Peterson used to be a really big deal. We didn't have anyone famous flying the conservative flag a few years ago because cancel culture had everyone running scared. Peterson came out and represented conservative values eloquently and unflinchingly, and put us back on the map, but now it seems like conservative and relatively conservative podcasts are dominating cyberspace. Funny thing: it turns out that we're the exact opposite of leftists in terms of how we like to receive info: we like longer, more in-depth interviews and discussions, they just want headlines and soundbites without substance. Leftists are happy to let their leaders just bloviate in front of a teleprompter, conservatives want leaders who will answer questions.4 points

Yeah! We don't want highly successful, internationally famous authors and intellectuals in this country! We have Trudeau! What more could we ask for!? Taxes are a helluva lot lower in Florida and the weather is a lot better. Why wouldn't he want to move there?3 points

Well like it or not Peterson is worth a lot of money these days and generates a lot of revenue. He pays a hell of a lot of tax money. That tax money will now go to the states. Some people may not care but the fact is he's not alone. For the first time in our history for the last year or two a lot of people who are wealthy and a lot of businesses that create jobs and wealth are moving away. And we lose that tax revenue It's easy for forget but the top 20% of earners in Canada pay the vast majority of the taxes, close to 70 percent. As they leave more and more of that tax burden is shifted downstream. And there's less and less to pay for the services that the poor need The fact is we do need a lot more Jordan Peterson's in Canada. That is unless you're prepared to give up a lot more of your income in taxes3 points

Epps did everything that he could to convince rioters to enter the capitol. If you wanted to teach a lesson on what it takes to commit sedition, or to be an agent provocateur, it would describe all of the things that Epps did in perfect detail. Was he dumb enough to enter the capitol after blatantly committing sedition for 24 hrs before the riot? I doubt it. The guy seemed to know exactly what was going to happen to people who entered the building. It was imperative to Epps that people entered the building, but there were no pictures of him after he whispered to that guy within 5 feet of the first barrier. If the FBI charged Epps with sedition, they could have showed the judge a 2-minute video and dropped the mic.2 points

You are right. Democrats are attacking women across the country, trying to force them to compete with men, share their personal spaces with men... The unborn child is not their body. It is a separate, distinct human life with its own DNA.1 point

Canada is a post national state and according to Trudeau and Liberals Canada must send billions of dollars to other countries around the world instead of fixing the problems here such as the porous border, illegal migrants, and a neglected military and health care system.1 point

You're trying to discuss something with someone who doesn't see discussion as an activity different from rock/paper/scissors. To many here, discussion is a zero sum game and if you question assumptions, or are unclear on their points, they will declare that you are 'playing games' and abandon the discussion ... adding " and you know this " to their points. So they simultaneously try to discuss with you and accuse you of being an abject liar. It makes no sense. I started using the IGNORE feature to said people en masse. I do peek at their responses, guiltily, occasionally but it's a pretty effective way for me to focus my forum time on people who actually want to talk.1 point

Two dozen FBI assets running around wreaking havoc, exactly like agent provocateurs would do... Ray Epps blatantly committing sedition and not being charged... Pelosi et al being made aware that there would be a protest there, but opting to leave the entrances to the capitol virtually unguarded and then putting 20,000 troops & barbed wire there for weeks after the risk of rioting was completely over... There's far more substance to this than there ever was to Russian collusion.1 point

Of course there is. If you're hunting wolves a second fast follow-up shot is ideal. Or foxes, or gophers, or a bunch of other animals. Semi autos are very popular for duck and goose hunting, and have been for well over 100 years now. I own one of the first successful models of hunting semi auto shotguns and it was made in the 50's, my dad used it to bag game for the family and passed it on to me. There are many many semi-automatic hunting rifles and hunting shotguns. Like a LOT of them. And before that levers and pumps were popular to get that fast follow up shot when you need it. You know absolutely nothing about what you're talking about and yet you're speaking as if you're some sort of authority. You don't own guns, you don't hunt, you're a drunk loser living in your mother's basement and you're pretending like you know anything about this. Maybe you should be asking questions and learning from people who are experts and then form your opinions after that. But of course that doesn't suit your echo chamber Semi-automatic rifles have been used in hunting since the first semi-automatic rifles were invented. They are perfectly legitimate hunting tools. 223, which can be shot out of any gun chambered for 5.56 NATO, is a popular and effective hunting cartridge for foxes, wolves, sitka deer, rabbits, gophers, and other animals. It is quite common in America to hunt hogs with an AR-15 chambered in 300 Blackout. Sorry to burst your bubble1 point

1. It just says it in the first line, right after "Ray Epps" in bold. I'm sure the FBI scrubbed the guy out of FBI existence right after Jan 6, so we have to trust Conservapedia's resaerch. I'm down with that because everyone that isn't a patriot hates Trump, so we're not getting shit from that side. 2. It's a blurry image, but it's enough. It fits the narrative of Biden weaponizing the FBI against Trump. See, it's not just the source, User, it's also seeing the totality of actions made by TDS sufferers. When Trump Derangement sets in, there is no END to what the lunatics will do. It's another reason why Trump won, and Harris lost.1 point

In the society and political system that makes universal, shared prosperity its key objective - why that superficial growth, really if it cannot produce anything close? there would be no way to ignore or bypass the interests and priorities of citizens. The contract is two-way: citizens are responsible and involved to make competent, transparent and responsible governments. And governments are attuned and attentive to the problems and priorities of citizens. Two-way connection and feedback. Break one line and we are back to the old problems.1 point

I have had a chance to scan this article. Yeah, it's uninformed. From the article: See, when they couch the “debate” in these terms, it shows a marked lack of understanding of what it means to be transgender as well as the false presumption that the government will now control what people think and say. They even refer to the "the sexual left." Talk about creating a "us vs. them" scenario!1 point

It seems you are purposefully being obtuse. Okay, let's start by understanding what your identity is. It's who you are. It's the sum total of all your thoughts and feelings and motivations and perceptions and your take on the world. It's your self-awareness and your decision-making processes and your understanding of yourself. All of that is in your brain. To all cisgender males: can you imagine if you had all the same thought processes, perceptions, feelings, motivations, self-awareness, etc. you have now, but you had breasts and a vagina? How would that mess you up? To all cisgender females: can you imagine if you had all the same thought processes, perceptions, feelings, motivations, self-awareness, etc. you have now, but you had a penis? How would that mess you up?1 point

Is "what you are" - who you are - your identity - stored in your body or your brain? I'm going to quote myself here in case you missed my previous post:1 point

To say that there are only two possibilities - biological women and biological men - is inaccurate, and doesn’t take into account the complexity of our development. Both our bodies and our brains are dimorphic (differentiate to male or female). But the developmental processes that differentiate a body and differentiate a brain are two different processes. In the first trimester of pregnancy, the body sexually differentiates under the influence of genes – and either testes or ovaries develop. During the last trimester of pregnancy, the brain sexually differentiates under the influence of genes and hormones – and either a male or female brain develops. Usually, these two processes are coincident – (male body + male brain or female body + female brain) and a cisgender person is born. But sometimes, the brain develops the opposite gender from the body – (male body + female brain or female body + male brain) and a transgender person is born. I read about this in the book The Biological Basis of Gender Incongruence (which you can read online for free) (Since I am a new member, I hesitate to post links as it might risk my status)1 point
