  1. Donnie calls out the Bank of America CEO in front of a large audience for his targeting and refusal to grant loans to conservatives.

  2. lol you mean the Operation Paperclip crew were ackshually Nazis? Wow I didn't know that you're telling me now for the first time. J/K, everyone knows that. I've heard of the "no true Scotsman" fallacy but this is the first time I've heard of the "no true Nazi" version. He was insane though. Or very, very stupid. Probably both. And out of his head on drugs, can't forget the drugs. Not every bad guy in history was a deranged psychopath, but Hitler certainly fit the bill. I don't think anyone should feel bad about thinking the worst of nazis, actually.

  4. LOL this is complete horseshit of course. The hold up is Danielle Smith's merry band of dipshits who have decreed only single family housing will be allowed, which means far fewer units than otherwise possible, which further exacerbates the existing housing shortage in Jasper and increases housing costs across the board. The municipality wants multifamily housing, which the UCP opposes for purely idealogical reasons. "People want to to come and see the pristine wilderness around Jasper so we need to destroy more of that wilderness to accommodate them!" You people just aren't happy unless you're chopping down trees or poisoning rivers, aren't you?

  9. I think the question is not “Did Musk make the Nazi salute?” but instead “Does Musk think he can get away with making the Nazi salute?” The answer would be yes. The Nazi ideology is just that – an ideology (although a vile and odious one) – and Trump and Musk are not persons who adhere to an ideology. They have both demonstrated their pragmatic nature – willing to sway in the political winds. If Musk made a Nazi salute, it would not be for ideological reasons, but to shout, “nothing can constrain me.” Heck, the EU tried to impose its own laws on Musk and Vance stepped in and ordered the EU to leave Musk alone or “we’re going to pull out of NATO.” These are men who are extremely puffed up with their own power. Here we have the most powerful man in the world and the richest man in the world (although in reality Putin is probably richer) – who are driven by one instinct – to gain more power for themselves. And flaunt it. If Musk made the Nazi salute, it would be to say, “I can do anything. Look what I can get away with.” Not because he adhered to the Nazi ideology (his support for the far-right AfD notwithstanding), although he understood that the salute would appeal to some diehard Trump supporters. And now they have a Secretary of Defense who is willing to get his hands dirty. And the Proud Boys and the Oath Keepers who have already demonstrated that they are willing to resort to violence to show their loyalty to the Dear Leader. And a tech industry willing to kiss Trump’s ring. All without a shred of ethics amongst them. These are troubling times. The issue is not a gesture Musk made, but the concentration of power in the hands of those who only have their own interests at heart.

  13. The Gaza war in making huge strides now, which weren't in any danger of materializing any time soon while Biden was in power. Just 5 days before "all hell was scheduled to break loose" if the hostages weren't released, Hamas made a deal to release the hostages. I don't think that war will end as long as there are still tunnels under Israel, where Hamas can sneak a nuke, so I think that progress there is doomed to fail for some time to come, but de-escalation is at least palpable, instead of the constant escalation under Biden. **Remember that just at the time of the election Iran started dropping ballistic missiles on Israel, and Israel was attacking Iran directly.** Talk of peace on Jan 20th in Ukraine is still the main subject of discussion there, and escalations have turned into talks of POW swaps.

  18. Bingo. Trump isn't sending American troops to die in a war that he said never should have started. Leftards and Nazis fail to understand that Trump values the lives of Americans, the unborn, Israeli and US hostages, US soldiers, Syrians, etc. It's a common theme in everything he says on the campaign trail and everything that he does as president, and it's a 180° shift in policy from the outgoing administration.

  22. Wait you think building dense housing on serviced land is more expensive on a per unit basis than building SFHs on unserviced land? LMAO. Well that's just retarded. Weird how you completely ignore the part where the local community and feds are on the same page and it's the UCP who are being shitheels in order to get their way, but you've never let facts or nuance get in the way of a dumb rant before, so why start now, There's plenty of space already, didn't you read your horse? Yeah the UCP would love to turn Jasper into Banff 2.0. Everything is for sale with these slimeballs.

  23. 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Sure, the others were all spectators. They had chased the legislators that far and smashed they window, but the were all there just to watch one woman go through. Try, try try to think about this even a little. She was the FIRST one through. The cop fired only after extensive retreat and multiple warnings. He put down the first person to come through, exactly as he should have, and the rest of the mob was cowed.

  25. Ah, but will we? Taxes are paid by the end user. But uneven taxes are bad for those that are taxed. If you tax foreign imports, the imports either become more costly and less competitive of they become less profitable. Either way, the high taxes benefit the domestic business.

  28. Yes, nonsense and it is all yours. There are dozens of excavators currently in Jasper clearing the burnt out properties. Once the land is cleared it should be ready to get the infrastructure back in place. The park , which is supposed to be a National park is already compromised by endless commercial traffic and pipelines. That is not enough for you and you want more destruction. As I told you before, fly south and join Trump and the rest.

  29. And thank him? Anyway storm ahead, we know you lefties can't shoot anyway We have one in ottawa right now, and that would make YOU the facist considering you support him. They absolutely will be connected if you turn them off until they agree to a pipeline That's not entirely without precedent. The federal government is cut off transfer payments to the provinces until they agreed to certain things in the past. Bottom line, you don't do what's best for Canada we don't pay you Canada's money. 31. The Athabasca Oil Sands are hardly unique. There are many other "uncoventional reserves" with similar density and sulphur levels all over the planet. ALL of these sell for a considerable discount from reference crudes. There is no one price for "oil", just an industry agreed reference for each production region. What is different very about the Athabasca deposit (it stretches darn near to MB) is that if you call it "oil" it is the largest contiguous reservoir in the world - possibly greater than the rest of the world's petroleum hydrocarbon reserves combined. Somewhat unique is that significant proportion of the deposits are close enough to the surface around the Ft. McMurray - Fort McKay region to be mined in open pits. What is missing so far for the MUCH larger deeper portion is a practical and sustainable way to get it out of the groiund. In the early days there was even thoughts of using a small thermonuclear device to make a glass lined (from melted sand) hot pocket that could be pumped. That one didn't go ahead...obviously. Where "we" as a country, province and industry have genuinely screwed up is allowing heavy oil to be shipped by rail (as "ralibit" and pipeline (as "dillbit"), As I believe I mentioned earlier, we should allow export only of synthetic crude ("syncrde) that can not only go into a pipeline but can be fed to pretty much any "light oil" refinery. THEN we get maximum value from the resource due to value added.

  32. Is there some specified number of times you would have to be corrected that Biden did not pardon Peltier before you will stop claiming it? 6? 20? I just want to set some expectation for what I'm involved in. And sorry, but it's not an insurrection only if it's successful. When you plainly state your intent to overthrow the government then smash your way into the capitol (injuring 140 cops in the process) hunting down legislators in an effort to overturn the election, it's an insurrection. They literally and explicitly set out to overthrow our government. It's not my fault that the MAGA turds aren't very bright, and their ineptitude doesn't change the definition of the word.

  33. There's lots of land in the townsite already. Also Jasper isn't just any ordinary town, it's a national park which means it belongs to all of us. No they don't, that's not a right that exists. Oh well, too bad, don't live in Jasper then, there's plenty of SFHs in Sherwood Park. The town itself doesn't want those restrictions, why do you big government conservatives think you can rule from on high? Nope, just correcting your bullshit.

  34. An insurrection is simply a a violent uprising against an authority or government. That's it, it doesn't matter if it's a few jumped up used car dealers from Michigan or the military. It's about intent not means. And your guy pardoned several people who tried to kill cops, but you're ok with that because you're not a serious person.
    1 point
  35. A. Biden didn't pardon Peltier, and it's a controversial case. B. Trump pardoned massive group of insurrectionists who also attacked police. 140 injuries and several deaths attributed to it.

  36. It's hilarious to watch your carefully cultivated phony conspiracy narrative about the FBI intersect with reality and crumble. The FBI is as it ever was--led throughout the Biden administration by a Trump appointee. There's no "loyalty" one way or another. They didn't pick on Trump, they simply investigated crimes. Is not their fault that Trumpco is criminal.

  37. You jackholes are hilarious. Amon Bundy is a hero. Peltier is a villain. Biden is amoral for commuting a controversial sentence after 50 years, but Trump is awesome for pardoning the 1500 of the J6 mob who also attacked cops--for far less righteous reasons. At this point you wouldn't have any thoughts at all if somebody didn't tell you what to believe from one event to the next.

  39. The rescinded 78 executive orders of Joe Biden: By the authority vested in me as President by the Constitution and the laws of the United States of America, it is hereby ordered as follows: Section 1. Purpose and Policy. The previous administration has embedded deeply unpopular, inflationary, illegal, and radical practices within every agency and office of the Federal Government. The injection of “diversity, equity, and inclusion” (DEI) into our institutions has corrupted them by replacing hard work, merit, and equality with a divisive and dangerous preferential hierarchy. Orders to open the borders have endangered the American people and dissolved Federal, State, and local resources that should be used to benefit the American people. Climate extremism has exploded inflation and overburdened businesses with regulation. To commence the policies that will make our Nation united, fair, safe, and prosperous again, it is the policy of the United States to restore common sense to the Federal Government and unleash the potential of the American citizen. The revocations within this order will be the first of many steps the United States Federal Government will take to repair our institutions and our economy. Sec. 2. Revocation of Orders and Actions. The following executive actions are hereby revoked: https://www.whitehouse.gov/presidential-actions/2025/01/initial-rescissions-of-harmful-executive-orders-and-actions/

  40. Trump signed a number of other executive actions at the Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C., where he addressed supporters in the late afternoon. The actions he signed included: The rescission of 78 Biden-era executive orders, actions and memoranda. A regulatory freeze preventing bureaucrats from issuing any more regulations until "we have full control" of the government. A freeze on all federal hiring except in the military and a number of other excluded categories. A requirement that federal workers return to full-time, in-person work. Directing agencies to address Americans' cost-of-living "crisis." Withdrawing from the Paris Agreement and informing the United Nations of the U.S.'s withdrawal from the landmark climate treaty. A directive to the federal government "ordering the restoration of freedom of speech and preventing government censorship of free speech going forward." A directive to the federal government "ending the weaponization of government against the political adversaries of the previous administration, as we've seen." Trump then headed to the White House, where one of the first things he did was pardon more than 1,500 people convicted in connection to the deadly January 6, 2021 Capitol riot. Many of Trump's campaign promises may be able to be implemented by executive order, but others will require support from Congress. https://www.newsweek.com/donald-trump-executive-orders-list-president-signed-2016864

We did not build sh!t, Justin thought it would be a good idea to buy it, That's all on the liberals....Had they been listening to Alberta we would have a cross Canada pipeline to the Maritimes, so we could take advantage of cheap oil instead of buying Saudi oil at inflated prices.... tons of other pipelines could have been built, along with bitumen processing plants, even regulaR refiners so we did not have to rely on the states to process our oil then sell it back to us at inflated prices....

  44. First off you are the stupid one for making personal attacks. If you can't debate a topic in a mature manner then get lost. Zelensky was hoping for peace except that when Putin saw a weak democrat president in the White House he took advantage of the situation and listen to his generals who informed him they can capture the entire Ukraine in a few days and invaded the country. Zelensky had no choice but to defend Ukraine. What do you do if someone is attacking you with a knife. You smile and say lets talk peace!!!!!!!, Stupid.

  46. What is the reality? That Zelensky is worse than Hitler!!! He is an elected president of Ukraine whose country has been invaded by f*cking Russian invaders and his people are being massacred by Russian drones and missiles (some provided to Russia by another murderous regime of f*cking Islamic Republic) and he is trying to preserve Ukraine independence. This guy is a Russian agent always defending f*cking Putin and Russia's imperialistic role in the world. If anyone is worst than Hilter it is the Islamic regime and Putin.
