Boys and girls, you saw it for yourself right here. Roboshit tried to equate climate change with warming, with that ignorant comment he made about Florida and our alleged 100 degree water. Oh, by the way https://www.floridatoday.com/story/news/2024/07/09/florida-heat-weather-ocean-water-temperature-too-hot-swim-swimming-beaches/74333096007/ On July 9, 2024, Apalachicola in Florida's Panhandle and Long Sound near the Florida Keys had the highest ocean surface temperatures recorded in the state, at 90.9 degrees Fahrenheit. For uneducated blue state !diots like Roboshit global warming means a rise in the TEMPERATURE of the globe. Climate change means CLIMATE (in either certain specific areas or ALL areas) CHANGES. It DOESN'T mean warming. It means snow in the summer. Monsoon in the desert. 100 degree temps in Siberia in January. There is a difference between the two. But the forum RET@RD can't be bothered with the truth and the facts.2 points

What's the best thing about being Joe Biden? Waking up every day and finding out that you're the president.2 points

It doesn't matter. They will throw everything they have out there, which is why Giuliani and the Kracken lady are being disbarred.2 points

Yeah I wonder why there's not wall to wall contemporary media coverage of a scandal that broke 35 f*cking years ago. Truly a mystery for the ages. Took me .5 seconds to find these: https://www.ctvnews.ca/canada/church-must-pay-104-million-to-victims-of-historical-abuse-in-newfoundland-1.6953270 https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/newfoundland-labrador/church-mount-cashel-settlement-1.7255755 You want to be a victim sooooo bad.2 points

not if you are Canada, since Canada would never launch a torpedo in its own defence the Americans & British already defend the arctic with their SSN's Canada is frankly a bystander in this conflict, merely the no man's land in between1 point

Gaining ground, yes. KMs a day, definitely not. We're talking meters. YOU ARE READING IT WRONG. I already explained how this is WRONG, and I even showed you a screenshot, with the legend. HERE'S ANOTHER ONE. Either you're color blind, or you're bad at reading maps. You tell us. This heroic success is about 200m, and it's one of only two such instances on the entire 1000km front line. This is the progress Russia is making daily, and all for the low-low cost of ~1000 casualties a day.1 point

He keeps pimping the same appeal to authority fallacy as the gold standard here, long after his cited 'authorities' have completely abandoned those dishonest claims. He probably still has some thalidomide stashed away for his granddaughters, in case they feel a bit of morning sickness when they get pregnant.1 point

In 30 or 40 years, hybrids or EVs will be practical. The technology will take at least that long to solve the problems of (a) HEAVY use of fossil fuel electricity to charge them (b) batteries that cost more than the car itself, and (c) EVS that catch fire, killing the driver and passengers. The internal combustion engine car had many years of development before it became the supreme method of transportation today. There were no government mandates to buy them by a certain year, like this ret@rds in Califagula are doing. People once said it would be impossible to fly. Now you can fly AND be treated like cattle at 1000 feet in the air. It's the safe space crowd here. Not enough brains to hold up their end of a dispute and wanting to just CANCEL what they don't like. I swear, Florida first graders are more mature than that.1 point

the labor shortage in the US that came during and after Covid 19 was deceptive. In the most general and absolute terms.. no there was no shortage. However, in certain industries and cities the number of applicants was well below that of the stated need. The most publicized was fast food and limited service (Denny's or Chilis) restaurants in mid to large cities. Were all industries affected? no. Mining and high end manufacturing (anything but food) were not struggling to find folks. I can understand why someone would try their best to move on from fast food and limited restaurants. A lot of not so great customers, relatively low pay (in comparison to others) and frequently not the most family friendly hours.1 point

Well, if the courts of law would open their gates a bit.. the court of public opinion would follow. The court of public opinion sees the restrictive laws (wrongfully so, might I add) as a conspiracy against them. Like it or not... there are government employees who follow the law to the letter. I think that they need to open the doors just a bit and hopefully satiate some of these types that believe in a grand conspiracy against them.1 point

That's funny. Despite the lack of technological advances, and the secrecy of the Holocaust by the Germans, the New York Times ran a story, that correctly stated in December 1942, that 3 million Jews had been exterminated, mainly in Poland and the Soviet Union.1 point

NATO was designed (like SEATO) to achieve two things: a) confront Marxism (world hegemony of an ideology) and b) restrict Stalinism/Soviet Union. Since the 1990s, we face neither problem. But Army Guy, in these 2020s, our various world players seriously need a new sustainable structure of peace. IMHO, NATO is not a part of the picture. At present, NATO is just a way to force foreigners to buy US-made military equipment. It is mercantilism at the dumbest level.1 point

So weird that people would be skeptical of a woman who made unsupported claims beneficial to the Trump campaign before defecting to Russia to hang out with a convicted Kremlin spy who also sought to influence that election. Can't fathom why there would be any doubt. No collusion!1 point

What public examples? Again, the incident in question here was behind closed doors, it is the one that Biden is constantly pushing. Yes, he does attack people, but he has no such pattern of generally attacking veterans or service members. He does have a pattern of being nice to them, saying good things about them, and honoring them. You choose to ignore the 99% of his day to day life and act like this contested example is all the proof you need. I am the one being honest here about the facts.1 point

Most sane people can see what's happening. Yet there are those who keep on pushing this stupidity. Then there are those whom constantly want someone to define woke.1 point

So let's just go with your idea, and have Ukraine surrender. Since surely the Russians won't commit a slew of war crimes, up to, and including genocide against Ukrainian civilians in the aftermath. *facepalm*1 point

2 - Google search women life freedom .........One recent evidence among a thousand more. There are plenty of evidence, the latest being the fact that last week an overwhelming majority of Iranians refused to take part in the sham presidential elections. The Ayatollahs had called on the nation and urged them to vote in order to show the world its legitimacy but based on the lies announced by the regime itself only 40% voted (and the true figure is as little as 15%). The slogan is Death to ruling shiite Islamic clergy and their mercenaries on streets. 3 - I have to write a book to answer this but in summary, Arabs are bunch of desert born camel riders with no history and no civilization, whereas Persians have 2500 years of history dominating half the world 2500 to 1500 years ago (the other half by Romans) for ten centuries. Cyrus brought in the very first charter of human rights 2500 years ago. Persians are originally Aryans (before being mixed with inferior invaders), whereas Arabs are Semitics. Persians have totally different culture and calendar and history and geography and celebrations like Noruz, Yalda and Tirdad. Persians speaking Farsi which is different with Arabic. Yes Turks are non-Arabs too and have different language and culture than Iran. Their recent history (only 200 years ago) was also a brutal empire. Because they are Muslims, their history is full of brutality like the massacre of Armenians.1 point

The Middle East is important for several reasons1234: Rich in natural resources, including vast petroleum reserves. Strategically located as a tricontinental hub, facilitating trade, transportation, and cultural exchanges. Historical significance due to its role in history and its importance to Muslims, Christians, and Jews. Religious importance. Incredible culture. 9 Reasons Why The Middle East Is Important - Global Affairs Explained Some of the comments on here show a complete lack of knowledge. In fact they are less than serious. Every conflict? Economic crisis? The conflicts/panics between 1914-1945 were markedly different from any conflict before. You have to go back to 1789-1815 to see such an upheaval. ===== Kennedy was born in 1917. When deciding what to do in 1962, he read Tuchman's "The Guns of August". For Trudeau Snr and Kissinger, the collapse of Austria-Hungary - the events of 1914 - was a pre-occupation.1 point
