Do you need to be told why that sound both mentally depraved and childish? You can work it out on your own right? Why is the left doing this? EVERY BODY knows these little deliberate misquotes are a lie. No, trump didn't promise to be a dictator, other than on two issues day one. No, he didn't say there'd be a bloodbath in the streets if he lost, he said the auto industry would have a blood bath with biden in charge. And so on and so on. It's become a horrible running joke. It makes the left look weak. It's like there's nothing legit to critisize him for so you make it up. It works against you Why? Seriously - what the hell are you thinking? Just tell the truth. There's enough legitimate things to critisize trump on that you don't need to make crap up.3 points

Elon Musk’s America PAC is under criminal investigation for multiple counts of voter fraud and related crimes. Here’s what they did: The America PAC created a voter registration website, using analytics to draw in young and undecided voters. They collected the voter registration data and implied that they were registering you to vote. And they did register voters across the country… except in swing states, where they did not register these voters. So when Election Day rolls around, they show up to vote, and they aren’t registered. Nice little scam, Elon. So who’s the voter fraud party? The GOP. https://fortune.com/2024/08/06/elon-musk-trump-america-pac-michigan-north-carolina-investigation/2 points

That’s your attempt at “they’re all the same”. No; they are not all the same. You can twist anyone’s words around to claim they’re a liar. Walz was demoted for one single day and he’s being called a liar over it. Not in the same league as claiming that windmills cause cancer, that you have “alternative facts”, and on and on. Trump lies incessantly. He’s in the Liars Hall of Fame.2 points

Facts. You can't refute them or engage in an honest discussion. So this is all you got. Just pathetic. You are worked up over it enough to sit here trying to be dishonest about it.2 points
-
Try to keep up with the discussion before jumping in. Apparently Rebound gave a big enough crap to try to say this was a lie. I suppose you are not really interested in the facts now that they show Rebound was wrong and that Tampon Tim did in fact support putting them in the boys restrooms. And we are talking about public policy being enacted by a public figure with tax dollars. This is my business. If you want to carry around tampons for yourself, go for it. Not my business. Show me where they were paid for that. They were both CSM's, how were either of them passed over for promotion? You can't deal with the facts, all you can do is try to make up crap to attack those presenting them.2 points
-
He was conditionally promoted to the rank, not to the benefits package. You literally have no idea what you are talking about or are just being obtuse to avoid owning up to the facts here. He never owned that rank. IT. WAS. CONDITIONAL. He did not meet the conditions. I guess this is better than your usual "crying" schtick, but not that much.2 points

How many times have i pointed it out: whenever the left knows they're in real trouble they play the 'why are we talking about this" card. Who cares? That was LAST week. why are we even talking about this? They try and downplay the hell out of it. The fact is to a lot of people, especially americans and especially in many of the swing states, they care very much. Fudging your military service is seen as pissing on the graves of solders who really did serve and give their lives. It will turn him from being a help in some states to being an albatross in states they needed to win. The problem for Harris is that the media can only keep her propped up on a hype train for so long, and then the excitement dies down and people start paying attention to the reality. Starting about september 15th ish people will focus on this race and she's going to have nothing in the tank. Her vp's a bad choice, her policies are left of castro and she'll have a tough time convincing people otherwise with all the quotes out there, and she's got no track record and her history is too spotty to stand on. Not to mention no experience and very little name brand recognition. She needed a vp that would shore up her weakest areas and if anything she's got one that's just added more weaknesses.2 points

ummm - i'm on the "ukraine" side in this, i've had pretty extensive disagreements with both about this. I also believe that regardless of how it started it's to our advantage to pay pennies on the dollar for a war we don't lose people in to keep russia weak because they're a threat and neither of them agree with me on that. I respect they have different opinions and at least they make their arguments in a coherent and logical manner, which is more than i can say for you. I just happen to disagree. But of course - for you it's not about what the truth is. You just lump everyone together as "not my tribe" and the truth don't matter. You make false statements as easy as breathing because you're too stupid to cope with an idea that your echo chamber can't accept. That's why nobody respects your opinion and you constantly look like a tard. Both @WestCanMan and @Nationalist can think rings around you so fast people would think you're saturn. You're pathetic. At least TRY to learn to think at some point.2 points

Ok. But you are using the logical side of your brain. To understand how a progressive, leftist, liberal, socialist, Marxist, communist Democrat sees it you must: 1. Harbor hatred for the speaker 2. Use your hatred to justify any and all mischaracterizations 3. Take that mischaracterization and blew it up so big and so ridiculous that the average person thinks you belong in an insane asylum 4. Insist that your disproportionate anger and delusional view is the only possible explanation 5. Pee yourself 6. Discount any and all rational thought 7. Shiny object, time to move on. But definitely bring it up again later when something completely unrelated needs a what-about-ism.2 points

His overall point was that she was born a man. And that is not true. But this is Trump. He won’t admit that he made a mistake, he will repeat his lie over and over until you fools believe it. Because that’s what you cult members do.2 points

TBH, there's no way on earth that you could have explained his specific condition 2 weeks ago. Almost no one could. I doubt that you could even explain it now. So Trump got one wrong about the Olympics. Boo hoo. It's not a major story. "Herbie lied" is like "man breathes air while fish swims". I threw a twist into that one, just to throw you off-track. You probably have no idea what that all means, do you...2 points

My guess is the name "Columbia" comes from the explorer Columbus who discovered/rediscovered the Americas. Maybe at some point all of the "new world" was referred to as "Columbia"?2 points

It's not. Reproducibility is. It's why a lot of "peer-reviewed" studies get pulled. If you toss a bottle of water into the air and it lands right side up, you can then write a study that says all bottles will land right side up. But if other studies can't reproduce the same result - the study is useless, peer-reviewed or not. If you don't understand that, I don't know what to tell you. It's basic science. Summary - Reproducibility and Replicability in Science - NCBI Bookshelf (nih.gov) When a newly reported scientific study has far-reaching implications for science or a major potential impact on the public, the question of its reliability takes on heightened importance. Concerns over reproducibility and replicability have been expressed in both scientific and popular media. Reproducibility is obtaining consistent results using the same input data; computational steps, methods, and code; and conditions of analysis. Reproducibility: why it matters and how it can be nurtured | Elsevier Reproducibility – the repeatability of research findings to enable research and knowledge to progress – is vital and underpins trust in science. You don't get to ignore information that's given to you and then claim it doesn't exist, which is what you've done throughout the covid years. Ignore anything that doesn't agree with CBC headlines. I really think you just do not have the brain capacity to absorb anything beyond CBC headlines.1 point

Here in Fredericton NB i have seen 3 new gas stations being built, two of them directly across from their competitors...i think fossil fuel is here to stay for a while...now what happens in BC is anybody guess they like to torture themselves as climate believers...I do think the EV market is going to pick up, once the tech gets a little better, according to Elon musk....but there is no shortage of pickups in NB, sometimes it is the only way to get to work in the winter...something i doubt an non truck EV is going to do... Other articles report that the big 3 are cutting back on their truck ev lines as sales are not what they expected, i think it is a lack of consumer confidences....other articles i've read say pretty clearly we lack the electrical grid capacity to meet any of the liberals lofty goals for 2030, we will be selling new fossil fuel vehs well past that date despite what justin/ jagmeet states... https://www.cbc.ca/news/business/ev-sales-have-slowed-do-massive-subsidies-still-make-sense-1.71852321 point

Yes, in that it would in fact go into boys bathrooms. You care. You care enough to keep commenting here. Rebound cared enough to call this a lie... out of ignorance or being a liar. So, you first argument failed, you were shown to be ignorant, now you pivot to trying to attack me. Same old song and dance from you because you are not able to put forth good arguments. So, you made it up. Liar. No, not obviously. Where do you get he was passed over, or are you lying about this too? Nothing made up. I provided facts, you can't deal with those very well.1 point

You don't understand why Warren Buffet pulled money out of the market, nor do you have any clue what he's actually saying, or what his strategies are. You like referencing him, but you're only regurgitating garbage-takes off social media that, rather than quoting him or having any understanding whatsoever about what's going on, make their own uninformed conclusions based on little/nothing. What's Michael Burry saying these days, by the way? 🙄1 point

If this were to happen and Joe Biden were to meet with them and later make a public statement that Zelensky and Putin are admirable men who deserve great respect for reaching this peace deal, myata would be telling us that Joe delivered a masterclass on diplomacy.1 point

Yes, yes he has. Biden forced Israel to slow walk their invasion of Rafah and throughout the invasion has continually demanded Israel slow down or otherwise stop knowing full well their mission was to eliminate Hamas. Biden used weapons as leverage against them. Biden has made this war drag on. No other country in the Middle East wants anything to do with the Palestinians like that. We fire bombed and then atomic bombed the Japanese into submission. You want to green light doing the same to Gaza?1 point

This is not the definition of bribery. Almost universally, everyone in politics does this, in that they give special access to donors and consider what they are lobbying for. Bribery is doing something ILLEGAL for $$$. When parents offer $$$ to their kids to go pick up the dog poop in the backyard, that is not a bribe; it is an allowance.1 point

They did not get "booted" for performance enhancing drugs". They got booted for using a banned substance. What many do not understand is not all banned drugs are "performance enhancing" but they are masking drugs or chemicals that can mask PED's in their system. The list of masking agents is a lot longer and intensive than the actual PED's.1 point

Personally, the slavery issue is dead with me, but leftards like Kamala like to bring it up to suit their own purposes. It's important for leftards to know now, that a vote for Kamala is a vote for someone with slaver DNA. Walz is a loser. He already admitted that his handling of the riots was "an abject failure". He basically got the easiest question ever wrong: "Should we let rioters destroy the city?"1 point

Yeah like i said it was pretty obvious at the time. No there isn't, if there is it's not in the video you posted, which shows a car speeding towards a group of people on a one way street and someone trying to stop them by swinging at the vehicle. I see someone swing something at the car after it has already passed four seconds before the driver plows into a crowd of people on purpose. Yeah the dude was schizophrenic with a lengthy rap sheet and a history of violence so there were plenty of plausible reasons for what he did, including the part where he was fleeing the scene of another crime.1 point

He was demoted from command sergeant. What I said about his classes was that he didn't finish them. I wasn't faulting him for that. I was giving you the facts. He left before he finished. That is why he was demoted. As for Trump, I dont know if he had spurs or not. Those can be fixed. But I would seriously doubt the military would just accept his word. They probably had some evidence like a medical record. Either way, he didn't lie about serving. We all know you are trying to equivocate to distract from your nominees lack of qualifications.1 point
-
I said he lied about being a Command Seargant. I didn't say anything about him not finishing the classes. Again, he's lying about it and you are making excuses for it. I didn't serve. But I didn't lie about it either. Trump didn't serve. He didn't lie about it. JD served in a hostile country and didn't lie about his role. Harris didn't serve and didn't lie about it. The only one lying about their service is Walz.1 point
