It was a strategy his campaign used. But I agree that Trump is a very poor leader with no control over anything. He was in power and kicked out of office by a fake election he saw coming months beforehand. No president was ever so weak! 😂2 points

It's all listed in the indictment here: https://www.documentcloud.org/documents/25182548-chutkan Fake electors, starting a riot, keeping the riot going, pressuring election officials, the list is pretty long and if the guy doesn't win the election, he will go to prison over it.2 points

Trump: "It doesn't matter whether you win or lose the election, you still have to fight like hell." Do you believe that's how democracy works? That you use illegal means to contest an election which you've lost? When told by an aide that Vice President Mike Pence was in peril as the rioting on Capitol Hill escalated on Jan. 6, 2021, President Donald J. Trump replied, “So what?”2 points

In a speech in Wisconsin on August 17, 2020, Trump told a crowd: "The only way we're going to lose this election is if if the election is rigged." Four witnesses also stated under oath that Trump told them his intention was to declare victory before the votes were all counted and any winner projected. Just think about that... it's October right now, and there is no way we can know for certain who will win this election. The 2020 election was just as close. So if the guy was saying in August that the only way he could lose was due to "rigging," that's because he was sewing the seeds of doubt. He had no way of knowing in August that more votes would definitely be cast for him. In fact, Trump doesn't even dispute that Biden got millions more votes, and he didn't dispute a single Congressional or Senatorial election, even though they were the SAME election, same ballots, same day. Bottom line: If Trump loses this November, only a combination of several Presidential AND Gubernatorial pardons will keep him out of prison. That's just a fact. Even if he's elected, state prosecutions will continue and he can face prison after he's out of office, if he's still alive. Plain and simple, Donald Trump is a criminal. He had plenty of lawyers tell him what to do in order to stay within the confines of the law, and he ignored them. He didn't unknowingly break the law; he was warned and he was told by his own lawyers, like Ty Cobb.2 points

So WTF has the USA got to do with it? You as dumb as Trump and think you can just pick up the phone and say "don't do it or else" and they cower? You can broker peace treaties and you can supply arms to one side or the other. You don't tell other countries what to do.2 points

You most certainly did. I asked why you used such divisive and confrontational language if your interest lies in honest debate. You responded with more vitriol, when I expressed my opinion that it seemed obvious to me that in fact you had no interest in serious or good faith conversations you resorted (as you always do) to brushing me off as a "leftard cultist' a claim that has no basis in reality but is simply your reflex action because all you're truly looking for is someone to confirm your extremist views or a fight with some left wing nutjob. So , either speak to me like as the nuanced, thoughtful, non partisan person that is actually looking for the best solutions for the problems we both agree society is facing that I am, or support your continued assertions about me. My money says you can't do either.2 points

There is overwhelming evidence Trump's campaign deliberately ginned up riots to exploit the chaos to overturn the election. Your lack of concern is a reflection of your poor character.2 points

Reagan defeated the Soviets. Far more important, the free market won. Around the world, there are fewer black markets. Nowadays, numbers are more accurate.1 point

This is a serious topic that will require each of us to consider the moment in which we exist, in context to the past and how the future is a thing yet to be in our present. It comes in the morning but that is not today and the future of our country is in the hands of those who experience the afternoon as tomorrow. Therefore we have to turn the page and agree to work together to work together to address this issue...and to work together as we continue to work, operating from the new norms, rules and agreements that we will work on this together. We got to take this stuff seriously, as seriously as you are because you have been forced to have taken this stuff seriously. It is time for us to do what we have been doing. And that time is every day.1 point

Not saying it's a good idea. But the Marxists try to expand their stranglehold on speech through citing this non existing law. The nonsense about "you can't yell fire in a crowded theater" was overturned in the 1960s https://www.whalenlawoffice.com/blog/legal-mythbusting-series-yelling-fire-in-a-crowded-theater/ So Tampon lied during the debate.1 point

Because I knew it would trigger you. And it did. You're my puppet, dancing for my amusement. What we're talking about was you butting into someone else's conversation and making such a spectacular hash of an attempted gotcha that you're scrambling to save what little dignity you have left, but it's too late. I'm dodging any questions, you're just very dumb. lol are you still gonna go with this even after it was obvious to everyone but you, the dumbest man alive, that I was challenging WestCanMan's entire premise?1 point

Okay, but trying to give Trump credit for that is absurd. Foreign leaders literally laughed at him to his face. They weren't planning their geopolitical escapades around that clown.1 point

Trump appealed to the Supreme Court, claiming immunity. The Supreme Court agreed to hear the case, but it was the LAST case of the season. Then, it was the LAST ruling they issued. So who's the foot-dragger? MAGA. Oh, and why was all of this released? Because Trump demanded evidence that his actions were not "official Presidential acts." So Jack Smith obliged him. TRUMP is the one who's delayed this trial.1 point

So you say that you want to have a factual debate but then you just run off like a hurt child. Do you have comparables? When did conservatives just casually dismiss talk of killing Barack Obama? Biden? Clinton? When did conservatives tell their supporters to get in the faces of Dem politicians and make them know that they're not welcome in public? When did Trump call Biden a Nazi or a racist or a fascist or say that the Dems were going to end democracy? You said that "it comes from both sides", so where's the similar stuff from the GOP side? I posted video. Surely you have something more than just alluding to something that you have no evidence of...1 point

He was in power and he couldn't even protect the country from election riggers? Why would you accept such weakness from a leader? That's pathetic!1 point

You are unable to define Marxism, probably because you don't understand it. You think it means "bad". You add your own opinions into objective definitions. So without building blocks for a discussion, namely definitions and facts, there is no possibility to have a conversation. But you're not here to discuss because you have no respect for the view of others, for example Democrats. I doubt you believe in Democracy, even if you say you do.1 point

Marxism is diametrically opposed to just about everything the US stands for, so the definition is accurate.1 point

So when Trump says late night TV hosts, flag burners, and pro-Palestine protesters should face consequences from the government for their speech, do you blame Harris? When Trump bans guns from his rallies, do you blame Harris for second amendment rights being infringed? When he tries to circumvent the Constitution and get Pence to not ratify the election, do you blame Harris?1 point

“We need to take your rights for the collective good” is the mantra of the dictator. Collective good is a lie. There is no collective good. It cannot be measured or foreseen. There is no valid way in which to measure trade-offs or ensure optimization. It cannot be maximized by diktat. “Collective good” is entirely unknowable, conjured into being to convince citizens to sell themselves down the river by adopting the “one size fits none” coercive solutions of elites, aristocracies, or technocrats. The best way to make the cowards of the citizenry think that your way is the best way, is to lie about the facts and terrify it with fabricated hobgoblins, custom cut to sway and to frighten them into compliance. The vast majority of people were never in any danger, they were subjected to a years-long fear porn propaganda operation to get them to give up their civil liberties in exchange for a fake "security" and pad the wallets of billionaires by scaring the populace into getting multiple jabs of a product few of them needed. At this point, nothing is going to wise up the chumps. They fell for it. And now they're mad that you didn't.1 point

It's on purpose. They know they were lied to and admitting it means admitting they are m0r0ns. They're not going to do that. The frustrating part is that in the last year, many of the "experts" have admitted they lied about things or just made sh!t up. And these two are still defending what people have already admitted lying about. They're both here still arguing that covid was the deadliest thing that has ever hit humanity and it justified all of the responses. The majority of people realize neither of those things are true. Very few people are still getting jabbed. These 2 are the outliers, the fanatics, the conspiracy theorists. They are dangerous, because there is nothing they would change about the fanatical responses to covid. They would love to see it all happen again. They loved that they were called heroes for sitting in their homes in terror, while peons (essential workers) served them, delivered their food and Amazon packages, picked up their garbage and trucked food to the markets. Then they turned on all those peons, demanding they get fired. User and eyeball are cowards. Cowering under their beds in terror, while others keep the world running, the very ones they try to shame now. And when it was revealed the whole thing was over-blown chicken little nonsense, they have to double down on it being the deadliest thing to ever hit humanity.1 point

Ahhh no. This has been commented on by many experts and a simple search will prove that the article's claim is entirely correct and people misunderstood the quote. This is realatively common knowledge. Why not actually read a bit before making statements that demonstrate your own lack of undrerstanding?1 point

I doubt it is why nobody trusts you or your kind. The judge did not in any way shape or form rule that the president should be immune from the law. The issue is the venue. They said that a president should be impeached and dealt with that way rather than a court. But you have to lie about literally everything and then you're shocked when people don't take your word about something else. Learn to tell the truth and people will take you more seriously1 point

So many naive commentators on here who think they know how the world works. They don’t have a clue and should go back to their Jack Tapper. Thank God Canada has a few sane politicians left like Danielle Smith to rescue the country from the progressive lunatics who are destroying it. I hope she goes after chem trails and the creepers trying to corrupt our children. Sadly it’s an uphill battle in Castro-Trudeau’s Post-National State.1 point

I guess you haven't heard..... Donald hatched and implemented a plan to install fake electors in multiple states. He then coerced his vice president to break his oath of office and certify those fake electors, or, at the least, refuse to certify the election. If Pence had complied, millions of voters would of been disenfranchised and Donald would of retained power through fraud. Thus, Donald is a dirty piece of shit traitor and attempted usurper. And all his sycophants are halfwits.1 point

Where they already lived. The irish went throught that. Start your own business. First off if they have had them for 50 years then yes yes they have those rights. 50 years is a long time. And second they've had most of their rights for much longer than that, and some rights that other people still don't have. Soooooo... Not really a lot of excuse now.1 point

As a Trump supporter, I'm not sure how you can throw stones at anyone regarding "word salads." Apparently you didn't watch the presidential debate, or you would have seen Trump's incoherent, off-topic ranting contrasted to a well-composed Harris, who manipulated Trump with grace and ease.1 point

Vance clearly lost when he damningly wouldn't answer the question about whether he would uphold democracy and the constitution like Mike Pence did. But I guess he's scared Trump would try to have him hanged too.1 point

I was a child. I don't remember but our charter of right do not include imposition of your beliefs upon others. If you don't believe in abortion or doctor assisted suicide then don't do it but do not impose your beliefs upon others. You religious fanatics always try to intimidate people who don't agree with your backward thinking with punishment. If you can't cut their throats then you use other technics like God's punishment or as you did deportation. I remember the Campus Crusader person who made friends with me in the university. told me about the bible in a few sessions and then told me now there is no excuse since I have heard about bible and I have to accept it or face the hell!!!!!1 point

I'd offer a correction. This really doesn't have anything to do with desperation. It's just who Trump is: a pathological liar. He started from day 1 literally telling people it didn't rain at his inauguration, when the entire country watched it happen. His wife sat on stage next to him under an umbrella. His guest speaker, Franklin Graham, went on stage just after Trump and mentioned the rain in his remarks. And Trump, being a compulsive liar made the claim anyway. Because he's mentally disordered. He's the kind of guy who would pee on your head and tell you it's NOT raining. And his devoted cultists can't be bothered to call him on the lies. They'd just luxuriate in the golden shower of his attention.1 point

A self-published book by an anti-Lincoln/pro CSA crank featuring claims that have never been made before and evidence that no one has ever come across in 150+ years and you think it's gospel because you're very dumb. Got anything by someone who isn't a crank/is an actual historian of the era? As you would say: nope. That's literally why they did it. https://projects.fivethirtyeight.com/confederate-statues/ https://www.history.com/news/how-the-u-s-got-so-many-confederate-monuments https://www.splcenter.org/20190201/whose-heritage-public-symbols-confederacy https://www.vox.com/the-big-idea/2017/8/18/16165160/confederate-monuments-history-charlottesville-white-supremacy Because i'm not interested in getting bogged down in your fatuous false equivalencies here. Just a reminder the "good and noble" thing we're talking about here is a guy who committed treason to defend chattel slavery. *amazing things to defend slavery The Nazis thought they were good guys too, what's your point? I want the icons that glorify figures like him gone so people don't come away thinking stupid shit about how he was a great guy fighting for a noble cause like you believe. I'd rather people get the full and accurate picture. You're literally rewriting history here by downplaying Lee's commitment to upholding slavery. Though I'm a little surprised you're such a fan of a guy who fought for a "socialist" regime like the CSA as per your previous claims.1 point

Well in that case you're just plain wrong. Our quality of life by every measurable metric has reduced compared to what it was before 10 years ago. Our healthcare is worse. Even middle class people struggle to find affordable housing and to buy enough food. 25 percent of canadians will use a food bank this fall. Inflation has reduced our practical spending power. Business investment is leaving canada for the first time in our history, our adjusted gdp per capaita is falling which means there's less tax dollars to provide services just when interest is sucking up a lot of our tax income. The situation has become so bad that our birthrate has now fallen to 1.3 births per female in their life time. We need 2.2 births just to maintain our population so we're now completely and utterly dependent on immigration to even keep our current population levels because people dont' have time or money to have kids. People wait many many years to get a personal doctor AND the medical clinics which used to fill in the gaps are all but not taking anyone anymore. Emerg wait times are now regularly into the double digit hours of waiting, and in many cases the emerg rooms are closing for many days per week or altogether, and numerous people have died in the hours it takes for the ambulance to get to the nearest open facility. And you think a bit of tech makes up for that? It's ok if your wife dies due to lack of care or you can't afford a home as long as you've got good download speeds on your iphone?1 point
