the guns. And the right to self-defense is absolutely a right that all people should have

  30. Last night at the joint congressional address, the Democrats unmasked themselves. The showed America and the world, how deeply disturbed they really are. As time goes by, the Democrats will try to repair the damage they've caused themselves. They'll lie and deny about everything. But the video of last night's fiasco will always remind the public of what sort of people the Democrats really are.

  35. If there was ever a time for standing back and letting Trump shoot himself in the head this is it. That said, stock markets didn't tank until now because people simply thought tariffs and making everything more expensive for Americans was so stupid it was just Trump being Trump doing his art-of-the-deal shtick. So assuming he's a stable albeit the most Machiavellian genius since Machiavelli, one possible motive for causing pain to Americans is to precipitate a domestic economic crisis that he'll blame Canada for and use it as a pretext for annexing us. The other thing that comes to mind is that Trump is aware of the fact he'll never be the richest man in Earth so instead he's aiming to be the most powerful.

  40. You're just proving what I said: "Russia didn't have the balls to openly invade Ukraine with Trump there, they felt the need to be sneaky about it, and they had to do the absolute minimum." Thanks for comin' out out, stupid. You just seem addicted to proving how stupid you are. You're now admitting that 13,000 people died there, so there was war going on in Ukraine, with minimal input from Russia, before Russia officially joined. And by acknowledging that the deaths were from both sides you're saying that ethnic Russians in eastern Ukraine were dying - A LOT OF THEM. That's why Russia says that they entered the war in the first place. 1. So a cease-fire only benefits Hamas. It doesn't benefit Israel at all. Right now Israel is in the catbird's seat, with all of Hamas's booby traps and soldiers out of the way, and they're clearing up the extensive tunnel network. It's work that needs to be done. There's nothing that needs to be done in Ukraine - from Ukraine's "we need to get all our stuff back!" POV - that can be done without 50,000 more deaths. The land was lost, deal with it. The Ukraine in NATO thing has backfired for the meantime. 2. Putin has never shown anything of the sort. Putin is at war far less often than the US is, and that's in the continents that Russia actually lives on. Unlike you, I knew this war was gonna start before Biden even got elected. You're clearly not in a position to tell me why wars start or who's to blame for them. Unlike you I've consistently shown a willingness to end all of these wars, not a 100% involvement in keeping the killing going. You also thought that it was fine to just push and push and push Russia to the breaking point in Ukraine. You're clearly the warmonger here. That's what happens when wars are fought, dummy. Land is lost and won. Why did you keep on supporting the war if you didn't know what happens when wars end? If those things are so far beyond your ken then maybe opt out of the conversation, or be less supportive of them. NATO is forcing Russia into that alliance. In case you missed it, this Ukrainian war pushed all of those guys closer together. In fact, as soon as Biden got elected, countries all over the world started ditching the US currency as the petro-dollar. That's basically a thing of the past now. You don't even know propaganda when it's coming out of your own mouth and ass, dummy. All you said for 4 years was "WUSSHIN COWUSHIN! WUSSHIN COWUSHIN! WUSSHIN COWUSHIN!", and how much evidence of Trump colluding with Russia was ever found? 😂 ZERO, dumbass. Blah, blah, blah. Another baseless accusation from collusion-boy, who can't find a single actual point to even try to refute. Just listen to yourself: "Everything Biden says is 100% true and everything that Putin says is 100% propaganda! I know it for a fact!!!!" Guess what you f'ing dummy. Everyone lies during war. Almost everything is propaganda. That's normal. We have propaganda, they have propaganda. You have to start with what you actually know, and work it all back from there. WE MADE A DEAL. WE DIDN'T HONOUR OUR DEAL, ON THEIR CONTINENT. PERIOD. WE TRIED TO FORCE NATO INTO UKRAINE AND GEORGIA, PERIOD. IF YOU THINK THAT THE US DIDN'T BACK EUROMAIDAN THEN YOU'RE A COMPLETE ID10T. IF YOU DON'T THINK THAT UKRAINE HAS NAZIS AND WAR CRIMINALS IN THEIR ARMY YOU'RE A COMPLETE ID10T. IF YOU DON'T THINK TAHT UKRAINIAN SHELLS HIT ETHNIC RUSSIAN HOMES IN THE DONBAS THEN YOU'RE AN ID10T. There's just no talking with you Beave, because you're a little cultist child who can do nothing but spew CNN propaganda, even when it's blatant BS. There's no middle ground with you, it's all "CNN SAID!!!!" and everything else, which you will refuse like a drink of boiling lava. You're so classy, Beave. If your 'woman' doesn't do lap-dances in a club, I missed my guess.
